View Full Details of Archers Court Nursing HomeThe staff are always helpful and all times. All service are very good and all staff/carers help mother all they can, which I think is very good.
Archer's Court is a very nice home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very airy and spotlessly clean and would recommend the home to anyone.
Homely feel on entering, staff very helpful, can't do enough to assist relatives and residents. Kindness and patience shown to residents, high ratio of staff to residents. Informal feel where residents have access to all areas, have choice of living dining areas. TV always available, never turned off so residents can enjoy TV programmes of their time which means residents with dementia can relate to an enjoy. No restrictions of meal times, meals are catered to when residents wish to eat. Big emphasis on being able to access outdoors, big plus! Encouraged to continue normal routines like trips to shops, events, pub for coffee and tea.
When my Dad moved to Archers Court, we didn't know what to expect. As a family we were not given a choice which care home my Dad could go to and the whole process took a while to adjust to. However, I can honestly say that Archers Court is a great home for my Dad, the staff are very attentive and kind, the activities are fun and entertaining and he is well cared for, plus the food is delicious . Thank you to everyone at Archers Court.
It takes a while for botht he person going into a care home and the family to get used to and understand the routine etc. The staff are very helpful and have to deal with difficult circumstances & situations but are always willing to do what they can. Its nice when they get used to you and vice versa and becomes home for relatives.
Staff are really helpful and go above and beyond. Ensuring family and friends are made welcome.
All my experience at the home is good. The staff/carers are very helpful towards my mother and very helpful when I'm at the home. All services are good.
Fantastic home they always there for my nana, very helpful and always keeping her busy with painting her nails, bingo. My nana has settled really good into this home. Her care is 100% she is very happy here
My dad has been at Archers Court for nine months and the care he gets is fantastic. Staff (nurses, carers, management) there is nothing too much trouble for them. They are all very reassuring with any questions I have about my dad. My dad gets exceptional care. I can turn up unannounced call (visit) and made to be made very welcome and to see my dad settled and happy. Thank you to everyone in Archers Court for continuing looking after my dad x
My sister was admitted to Archers Court in Farringdon at the beginning of October last year and the whole family are so thrilled with the care/welcome and love that she and all the family receive from the dedicated staff here. The change which we see in my sister is so, so encouraging. She is content and happy in herself living here (which is the total opposite to how she was in the previous home she was in) therefore not only has Archers and their staff brought real contentment to my sister but the 'peace of mind; which we, as her family now have knowing that she is in a wonderful, caring and loving environment - money cannot buy. The home itself is always clean/tidy and no 'unpleasant smell' is ever the opposite if we call in when a meal is being prepared - the food looks (and tastes lovely my sister tells us). Definitely a home we recommend to our contacts.
I've been visiting a friend for over 2 years, I've been treated with respect from the staff very helpful. Medically excellent.
My daughter is a resident here. I am extremely happy with her care. She is well looked after. Carers do a good job she is safe. The home is beautifully kept so clean and beautiful decor is well maintained. I have no complaints the food looks lovely and is served beautiful dining rooms are wonderful also the bedrooms are beautifully kept.
I want to express my gratitude for renewing my trust in the caregiving field. Since I first encountered Archers Court I've felt embraced and comforted knowing that my mother has found a truly special place with the Archers Court family. The management and all the team are outstanding. They have consistently provided nothing but compassion and assistance. Their dedication to exceptional dementia care has truly touched my heart. I couldn't have wished for a better home for my mother and cannot thank you all enough.
Having visited a number of times, including a cold call first visit, I have found all of the staff to be extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The care is over and above my expectations and the cleanliness of the care home is exceptional.
I visited my aunt who recently moved into this wonderful home. From the moment I walked through the door, there was a lovely caring atmosphere within the building. All the staff I met were really warm and friendly which feeds into the happy demeanour of the residents. Plenty of stimulation and activity for the residents to get involved in should they wish to. Very clean and tidy establishment which is clearly well run and organised.
Like many my husband does not want to be in a 'home.' Some days are an uphill battle for his family and the staff. Nothing is right - he is lonely and bored, he won't eat, personal hygiene doesn't happen and food goes out of the window or down the toilet. Despite this he does like the staff who are friendly and helpful. He sounds intelligent initially but is a recluse. He does not get involved in activities and remains in his room most days. This can be a problem. He won't go and survey food choices but relies on what is brought - that can be monotonous. He is very 'picky' about food and is losing weight. He rarely uses the shower, each time is a new experience but he does need help. residents regularly urinate outside his door which upsets him. I do feel for the cleaning staff - small in number - large building and lots of accidents to clean up.
My dad has been in the care of this home for over a year. I have full confidence and peace of mind that he is being looked after to the manner of which he deserves. The hard-working staff through the home deserve full recognition for the care they provide
My father has been a resident now for 15 months. I have nothing but praise for the staff as they do a marvellous job in the hardest of circumstances. I know that since my father was placed at Archers Court I can go to work knowing that he is well cared for. He had a 21st birthday party we will never forget.
Management and staff are excellent. Without exception all staff are extremely knowledgable and caring and are on top of any situation that can arise. Always pleasant and smiling they are an asset to the establishment. Residents are always being entertained with all sorts of activities. I feel that our resident could not be in a better place or have better care than in Archers Court Nursing Home. Well done to all and keep up the excellent service you all provide.
