A very nice visit ,accompanied by my youngest son,over from New Zealand,on June 28 th 2025,to see my brother who suffers with Parkinson's disease. The home was clean,bright,smelt fresh and nicely decorated. A polite and friendly welcome from a carer who I had spoken to by phone several times.
I met other staff members who were all very professional,in the fact that they were well versed on my brothers condition and his needs,but not patronising. All staff were polite,kind and helpful. We were offered cups of tea and a seat in the lovely garden. The home had pushed to get my brother a new,state of the art wheelchair which has made a huge difference to his well being and gives him a degree of mobility and independence. His room was very clean overlooking the garden and well equipped for his needs. He,and the other residents that I met seemed well and cheerful. I am satisfied that Evergreen House is providing an excellent level of care.
