Belmore Lodge is a wonderful & caring place for residents. My father is treated with dignity & kindness at all times.
Staff are fantastic & everyone is made to feel at home at Belmore Lodge including family members. I am so impressed with howaccomodating Belmore have been to keep Dad as independent
as possible at all times. I am so pleased Dad is a resident at Belmore, thank you to everyone for all their care x

My uncle was a resident at Belmore Lodge for just over a year. We cannot fault the care that he received during this time. The staff always looked after him really well and always informed us of any issues.Always made welcome when you visited and somebody available to answer any concerns.

We just wanted to say a big thank you to you for all the help and advice you gave us before and during Dad's stay at Belmore Lodge. Without you we are not sure how we could have gone forward with his care after a very difficult few months in hospital following his fall at home.
You and all of your
colleagues are all very special people and it was a pleasure to meet you all. Belmore Lodge is a lovely place and we were very pleased with all the wonderful care, help and kindness we received. The last couple of days have been a bit of a challenge you could say trying to settle him in back at home together with making sure we have everything in place but we are slowly getting there I think! Needless to say, we are missing you all but we will keep in touch. Thank you again for everything.

My mother has been at Belmore Lodge for 5 months now. Initially for a trial period, she found the home so friendly and relaxing that she didn't want to return home. The staff have been fantastic in getting to know Mum, her likes, dislikes and needs. I have been so impressed that everyone got to know
her so quickly from the reception team to the dining staff, from the companion team to the fabulous nursing team.
It is such a relief to me to know that Mum is so well cared for and nurtured.

From the moment I visited Belmore Lodge and met some of the staff I knew this was going to be good for my Father as a respite break. It has a warm and welcoming vibe. All areas are clean and tidy, beautifully decorated. Lovely large lounge, restaurant and garden area with lots of seating. My Father
was nervous first of all but soon started to enjoy himself. Staff were very kind and considerate. He is very much looking forward to another stay at the end of the year. Couldn't be more satisfied with his experience.

All the staff treated my husband with kindness. Very caring and helpful. In any situation. I was given support and information when needed. My mind was at rest knowing that my husband was cared very well and treated as an individual.

A special thank you to all the amazing staff who help and support my sister-in -law. She has been in Belmore for a long time and has always had fantastic care and support . Even when she is feeling down they chivvy her along and brighten her day. To see her laughing and joking with the carers the
other day was so lovely to see. A reflection on how much they care for her .

My Aunt has received outstanding care while at Belmore Lodge. The carers are so kind and you can see they love and respect her by the relationship they have . So many smiles and laughs. She has very limited mobility and their handling of her is caring and considerate. She is very happy at Belmore
and our grateful thanks to all of the staff . It is wonderful that we do not have to worry about her knowing she is so well looked after.

My auntie has been a resident for 3 year's now, I visit once a week and take her out. She is allways clean and tidy. The staff are all brilliant from top to bottom. The home is immaculate and clean, the food is first class. My mum is currently staying at the moment for 2 weeks while we go on
holiday, that says it all.

My Dad is so happy at Belmore Lodge and loves all the staff. He has been living here for 3.5 years and has been looked after so well. It helps set my mind at rest knowing he is safe and cared for by the whole team. Recently we have had to make some adjustments to his care plan, Janie and the team
have been so helpful and supportive during the process. Thanks to the team for making a difficult situation a lot easier.

Belmore Lodge stepped in to help in a moment of crisis for my elderly cousin, who had had a fall. The management couldn't have been more helpful in accommodating my cousin at short notice. This care and kindness continued while she remained in their care. The members of management were professional
and helpful, and went out of their way to respond promptly to her family's requests. The atmosphere in the Home was calm, warm and encouraging, and the staff were attentive and kind. It was a positive experience all round.

I have nothing but high praise for Belmore Lodge. It is run very well by the manager. All staff are brilliant, so kind and caring and nothing is any trouble. The food, which is so important to me, is a very high quality and enjoyable. I am very happy to be a Resident of Belmore Lodge.

I injured my leg and needed respite care while it healed - it had become infected. I had a wonderful welcome (even a welcome notice in the care park) and was impressed immediately by the reception staff. The comfort and attention, food and whole experience has been wonderful - kind and thoughtful -
I am going home soon, feeling rested + relaxed with my leg healed. A memorable experience. Comfort + decor a1! Thank you Belmore.

My sister was a resident at Belmore Lodge for eleven months, sadly requiring round the clock nursing care for her terminal illness. The nursing care my sister received was exemplary. Every member of staff was always friendly, caring and courteous to both her and myself, nothing was too much
trouble for any of them. My sister mentioned to me frequently during her care, that she had come to regard many of the staff as her new friends! Sadly my sister has now passed on, and on the odd occasion I have visited Belmore Lodge since for whatever reason, the staff are still very friendly and courteous to me.
If one day in the future, sadly I require some form of care, my first enquiry will be placed at Belmore Lodge, I very much doubt I will need to enquire elsewhere!!

May I again thank you for looking after me during my 5 week stay at Belmore Lodge. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my right knee which caused swelling and lack of flexibility and then I developed a hematoma in the same leg which really reduced my mobility. I was at home by myself (not
married) for a couple of weeks with no appetite and unable to walk without sticks. My right leg felt so weak that I was afraid to go outside in case I fell. I decided that respite care was the only solution as I was barely eating and you were kind enough to allow me to stay in the Lodge with you again. All the staff, again, were first class in assisting my recovery and I left on Tuesday in a much better frame of mind than when I entered the Lodge. I am now looking forward to meals (not as good as your chef's who could easily be given a few Michelin Stars) and am now able to walk short distances (I spent yesterday afternoon tidying up the garden) without sticks thanks to the physio I was given

Professional, kind and attentive staff. Happy atmosphere. Good quality meals, choice of menu. Ensuite bedroom, lovely, beautiful lounge and well-furnished throughout. Activities every day if interested, but no pressure to participate.
Very satisfied with care my husband received and he was much
improved when he came home after 1 months respite care.

On arrival at Belmore Lodge, one is always greeted by the very friendly and welcoming staff at reception. To be fair, all of the staff are welcoming and friendly, and no request, no matter how trivial, ever seems to be a problem for anyone. The home is always spotlessly clean and tidy, the gardens
are beautifully maintained, the food is exceptionally good, and it always has a bright and happy feel. My mother has been a resident there for ten years now, and she is certainly very happy with the care that she receives. She loves the staff and her second floor room overlooking the garden, and despite the fact that she can no longer join in with any of the activities, she always manages to keep herself occupied, positive, and cheerful. If you are considering a care home for yourself or for a loved one, I can highly recommend Belmore Lodge.

My mother recently spent 4 weeks in respite care at Belmore Lodge following an extended stay in hospital. From initial enquiry onwards, everyone and everything at Belmore Lodge was excellent. The professionalism, support, standard of care, attention to detail, personal touch, environment,
friendliness and kindness of every single member of the team, enabled my mother to feel at ease, rest, recuperate and rebuild her strength, to the extent that she has now returned home and, for the time being, is able to enjoy independent life again. Family and visitors were always made to feel extremely welcome throughout. Despite initially feeling a little reticent about going into care for the first time, my mother found the whole experience so superbly positive that she's now very much looking forward to returning for a further respite stay (holiday cover) in a couple of months and I'm sure will be back again. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful facility on our doorstep, thank you all!
