View Full Details of Primrose Hill Care HomeWe went to the Summer fete at Primrose Hill and what an afternoon, a lovely BBQ, well done chef. Entertainment was brilliant. Residents were in full swing and well looked after by staff. Such a lovely friendly home, one that I would love to go to in another 15 years. Well done all and a big thank you from us all.
When we arrived at the car home from hospital my mum was placed on the dementia floor as she had been in hospital with an infection and had a diagnosis of early onset dementia. This floor was too noisy for my mum to cope or recover. We waited in the toom for nearly 45mins waiting for someone to come and see us to explain the process. During that time my mum was getting more upset with the level of noise. I spoke to the manager who was extremely understanding & helpful and moved my mum to a quieter floor that wasn't for dementia. The 1st nurse I met on that floor was lovely & couldn't be more helpful and was really warm & personal-able to my mum. The other care staff were also fantastic & within a couple of days mum was back to her normal self and I couldn't praise the care she was given enough & how attentive the staff were with the exception of 1 nurse who made it very clear she was not happy that my mum was on that floor & sadly was lets the staff down.
A lovely care home with a very friendly atmosphere. It was so reassuring to see a smile on my dad's face every time we came to visit. So comforting to know he would be happy to stay again. Wonderful staff too!
Seeing my fathers face on visiting Primrose Hill, smiling and clean-shaven was enough to convince me he was happy as he could be, while always from home. Which has never happened before even with a live in carer.
Very satisfactory, my husband was happy with the staff and care he received. He was always clean and presentable. He would be happy to go back when needed.
Since the day my husband moved into Primrose Hill care home, we have both been treated with the utmost care and support. The home feels like a real home from home. Everyone of the staff always has a smile and a kind word. I feel very grateful that my husband is now living in such a happy, warm and safe place. Thank you all.
Primrose Hill is always very clean, friendly talkative staff, always polite and willing to help. Plenty of staff on each floor to cover the needs of everyone.
Before our friend became a resident, we visited several homes in the area but were immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere of Primrose Hill Care Home. After a settling in period, our friend appears to be enjoying life in her new abode and seems to get on with many of the carers particularly those who like to have a laugh and a joke with her, yes, there have been highs and lows, but we have been impressed by how caring the staff are and treat those who suffer from dementia with dignity and kindness.
Mother in law very happy staying here she is eating so much better very friendly, kind, happy staff.
I can't thank the staff enough for how mum is looked after. Mum is very scared of water and don't like showers but the staff here got her to have one and she said she felt so fresh after and they was so kind and made her feel at ease all the time. The staff on her floor are all so friendly and always take time to tell me how she is doing.
Very helpful staff on all levels, clean, presentable at all times. Admin/reception area clean, friendly and welcoming. An upbeat feeling as soon as you walk in. Level of care high and always ready to listen and answer any questions. Most satisfied with all aspects
As been with my wife as a resident all is excellent. Thank you for looking after my wife in such a kind way.
Following a stroke and an extended period in hospital, my father was transferred to Primrose Hill in Huntingdon. From the moment he arrived he was treated with compassion and respect. All the staff I met were amazing and made my dad comfortable and managed his end of life care with great care and allowed him to maintain his dignity. I cannot fault anything about the home. Myself and my family will be forever grateful for everything they did for dad and us at a very difficult time.
I have been visiting my friend for some while now and what has struck me at every visit is the caring staff. From management to cleaning staff, they have been friendly and helpful. Through good and bad times (my friend has dementia) they have provided support and quite a few laughs. They also keep me informed about my friend.
Had a lovely afternoon with tea and cake at Primrose Hill Care Home. We had a lovely quiz with one lovely member of staff who made us all laugh, the residents had a blast. We had beautiful cakes, made by the chef. This care home is so warm and caring. My auntie absolutely loves it there, I can't wait for the next one.
Amazing entertainment, food was lovely and homemade (well done chef), great raffle and prizes from people that donated. Would have been nice if family members could have drinks provided for next time. Can't wait for another entertainment day with the residents.
My nan is in Primrose Hill Care Home. I visit every week. I have found the staff amazing and caring. I have no worries about leaving my nan in such caring hands. I'm not allowed to ay names but there is one small lady who looks after my nan and she is amazing with my nan. Very caring and very genuine. Thank you to everyone at Primrose Hill.
I can't find anything to complain about. Staff and management - very polite and helpful. My wife is being cared for very well - which makes me fee very confident she is there.
My mother has been resident here for nearly 6 years, through varying stages of dementia. She has been very well cared for at this home. Staff have been inclusive and respectful in terms of involving the family in her care. They were especially good through COVID, ensuring regular video contact and updated on her condition regularly too. I recommend them for their care and consideration.
From day 1, the staff have been both welcoming and helpful. My mum, of 89, was apprehensive to go to a home but the staff and surroundings have made it a very satisfactory experience. Great food, great living areas and the kindest of staff have given my mum a new lease of life and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
