We can praise Bridge View enough, not only for mums care but in their continued support of the wider family. 5 stars!
Bridge View House Care Home + Sanctuary Care have been a 'god-send' to Mum and oru family. She is very well cared for, physically and emotionally. Staff have got to know her personally and treat her with dignity and respect. Daily inclusion in activities is encouraged, Mum loves trips out for lunch, or to the supermarket, also hairdresser & nails.
Staff are kind, caring and considerate. Nothing is too much trouble for them. As a family we are reasured that Mum is in good hands. She has her hair done at the hairdresser, takes part in lots of activities and enjoys a drink from "the bar". The care is first class.
My brother was a resident in Bridgeview Care Home for almost a year. The staff were amazing. One of the Nurses, carers, cleaning and laundry staff always had a word for him. Lovely to deal with. They kept him clean and his room/shower room was cleaned regularly. Thank you all so much.
I have lived at Bridge View for 2 years. The home is to me friendly and lovely place to live. Most of the staff are so considerate and helpful. I love our beautiful garden, our home has had a rough time but thanks to our new manager it's on the up and is a happy place to be.
My mum moved up to Dundee from England and into Bridge View at the start of the year to be close to me and my brother. From the initial contact with the team at Bridge View to mum moving in was faultless. All of the care staff on the ground floor, the nurses and the care team are fantastic with mum and the family. They are always ready to listen and act on any concerns and they will go above and beyond to help. The management team are always available if there are any issues and they have been very supportive throughout mums move. There is always something going on for the residents, be it games in the lounge, weekly "pub quiz" or a sing along with the different singers that come to entertain. The food in Bridge View is varied and looks great and again if mum wants something different all she need do is ask. Mum seems to have settled in and importantly she is happy.
Putting Mum into care was one of the hardest decisions we've ever faced. After visiting many homes, Bridge View stood out immediately for its warmth, comfort, and genuine care. Since moving in, we've been reassured time and again that we made the right choice. The staff are friendly, compassionate, and truly go above and beyond to help Mum feel settled, safe, and valued. The atmosphere is joyful and lively, with a fantastic range of activities-Mum especially loves the bowling, live music, and quizzes. Special thanks to the amazing manager, whose caring leadership sets the tone for the whole home. He makes us feel supported and involved in every step of Mum's care. The facilities are spotless, the garden is peaceful, and communication with families is excellent. We finally have peace of mind knowing Mum is in such loving, capable hands. Thank you to everyone at Bridge View for making such a difficult journey easier, and for the outstanding care and kindness you provide every day
Staff are amazing and cared for dad as if he was their own parent/grandparent. Every level of staff knew his name and his moods and routines. He was always treated with respect and always clean and tidy when I saw him no matter when I arrived. Dad often spent days in bed but he was still washed, shaved and had clean pyjamas and bedding every day. The food always looked appealing and always had something dad would like. If he didn't like the meal of the day there were always other options available. There are activities every day morning and afternoon and staff always on hand to help residents with challenging activities. Dad enjoyed some trips out for meals/coffee etc. I definitely recommend Bridgeview
Dad moved to Bridge View House Care Home in February 2024. He’s experienced significant health and mobility decline in a very short time, so readjusting to this and his new home is very hard for him. The nursing care to get the correct mix of medication to manage pain and alert and awake has been exemplary. Every single team member has taken time and is still taking time to get to know him and support him. Nothing is too much trouble and the attention to provide individual care and attention is excellent. My dad greets some of the team like his grandkids, he loves seeing them and when he is welcomed back in after a day out, he genuinely feels the “love” which is reassuring for us, as a family. The team have set a high bar and our expectations are high because of the great job they have done in this short space of time.
Our stepdad thought of Bridgeview as his home, the manager and her team gave him excellent care. Such a friendly care home, staff so approachable with any worries we had, and nothing was too much trouble, it gave us peace of mind to know he was very well cared for.
Bridge View became my dad’s home in September 2023. The staff have taken time to get to know him (and us) to meet his needs. He took very unwell last week and the nurses and care staff took such good care of him and supported him to make a full recovery. The deputy manager is so approachable and has answered any questions I’ve had. I work in the care sector and am aware of the expected standards and can highly recommend Bridge View.
My mum was only in Bridge View House Care Home for three weeks but the care was exemplary. The staff were very caring of my mum and the rest of the family in the days before she passed away. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to spend as much time as we wanted with Mum. The standard of care was very high. Having worked many homes myself, it was the hardest decision ever but Bridge View House was an excellent choice.
Amazing staff, so friendly and caring, I love visiting and seeing all the happy faces of everyone there including the residents and staff. so much love and care is put into the work and I appreciate all the hard work!
My granny has been staying with the Bridge View family for nearly two years now. The care and support she gets from the management/staff is amazing! They support her dementia in every way they can. The activities they provide are amazing! Always have something on to suit each person and to make them feel special on special occasions.
I have found the transition for Mum to be incredibly straightforward and the communication to be excellent. Mum settled so quickly and is so happy. The staff, without exception, are all so kind, caring and respectful. All requests are dealt with extremely promptly. Residents are treated as individuals and their needs are met as such. Dedicated staff and management, make this care home exceptional. Thank you.
My mother spent the last four months of her life in Bridge View and I cannot thank the staff enough for her care. She settled in well and enjoyed several months before she, unfortunately, passed away. She was happy and extremely well-fed. All the staff were friendly and cared for her every need. Any communication with the family was always dealt with quickly and there was never any issues regarding her care. It is always difficult having to place a family member in care, no matter the circumstances, but the staff at Bridge View helped the whole family adjust to my mother being in a care home.
I previously left a review but feel I want to send a further review as unfortunately my Mum recently passed. The staff at Bridge View House Care Home could not have been more helpful. I want to say a huge “Thank You” to all the staff who cared for my Mum. Especially those who ‘fluffed’ her pillows. They will know who they are as she was very particular about her pillows. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care they gave Mum during her final days. She had her favourites, I know I’m not allowed to name individuals, but I can honestly say the care she was given made me feel she was comfortable at all times. They were also always there for me, even a cuddle when required.
My husband was in Bridge View care home for 8 weeks of respite care. He was given the very best care from every member of staff, everyone was kind, caring and very professional. There was a lovely Jubilee afternoon tea garden party and it was excellent and very well attended. The kitchen staff went all out, as did the nurses and carers. My husband's health improved rapidly in their care and we will always be grateful, and thankful, for his respite care at Bridgeview.
My one-hundred-year-old mother-in-law is extremely well looked after by all the staff at Bridge View. I worried she may not settle as she loved her independence but she really loves all her carers who all treat her like a friend and with great dignity. She enjoys attending parties in the lounge and always looks so well in the photos of the activities.
I am happy with the care my gran is receiving. She is very happy here and the staff are really friendly and kind. My gran is liking it here.
