Mum enjoyed her respite stay at Fleet Hall during what was a difficult time for the family - it truly felt like a warm hug. From the moment I walked in the home the staff were fantastic, they greeted you with genuine smiles and made you feel instantly at ease. Everyone was attentive, patient and
treated mum with the utmost respect.
The food was delicious albeit it too much , mum's complaint ! plenty of options to choose from . Mum loved or rather her great granddaughters loved the cafe , even thought they are only 5 and 7 they were made very welcome every time.
The activities were varied ranging from gentle exercises to cooking and craft sessions and despite my mums blindness she was always made welcome and included.
Overall Fleet Hall gave my mum a comfortable ,caring, supportive space for 4 weeks and when the need arises I will definitely seek out a room for her again

It was a stressful time for my husband to take Respite as he had just come out of hospital but felt "at home" straight away which was a relief for all our family.
Everyone who visited my husband was impressed with the home and the care from the staff.

My grandmother stayed here for 2 weeks in August for respite care whilst I was abroad. She has stayed previously here and there but the name of the building/ management has changed over the years. However the derive and amenities were still spot on. She had the best time and I didn't have to worry
at all whilst I was away. It's honestly like a little holiday and just really lovely to have some peace of mind for everyone. Would happily recommend to anyone I know.

Dad moved in following a slight decline in memory. Having looked at a few local care homes, Fleet Hall stood out for it's very high quality room (recently refurbished), lovely caring staff, great food and good focus on keeping the residents engaged in a variety of activities, both within and away
from the home. The home is conveniently located within Fleet town centre but has good sized and peaceful grounds to enjoy. Dad is only 3 weeks in but is starting to settle after an understandable unsettling transition from home to care home - but the staff have been very good in helping him through this initial period. I am confident that he will fully settle in time and enjoy what the home has to offer.

I moved here from Avery Bagshot to be nearer my family and walking distance to the shops. Moving into Fleet Hall has been like moving back home and I have a wonderful room. Through my recent diagnosis the whole team have been very supportive and caring.

My mother was resident at Fleet Hall in the Dementia unit for very nearly 2 years. During that time, she received excellent care. She had a lovely room where she was able to bring all her own pictures and ornaments from home. As her illness progressed and she became more confused and eventually
lost her mobility, the levels of care and attention were marvellous. In my view, the biggest asset of Fleet Hall is the compassionate staff team who looked after her so well despite my mother sometimes being challenging. When my mother entered into the 'end of life' phase they were wonderful and carried me through that particularly difficult time. I would absolutely recommend Fleet Hall to anyone navigating the difficult journey of dementia.

My mother had been in hospital for a while and I needed help my dad find a care home for mum with specific requirements. Unfortunately the first home didn't work to mums needs. Fleet Hall had an opening, dad and I visited there and were met with absolute professionalism by the client liaison manager
and team. After a couple of days they were able to transfer mum from the hospital to Fleet Hall. From there the experience has been truly great. All the personnel and managers are wonderful. I receive very good consistent communication about mum. Moreover dad visits mum at the facility pretty much daily and they care and demonstrate so much empathy for him too.
Thanks to Fleet Hall.

We were looking for somewhere that was safe and provided my sister in law with the extended family she needed.
Since being at Fleet Hall she has joined in and had daily focus. Everyone has made her feel so welcome that she looks the most relaxed we have seen her! She laughs and joins in.
We are
eternally grateful for the seamless care and attention she receives.

My sister & I are so grateful to Fleet Care Home for having an available room for our father, at short notice following the death of our mum, who was his carer, as he has Dementia. The staff have been excellent, so caring and attentive towards our dad and excellent at settling him in and
introducing him to other residents and including him on the various activities. We are sure he will be very happy at Fleet Care home. With him being there my sister and I know he is being well taken care of and safe.

My parents leaving their home of 40 years was not expected to be an easy time. I am absolutely delighted in the warm welcome they received from everybody at Fleet Hall as it made the transition so easy and successful beyond my wildest expectations. They have both flourished in the 3 weeks they have
been at Fleet Hall and everybody truly treating them with dignity and respect has made them really happy. They have already moved on with their new lives so much so that they now see Fleet Hall as their new real home. A big thank you to everybody at Fleet Hall for delivering what I thought would be impossible in such a very short time.

Having dismissed two previous care homes my daughter and myself arrived at Fleet Hall and were immediately taken by the feeling of space and general layout of the ground floor. However, as lovely as the building is this was not the important aspect that we were looking for. As we were shown round
the building, we both watched carefully how the staff interacted with the residents. This was all that we hoped for. All of the staff interacted with the residents with care, friendliness and affection. It was very difficult for me to recognise that the time had come for me to put my wife in a care home and this must have been obvious to the staff who showed us around. They were so understanding and showed me the same care and attention that they have continued to show my wife. Whilst it has been hard for me, I know that I have left my wife in the hands of the best people possible. I can now relax for the first time in years knowing she will be looked after and cared for. Thank you.

My mother has been in Fleet Hall since May 2022 and is completely settled. She has always been reticent to meet new people due to her autism but with the constant attention and having a small group on the Jubilee floor, she feels comfortable with the other residents. She is always undertaking some
new craft project, helping with gardening when the weather is nice and enjoying trips out. The change in her wellbeing and physical health is quite remarkable and she often mentions the kindness, patience and caring nature of the staff when talking to me.

As a regular volunteer at Fleet Hall, I have spent plenty of time talking to residents and I must say that I have rarely ever heard any of them complain about the quality of service at Fleet Hall. They speak highly of the carers, activities staff and concierge team and appear to really enjoy the
events on offer. I have noticed that the different departments, particularly the carers are often understaffed but are always working hard to provide the best quality of care. The staff and residents are all lovely and the care home has an amazing warm atmosphere about it.

My mother moved into Fleet Hall in December 2024. She had previously been visiting the home on a weekly basis to join in activities and this made the move much easier as she had got to know a lot of the staff and was able to pick and reserve a lovely room. Myself and other members of the family and
friends are always given a lovely welcome when we visit.

We are very pleased to know that our mother is comfortable and well cared for at Fleet Hall, especially on Jubilee Floor. As a family, we believe good care is central to her well being and we are delighted that she is receiving plenty of this. Please would you pass on our thanks to all members of
staff for their care and kindness, not only to our mother but to all family members when we visit. We feel very welcome and it is lovely to see such a happy team who obviously enjoy their work and the care they show to all residents no matter what time of day.

Since my father has been at Fleet Hall there has been marked improvement of his overall health. He is a lot happier. All the staff at Fleet Hall have always made me feel welcome. I would like to say thank you to all the staff.

Our experience of visiting, electronic communication and interacting with the residents and staff at Fleet Hall - Avery care home in our consideration of it for mum has been an absolute delight. The staff are professional, warm and available at all times. They completed their assessment of mum
extremely quickly and have guided us through the practicalities of funding, moving her in and, now that mum is a resident, are keeping us informed of her interaction with other residents, staff and the activities. I highly recommend this care home to anyone who is considering a residential care home for their loved one. We are thrilled to have found a place where mum will be cared for comprehensively for the rest of her life, where there is ample support for the shifting realities that vascular dementia presents. Thank you Fleet Hall - Avery!

I come to the home on a regular basis as a volunteer. I chat quite candidly with the residents and they often tell me their concerns, so I do know that it is not perfect. In general the care staff are all friendly, kind and overworked. The entertainment staff are very caring and a joy to know, they
are so inventive with the things they do for the residents.
In my time there I have noticed cuts and changes, which are the obvious signs of it being a business. The residents seem happy on the whole and the home is clean and tidy and their rooms are nice.

On entering the home it is obvious that Fleet Hall is very upmarket with its chandelier and grand piano in the entrance The reception area was manned by a friendly well presented lady. We were shown the room that was to be ' home' for the next couple of weeks. We knew that it would be a shared
bathroom and that wasn't entirely successful, my cousin didn't have a shower for the full two weeks we only found that out the day before she was leaving. One thing she was not too keen on was that there was only a call button in the rooms and no panic button on a lanyard. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and there were many of them. On the whole the experience was worthwhile and enjoyable.

The staff at Fleet Hall were great in helping to move dad out of hospital and into Fleet Hall. They communicated well with family members so everyone was kept up to date and involved in the whole process. This took away any anxiety and dad had a smooth transition into Fleet Hall. All the staff have
been friendly, helpful and caring. After 4 weeks of hospital gowns and lying in bed it has been wonderful to see him shaved, dressed, sitting in a wheelchair and starting to engage in life again. Dad enjoys the meals so is eating well and will hopefully regain the weight he's lost. But best of all Fleet Hall have managed to work it so dad is back with his wife of 65 years and they can continue to grow old together. Thank you.
