Ashbrook Court is a great care home, my brother has been a resident since January 2025. All the staff, carers, admin and management have been great with my brother, cannot do enough for his him and his everyday needs, very reassuring for our family to know he's getting the best care.
My mother moved to Ashbrook Court following multiple medical issues , including a massive stroke, the staff were extremely welcoming and reassuring during this time of adjustment for us all, the medical care she has received is outstanding, the nursing staff are all excellent and always make time for us to explain anything or answer questions we have And consequently my mother has been kept well, happy and comfortable We can now rest knowing she is being so well cared for This alongside the outstanding care staff who look after her, always with a smile for her and us . i can't fault them!!
Any problems are dealt with expeditiously. The staff are very caring of individual needs. The residents are well looked after, although some of the bedrooms and the communal rooms need redecoration and updating
As always the staff very caring and look after my mothers needs perfectly. I along with my sister and brother can sleep at night knowing mum is being looked after and checked on regular. The nurses always inform us on any change to mother .
Excellent care home. Staff and Carers are always welcoming and respectful. As with anywhere there are always one or two things that could be griped about but ultimately I 100% feel confident that my dad is well looked after and cared for. Most importantly, he is treated with respect and the carers and staff make every effort to ensure he is comfortable and happy.
My mothers experience was not good. Following an assessment by social services, they said that interim care was a good idea and stated that Ashbrook House confirmed that they had availability. Obviously we were anxious for mum to be in a safer in environment, however it took nearly 2 weeks for them to assess and admit her. When she arrived there she was placed in a terrible environment for her, with poor dementia patients wandering around when my mother has fully capacity. On this wing, she had strangers wandering into her 'private' room, there was loud music blaring in the corridors. She wasn't allowed to chose her own outfits, and finally, she didn't like the food. Trying to contact my mother here was very problematic, very often excuses were made, and on one occasion I was connected to a stranger. Finally we transferred mum out of here, she had no discharge papers and they had 'binned' her prescription meds, leaving her without necessary medication for 24 hours.
I cannot fault anything to date. Staff were supportive whilst viewing and amazing when we brought him in. They have kept us updated and nothing is too much trouble Dad has settled in well and seems happy and always says how lovely everyone is. A very difficult time for us as a family but we know Dad is safe and sound. Thank you
We are extremely happy with this home and would recommend you put your loved ones in here staff are all caring and lovely. The entertainment for residents is excellent, everyones birthday is celebrated with a party. There are regular outings. All the carers are kind and caring to residents it is clean and friendly. It's amazing they keep you in touch if anything happens to your loved one.

Lunch (this is the Main Meal we see during our visits) looks delicious. Support staff - hairdresser, maintenance, housekeeping, activities all fantastic. Nurses, always about to answer questions.

I am very happy with the care that Ashbrooks Court give my partner. All the staff are very kind and considerate to residents and always have a smile. They are also very supportive when it comes to the residents' families.
I'm really happy my mum is in this home the staff are attentive and caring. Everyone is happy to see you and the management are very accessible. My mum has dementia and doesn't really know me anymore, my visits are sad now but the staff are very reassuring. Everyone works hard to look after our loved ones. Thank you. I would recommend this home to anyone.
My mum moved into Ashbrook Court in November this year after a bad experience in a previous care home. I can say so far all the staff and the manager have been amazing. My mum looks very well cared for and is very comfortable in her lovely room. All the staff work extremely hard looking after all the residents and we as a family very much appreciate the care and kindness our mum is receiving.
I honestly can't speak highly enough of the staff and management of Ashbrook Court. From the warm welcome on arrival to the in-depth social, emotional and medical support given to all residents. My close friend has lived in other care homes before Ashbrook Court but I'm so glad we moved her here. Her needs have been 100% met with consideration and care. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful care home.
An outstanding care home, with lovely caring staff from not only the nurses but right through to the activity staff, carers, office staff and cleaners, all very lovely people. I am so pleased I chose Ashbrook, I can relax knowing my darling father is being looked after so well and treated with love, care, respect and dignity and get constant updates. If anyone is considering the prospect of having to place their loved one in care, this is the one.
The care home is well run by the management staff, nurses and care support staff under the manager. The standard of food is good and a variety of different dishes is offered to the residents. A good variety of activities is offered and special days like birthdays of residents are celebrated. Overall the care staff from the management downwards really care for the residents and make them as comfortable as possible and cater for the resident's needs. The whole decor of the building, rooms and utilities are designed to make the residents feel at home and to cheer them up.
My friend/neighbour was bought into Ashbrook Court in February and since then has not only improved in her general health but has settled down nicely. The staff are very kind and caring and keep us informed at all times. I would definitely recommend Ashbrook Court.
Very happy with Ashbrook Court Care Home but there are a few things that could be a little better. My mum's room could do with a good freshen-up. The flooring in her room is a bit grubby. The food could do with a change with good old-fashioned food like shepherd's pie, cottage pie, sausages mash and so on. I know I ask for ham egg and chips for my mum but not every day and not to give her salad in the wintertime.
I used the service for the first time on a week respite for my husband. My experience - welcome environment, staff friendly and approachable. My husband was relaxed and showed no sign of anxiety in my presence. If I had concerns and asked, no problem getting clarification.
