View Full Details of Kingston Court Care HomeTo everyone at Kingston Court, thank you all so much for the support and care use give my Brother John, it is second to none, also for the support use give me when I visit. Nothing is ever too much trouble for us. Always going the extra mile to provide help. Again, for the office staff, reception and everyone involved at Kingston Court, I thank you.
Excellent nursing home very clean and great care given. Staff very attentive and go above and beyond, access to see relative at any time of day or night. My mother in law died on 08.10.25 and night nurse was so caring and handled with professionalism.
Kingston court needs to up its standards to justify the cost. Clothes going missing, personal items missing, the staff can only do so much but they are so understaffed it's ridiculous. They are taking care of the residents but it's just basic care due to lack of personnel on the floor. The food provided is basic, and management haven't a clue as to what's going on in the home.
Initial visit, appeared to be good, reality proved different - all aspects of care were poor Food was invariably served cold and dad was unable to identify what he was eating - for example a grey cold splodge was supposedly mince. You lost his clothes and left him to sit in boxer shorts. His room was dirty and suffocatingly hot. His dressings were not changed in the 5 days he was in the home. One male carer was particularly rough. One carer had to be spoken to by dad in her own language, as her grasp of English was so poor. The final day dad was there you gave him no pain relief whatsoever as the home had run out of paracetamol, a basic medication! You lied about changing his catheter - it didn't happen. Dad's Controlled Drugs were not sent on to his new home and I had to travel back to collect them with no appropriate control. Dad, on leaving said of the home "Good Riddance" - he never swears but a heartfelt opinion of your poor care. I would NEVER recommend sending a relative here.
I have found all the staff to be most friendly, kind, thoughtful, polite and very professional. I am also impressed by the way they care so genuinely for Bob. I would like to thank them so much for their support. My friend is very happy and he likes them all. Thanks again.
My aunt is well settled, and seems to have adapted to the surroundings which is a comfortable/relief to the family.
For the short time my father was in Kingston Court, I can say I have nothing but praise. From looking around and speaking to the manager you could tell she was very passionate about the home and wanted the very best for the residents and staff. My father was well looked after and staff were always polite and helpful. Sadly my father passed away during this time we were greeted with compassion and empathy. Many thanks to all the staff.
I have found all the staff to be very friendly, polite, caring and professional. Thank you all so much for looking after our good friend.
The care and attention that has been given to my husband is excellent. The staff go out of their way to care for him, and make sure he has everything he needs. Nothing is too much trouble to them. Nursing staff care is excellent and there is always someone around to speak with if we need assurance about anything. Cannot praise them enough. Thank you to everyone.
Kingston Court Care Home gave my mum excellent care. The home felt clean and fresh when I walked in and her room was really lovely. The staff were all so polite and courteous and I could not fault the care given to my mum. Because the staff have a hard job it would be nice not for them to be in a small cupboard as an office. They had no air or light! To look after our relatives your staff need a decent office.
I find the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. They look after my sister to the best of their ability and as long as she is happy, then I'm happy. I'm hoping a wheelchair that suits my sister's needs will be provided to her and I'm sure they will do their best to do that for her so I can take her out. My sister loves where she is, the staff often pop in to say hi and check she's ok. My sister is bedridden so she can't be included in activities.
I would just like to thank all the staff who work at Kingston Court Care Home. All the staff are so welcoming and give great care and attention and love towards my dad. Also all the staff are amazing with me. I live in East Yorkshire. When I can't be in to visit Dad, I ring the home every day to ask how he is. They tell me and then tell my dad I have rung. So thank you all so very much for everything that you do. xxxx
My wife and I have made approximately ten visits, during which we have encountered many different members of staff. Without a single exception, they have been very kind, helpful and empathetic. For example, on our very first visit, we were shown how to sign in and then we were escorted to the door of the resident's room as opposed to being told where it was (which would have been OK but this was taking extra care of us). The staff seem genuinely happy to be working there and nothing is too much trouble, even when they're busy. The building is very well maintained and the ambience is very pleasant indeed, especially the quiet coffee corner. Inevitably, car parking is a nightmare but we quickly learned that leaving the car on Newtown Road or Granville Road is a good option and a very short walk. In summary, probably the best place of its type that we have ever known.
Excellent care, compassion, understanding of Fathers needs and good communication as I live 300 miles away.
Had a good visit with my friend today, she was happy with her valentine rose. We were expecting two pairs of glasses from an optician, she says she hasn't got? She has her ups and downs with her mental health, and her other health problems.
Kind, courteous staff eager to help and escorted to the room my friend occupied. As this was my 1st visit I am unable to complete the questionnaire as the food was not served during my stay.
I found the home very clean and bright. Staff are very helpful. My friend is very happy and comfortable. All in all, this seems a very happy atmosphere.
My dad has been in Kingston Court for a couple of weeks and as his son I can give nothing but praise for all parts in reference to his care at Kingston Court.
My grandma was recently moved to Kingston Court for end-of-life care. The staff have all been amazing and so kind and supportive to not only my grandma but to my siblings and I, who were with grandma during her final days. The care staff kept checking up on me and giving me cuddles and making sure I was kept informed and always offered a warm drink and biscuit. Their empathy and genuine compassion was so clear to see; they are all an excellent example of how care staff and nurses should be and wonderful ambassadors of Kingston Court. Lovely, clean facilities that feel very homely and well maintained.
From our initial visit, we were impressed with not only the building but more importantly the staff. The kindness, compassion and efficiency of all the staff was excellent. As a family, we feel that we were being cared for as much as our relation. The respect shown to my mum was wonderful even though she was unable to respond to anyone.
