My wife has been staying at Ashley Gardens for the last 3 months and is very happy there. The nursing care is extremely good, nothing is too much trouble for when she needs help etc. All the carers and staff are so kind and will go the extra mile to look after her. I can't thank the care team enough
for the service they provide to keep her safe.

The team are Ashley Gardens are ALL amazing. The love and care they give my father is genuine. From the carers, cleaners, laundry, maintenance, nursing staff, activities team, kitchen, to the admin and management. They all pull together as a team.
The management have open door policy so you can
always approach them with anything you need.
Feel so very fortunate Dad is with you, thank you

I have found the staff here extremely caring and attentive when speaking and helping both myself and by bedbound husband, who is not always as polite as he could be. The food is very varied and the care assistances are prompt and courteous when my husband rings for assistance. The staff are hard
working and enthusiastic, and I feel that this good value for money. Excellent all round.

I am a resident here and cannot fault the care and assistance I have received from a very professional team of care staff. It seems that nothing is too much trouble, and I never think twice to ask for help if I need it. I am happy and content. Thanks very much.

Mum has been a resident at Ashley Gardens Care home since Nov 2024.
She is well cared for with her needs being met through regular updates to her care plan .
We feel that we have a very good relationship with the new manager and her staff at all levels. They are approachable, engaging with us on
a regular basis. We have found the staff to be courteous, caring and respectful to both residents and their families.
The enrichment activities are varied and are clearly enjoyed by the residents as can be seen via the social media platform. Our son and daughter in law visited over Christmas and commented on how welcoming and friendly everyone was.

Lovely place. Both my neighbours were in the home and the care they receive is amazing.
I visit regularly and all staff is very supportive. Manager went above and beyond to help.

Mum was very happy and settled at Ashley Gardens and it felt like she really lived a life here following a couple of years of illness and the onset of dementia.
The staff here are wonderful and the activities provided are varied and excellent. I especially loved seeing the wonderful photos taken
of Mum taking part in these activities on the home's private social media group. The healthcare provided is second to none with regular involvement and input from the family. Mum was always treated with respect and dignity but the staff always seemed to make things fun and easy.
Towards the end of Mum's life the staff did all they could to take care of her and make her comfortable. The family were also very well supported throughout.
I would like to thank everyone at Ashley Gardens sincerely, for making Mum and the family feel at home and for enabling Mum to live a joyful and fulfilling life, to the end.

We would like to thank all the staff for the loving care my sister in law received in the short time she was with you. Especially over her last few days. My other sister in law and niece felt truly supported by you all at her passing. May God bless you all. Our heartfelt thanks.

Somehow, the staff enabled my mother to get back onto her feet and got her eating and drinking again. She returned, with their help, to more like her old self and by putting a bookcase in her room, encouraged her to read again. She was looked after with great care and compassion for her end of life
care. They were brilliant, doing all they could to keep her comfortable and supported me through it. Thank you.

My mum, has been a resident at Ashley Gardens Care Home for a year now, the staff are lovely and always asking if my mum needs anything. The ladies that arrange the entertainment for the residents are amazing. They have singers which my mum loves to sing a long and dance too. They have animals come
in so they can hold or stroke them. They have cupcake making and Bingo and painting and flower arranging. My mum likes this especially, as she has always enjoyed being amongst friends and going and doing things. So they'res a massive thank you to them for everything that they do. My mum's room is always clean and tidy. And her clothes washed and back in her wardrobe. At one time my dad was at Ashley Gardens Care Home with my mum as a resident. My sister and I looked at different care homes, but Ashley Gardens Care Home came 1st all of the time. I hope that this review might help a family who's family member is coming to a residential care home and would like to hear about it.

My mother has advanced Alzheimer's and was in need of a safe and welcoming place to call home. I feel we have been blessed. Mum moved in mid June, 2025 to a warm reception. The staff knew her name on arrival and were full of enthusiasm and encouragement. It was a difficult decision but the best
decision for mum. During the week there are activities and events, food looks delicious, with lots of treats and snacks. Mum is gaining back some much needed weight. The staff are reassuring with all of us as mum is adjusting to her new home. I feel confident it's been the best decision for mum, she's safe, clean, cared for, experiencing new things which brighten her days. I live overseas so enjoy the social media posts and the daily updates.

A warm, friendly home- Mum is much more calm and looks so much better since moving in.
Being Italian food has been a passion-we were able to bring some home cooked pasta which was great.
The team clearly, really care about the residents and their welfare. Thank you to you all.

Lovely home staff treat residents very well couldn't ask for any better enjoy visiting as feel very welcome there.
Mum settled in very well been there nearly a year now and we as a family are happy that she is happy and every need is cared for.
She is always clean and well dressed and breakfast
dinner and tea are regular times and food is good.
I would like to thank all the staff who look after her they work very hard to keep everyday happy for her the entertainment is first class something going on most days and enjoy seeing her on social media pages, would definitely recommend.

My nan is currently in this care home and am very happy with the care she gets they seem to go out of there way to have plenty of entertainment and make you feel very welcome when visiting staff always seem to be happy and are friendly would recommend

When we visited my wife the staff were very friendly with us and she looked very happy. She eats all of her food which is very good because in the other home she would not eat so I know she is happy. I live in London so I can not go and see her as much as I would like but I know she is being looked
after very well, so thank you very much for that and a Happy New Year to you all from all the family.

My sister who is end-of-life is very well looked after. Bathed every day and has cream put all over her body. She is moved in the bed regularly so as to avoid bed sores. Communication between staff is excellent. Cleaning in the room is of a high standard.

I visit my auntie once a week and have found the staff very caring. The rooms are very clean and the dining area is lovely. I go to her room to get her a drink and find it is very clean. I cannot find any faults in the areas that I have seen.

Excellent caring staff from all departments, with options of additional activities weekly, meal variety and dietary needs very good. The attention to individual care requirements needed for a homely type stay and the special little cat that visits the communal gardens daily.

The current manager has achieved good results relating to staffing levels, better practices of staff and recognising weak areas. Thus CQC result of Good overall. Responsibility and hard-working team hopefully will continue with the new manager. Aesthetic improvements have resulted in a far more
pleasant environment. Progressive plans for 2025 are welcome. The job is always changing and all areas will need monitoring. Catering is very good. Activities, cleanliness and laundry are very good. The reception is welcoming.
