View Full Details of Chaseley House Rest HomeUnder new management from July 2022. The company called TLC, in our family's opinion, is inappropriately named as very little was shown during our Fathers stay. They used the emergency 999 call to move him out permanently whilst he had an infection in his toes and was suffering with Covid, which was contracted while living in their home. A review carried out 1 week prior, highlighted no issues. He was extremely upset, about the way he was treated as was our family. Would recommend looking elsewhere for your care as little TLC to be found at Chaseley House.
I feel privileged to say that my lovely mum is a resident at Chaseley House Rest Home. The owner and her staff have made the transition from her own home to rest home a very positive experience for Mum and me. Her room is full of family pictures and treasured ornaments to make her feel at home. When I visit, Mum is always beautifully turned out, raves over the food and tells me about the latest entertainment. Mum clearly loves the owner and her girls! Mum has always been a smart lady and a social butterfly, who now has the opportunity to continue her life to the full but with my knowledge that she is safe, happy and highly respected by the owner and her staff. Chaseley House feels like a home, is spotlessly clean and beautifully presented and the grounds are fabulous.
My nana has recently moved into Chaseley House Rest Home and we can not be more thankful for how lovely the staff have been treating her to help her settle in. They have worked so hard to ensure a smooth transition for her into her new home. We cannot recommend this home more, we know our family is well cared for here.
My father was admitted in May 2021 following a lengthy hospitalisation. He told me he wishes he had moved in years ago as he feels so comfortable and secure within the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of this lovely care home. When my sister and I were researching for a good home, I was strongly advised by one of the welfare rights team to grab a room that had just become available, telling me they were like gold dust. I'm so relieved we did! The care, consideration and support given to him are absolutely first-class. As a family, we can sleep at night rest assured that he is being well looked after. I feel the proprietors and all their caring staff should be commended for working so tirelessly throughout this awful pandemic and successfully protecting all their residents in maintaining Chaseley House Rest Home a Covid-19 free zone.
The staff at Chaseley House Rest Home are amazing. A lady I support through my work had her 101st birthday recently and they pulled out all the stops to ensure she had a lovely day with balloons, personalised banners and bubbles! This lady does not have any family so to see her being so cared for and made to feel special on her big day was heartwarming. Although it is not a surprise, Chaseley House is such a lovely, caring home and the staff are always very professional and supportive.
Always consistent. My mother was admitted in July 2021. We visit according to Covid regulations. Every member of staff has the same caring attitude, practical and a great sense of humour. The only reason I mark activities as satisfactory is because Covid is restrictive, and every resident is of an age that is difficult to get a positive response to stimulation.
More than happy to be here.
The staff at Chaseley House are kind and considerate and have worked so hard to keep the residents safe during this awful pandemic, making personal sacrifices to commit to their caring roles. My dad is happy there and is looked after so well and treated with respect in a happy, friendly environment. The home is beautifully kept and sunny and bright and is in a lovely location. I would happily recommend this lovely home to everyone needing help to look after a loved one. Thanks so much Chaseley House.
My mother has been in Chaseley House Rest Home for some weeks now and has settled there very well. The staff are very kind and reassuring to me as a relative and to my mother too. The food is very good and the care is excellent. She is very happy with her room also.
My mother has lived in Chaseley house for over 2 years and is very happy, the wonderful staff go out of their way to provide for her every need. Mum has not long since celebrated her 101st birthday and unfortunately due to Covid restrictions family visits were unable to take place inside, but the owner went out of her way to arrange window visits for the family and take photographs, all the staff made it a very happy and special day for her. The staff at Chaseley are professional, kind and friendly. We are lucky that mum is being kept safe in such good hands. Thank you to everyone at Chaseley for everything you do to make it a home from home.
The love, care and attention my mother-in-law has received from all the staff at Chaseley House has been second to none. It is such a comfort to her family to know she is so well cared for. I cannot recommend Chaseley House enough.
My mother moved into Chaseley House on 30.03.2021 and I only had a virtual tour prior to this but was very impressed with help and assistance of owner/manager. My mother has settled in very quickly and feels very comfortable and was able to bring a lot of personal items from her home. My mother talks about the staff to me when I phone her and says they are all nice and does not feel a burden. They also cater for her vegetarian diet with lots of variety. When I have my weekly visit behind a screen to keep my mum safe, all staff are welcoming and helpful. I have not marked a tick for activities as due to the virus everything cancelled. If my mum is happy it is a big weight off my shoulders!
My friend went into Chaseley House just before the first lockdown and what a wonderful place it is. Praise must go not only to the owners but to all the hard-working and dedicated staff at Chaseley. My friend is settled, happy and contented and could not be in better hands. All the staff are pleasant and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble, which puts me at ease as visits have not been possible due to the pandemic and living many miles away. The Covid safe precautions put in place by the owners have been excellent and communication between the home and myself has been first class, informing me of plans and Covid precautions every step of the way. Other friends and family members and I are very grateful to all the staff who treat my friend with respect and dignity, making for one happy elderly friend. Thank you all so much for the care, empathy and affection that runs throughout this lovely home.
Chaseley House is a first-class care home in every sense of the word. 'Care' is what they do so well. It is so well run and professional by the proprietors. As soon as you come in you are made so welcome and it feels so homely. The staff see to everyone's needs. They are always ready to listen, full of caring skills. So well looked after - a delight to be a resident.
The staff and owners of Chaseley House have been outstanding in caring for all our relatives in the home, both before and during the current pandemic. We couldn't have chosen a better care environment for our aunt!
A quick message to say thank you to you and your staff for accommodating phone calls, especially to the manager for the WhatsApp calls on special days and also to the staff who answer the phone so cheerfully. Yesterday staff happily acceded to my request for my mother to receive my call in her bedroom, walking her there and settling her into her chair. What I didn’t tell her was that being Sunday evening, I wanted to say evening prayers with her and so didn’t want to disturb other residents in one of the lounges. Mother really appreciated the opportunity to pray, as you know how much she has missed not being able to go to church during lockdown. Keep up the sterling work!
I regularly praise this fantastic home for their continuous care, love and support for my 86-year-old mother who is in her element living here following the death of my father five years ago which resulted in her being unable to live on her own. The reason for this particular review is to convey my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to both management and staff for the truly fantastic and diligent way they've managed the current Covid-19 situation. As a family, we really couldn't have expected more from this lovely home, which has provided us with peace of mind and, more importantly, the realisation that we chose the absolute best home for my mother. Staff and residents are all tested weekly and, from the offset, full PPE has been provided for staff as well as them having to adhere to strict hygiene rules. Management has constantly updated and reassured families on weekly Covid test results and have kept both their residents and staff's morale up during this pandemic. Thank you.
My late nan recently passed away while residing at Chaseley House and her death certificate stated 'Old Age' as the cause of death. She was 102. Nan moved in to Chaseley when she was 99 and she simply blossomed while residing there. She put on some much needed weight with the fantastic meals they served, she was waited on hand and foot and it was a weight off my mind her being in Wales and me being in Liverpool. During the pandemic, they kept me up to date - weekly - with Covid tests (every single one was negative) and I had complete peace of mind with Nan being in a secure location. Even at the end of her life, she was still active only a month before she passed away. I cannot recommend Chaseley House highly enough - they are fantastic and a very secure and spotlessly clean place to go. A lovely place, kind staff and complete peace of mind!
The owner and staff have been extremely supportive of us as a family as my mother moved into Chaseley House during the pandemic. Everything possible has been done during the moving in period to keep everyone safe. Today we were able to have a visit with my mum indoors in a room with an internal partition and a hearing loop. So much effort had been put into making the room homely and festive. This was highly effective and very much appreciated. Thank you.
My mother-in-law has been living at Chaseley House for 18 months and is extremely happy. Her individual needs are very much taken into account and she feels safe knowing the caring staff are there for her day or night to help with anything at all she should need. It must be a challenging time for the managers and staff to work with the restrictions which have been so critical to adhere to during this pandemic, but they have coped admirably, keeping everyone safe and keeping all relatives updated on testing and the latest guidelines. I would not hesitate to recommend Chaseley House. It is a home from home with the most professional and caring staff.
