Mosswood Care Home looks after my mother very well. The staff are all kind, caring, professional and very friendly. My mother is very settled there. There is always something going on, and the staff are very attentive to her when she is in her room, too.

My aunt has been in Mosswood since December 2024 ie 6 months. She has settled there better than we expected. She has a lovely room with a door out onto the central courtyard. She enjoys the food and has put on weight. At first she wasn't eating all of her food but the portion sizes were adjusted
to suit her. The staff are very attentive and caring. Both the nurses and the carers work very hard at their jobs. My aunt is still physically able to do a lot for herself so they have to be quick in the morning to make sure she has her shower before she gets dressed. My aunt also loves the weekly art class. She is encouraged but not forced to take part in the many activities. Her room and the whole place are kept very clean. And, best of all, the dog is not just allowed to visit but positively encouraged.

Dad has been in Mosswood for almost 5 years. The best decision we made to keep him safe , secure and well looked after.
Activities are a plenty and Dad has been kept busy as head Gardener, Paper Boy and Codriver of the mini bus. !
he enjoys the visits from local schoolchildren and is enthralled
with their use of technology ! he also likes his visits to and from the local church.
The care home staff are well read on his needs and work with him and us to manage any challenges he faces.
The best decision we made and look forward to the continued support from staff and other health professionals who visit him at the home.

The management, nurses, carers, cleaners, catering team are all so caring and look after my mother-in-law to the highest standard. There is always some activities arranged to ensure that all the residents are kept active and included.

My dad has been in Mosswood for almost five years now and it's safe to say he's living his best life!
All of the care staff are excellent with him and having gotten to know him well understand what he needs and how best to work with him, and us, to make sure he has a full and enriched life in the
home.
There's always something on in Gryffe and the wider home that makes sure the Groundhog Day feeling is kept at bay.
The catering is to his liking and (even as a moaner) he's never once complained about choice or quality - in fact we've had to put him on small portions as he was gaining weight.
I would have no hesitation recommending Mosswood as a safe and caring place for loved ones.

My mum has been a resident at Mosswood for seven years and has received a very high level of care for all that time. The staff, carers, nurses and all support staff are invariably professional and friendly.

My experience of Mosswood care home is very positive. The staff have always been professional, friendly and welcoming. That includes all the staff: cleaners, cooks, support staff nurses, and front of house staff.

I think Mosswood Care Home is an excellent place for my brother. The staff are fantastic and he thinks so too. There is always something going on for the residents and in my opinion they are very well looked after.

I have every confidence in the care the staff provide my mum. She has been here for over 5 years and I cannot fault the care home at all. The staff go above and beyond for all the residents and know their every needs.

On bringing my cousin from a hospital in Blairgowrie on the few weeks he has been a resident I see an improvement. He looks cared for although he can't communicate due to his Parkinson Disease and his mental capacity

Absolutely excellent, service has been great and everyone is friendly. Always clean and tidy and residents well cared for. The food is always nice, activities are a constant. The communal areas and bedrooms are also kept clean at all times.

I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of my friend's care home. Activities are well organised, visits from local schools are great. The staff are always extremely welcoming and have an obviously good relationship with my friend. The physical environment is excellent and compare extremely
favourably to other care homes I've visited.

As a retired NHS community based physiotherapist with 35 years experience of visiting my patients in all types of residential environment I am well qualified to comment on the care provided by Mosswood.
The building itself is well thought out and well designed and is purpose built for residents
with a variety of care needs.
All staff who I have interacted with directly and those who I have observed interacting with residents have demonstrated a high level of care and devotion. Each and every member of the nursing and non nursing staff have been welcoming and kind and have helped create such a caring environment.
Management have obviously put together a caring and loving team and every one of the team should be congratulated on what they are striving to create.
Mosswood is one of the very best care homes that I have ever visited and it should be used as a template for all care homes.

Mum has been a resident at Mosswood Care Home for over two years. The staff welcome at the beginning was excellent and she made this her new home. Her care has always been outstanding, she is treated with love and always put at the centre of all decisions. She has come to see many staff as an
extension of her own family. We cannot praise the staff highly enough, particularly those within the Gryffe unit.

Mosswood is a very caring home for my mother. She is very happy there and feels safe. We as a family, feel reassured that my mother is getting good care. The home is friendly, clean and bright. The staff are amazing and entertainment is enjoyable for the residents. I hope that Mosswood continues
with all the good work and effort they put in to provide the residents with the care and support that they receive on a daily basis.

Cannot recommend Mosswood Care Home highly enough; the care is exceptional. I have experience of dealing closely with four care homes for family members over the past four years and this is the best in terms of standard of care for the resident, quality of the care home environment and communication
with the family. The liaison with GP surgery is very good; the staff from Day 1 'claimed' the resident and began to sort out medical issues immediately which was an incredible support to us as a family as our experience in another care home had been very different. Highly recommended.

From my first visit to Mosswood Care Home, I have been impressed by the professional and caring approach of all staff. My sister and I visited the home when looking for a future residence for both our parents. Sadly our father passed away at the end of May and we knew our mum would not be able to
return home. We had no doubt we wanted her to move to Mosswood and were delighted when an appropriate place was available. Mum moved on the 21st of June and the care and attention she has received have been exemplary. Every member of staff I have encountered is so warm and professional which has made a potentially difficult time for us much easier. Not only does my mum feel at home but my sister and I also feel part of the Mosswood family and have no doubt our mum is in the best place.

My father was a resident at Mosswood Care Home. I am an ex-nurse and due to ill health have had many admissions to various hospitals and I have found the NHS sadly lacking. The staff working in Clyde Annex have restored my faith in nursing. Their nursing care for my father was exceptional, we
visitors were also given refreshments. His every need was attended to in a most professional manner. In fact, it would have been the care I would have given my father had I nursed him. The atmosphere on entering the home was calm, interaction to all residents was thoughtful and caring. I enjoyed the “banter” between the residents and all staff. The home did not smell of urine as some homes do, it was warm and inviting and the decor was most pleasing, not too clinical. Everyone we spoke to came presented as happy people with a caring attitude. Clyde’s staff are an excellent advertisement for your home and company. I just hope they are paid a fair rate for the job. My wife has been in this care home for over a year now, the home is kept fresh, clean and warm. The carers are friendly, cheerful and kind to those in their charge. At a recent emergency hospital visit-always, a day-long visit- her carer gave up her free time to stay attending to her needs. Well
done.
