A warm welcome at a clean, spacious and homely residential care home.

I have just assisted my ex-husband to move into the home for an initial respite admission. He was discharged from hospital, and his discharge/admission was handled very professionally. He has a lovely, airy, large room, and he could bring some of his furniture/computer with him. We already have a
relative in the home and were aware of its high standards, hence he chose to move here. All in all, we are very happy.

My sister really enjoys living at St.Mary's and had a wonderful time at the Summer Fayre creatively put together by the management and team. A very enjoyable experience for all the residents, friends and family. On a daily basis, excellent care and consideration is given to my sister's needs and the
staff really make an effort to get to know residents as an individual. They develop strong bonds which helps to make the resident secure and confident to consider St. Mary's their home.
I am impressed with the range of activities provided which has encouraged my sister to explore and enjoy the wider environment supported by the staff. As a relative I am always warmly welcomed by Michelle and the team in general who are committed to developing my sister's skills both practically and socially. My sister is very happy at St.Mary's which is the greatest testament to all the hard work and care provided by the entire team.

To My Dream Team,
There is so much to say and so many emotions
I want to thank you all for so many different things. It also occurred to me to point out and mention a person specifically but on reflection how does one do that when each and every staff member from cleaners, to maintenance, to
care staff, to kitchen staff, to seniors, to administration, to management would have to be mentioned for:
The abundance of caring
The abundance of love
The abundance of interest
The abundance of support
The abundance of ethics
The abundance of thoughtfulness
The abundance of a sense of family
The joy you have all given
over the past few difficult days by sharing your laughter filled memories of my little Warrior Mum have made me laugh, cry and be proud...what a legacy to leave behind, laughter!
Again in total Gratitude to one and all I SALUTE YOU.

My Mother entered St Mary's in mid August from her hospital discharge. She was treated with care, individuality, and most of all with dignity. It was a distraught time for the family but St Mary's staff went out of their way to reassure us all. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. For myself this
was so important as I live outside of the U.K. My mum asked me to allow her to stay at the end of her two respite care period. She said she no longer felt lonely of confused or scared as she had when living independently despite daily care. She was overwhelmed by the sense of peace and kindness she found.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and every one I see of her now, she is smiling. Well done to all the staff, who always make the family feel as wanted as the residents.

My Dad moved to St Mary's immediately after an A&E visit. Firstly, the speed at which St Mary's responded to my request to support the move was absolutely fantastic, which meant that he did not have to spend an additional night on a trolley. But more importantly, this speedy service was given with
such kindness and compassion. The assessment was carried out in the hospital, and on arrival Dad was greeted as if he was returning to the family home with such a warm welcome and a fantastic plate of roast dinner. Suitable introductions were made to other residents so that Dad had people to chat with at lunch the next day, and personalised activities were suggested, with regard to his likes and dislikes. When my family and I visited, a pot of tea with a big plate of biscuits magically arrived in the room, without anyone even asking. On walking through the home & lounge, everyone we saw looked so happy. There were plenty of friendly staff, who all knew Dad's name even after just one day

These forms are too complicated for an old man like me! Sufficient to say I am pleased we found you. I am very happy with your care. Stipulating the range of the number of characters is counterproductive! This last comment is because of this stipulation!!!

My friend is comfortable and well looked after. He is well fed and gets help to move around from the lovely carers. He gets taken out for visits to the beachfront and sometimes has ice cream or a haircut.

My sister is so well cared for. She has never looked better. Our family are so grateful for the time and attention from the kind professional staff members. There are activities which she thoroughly enjoys. Thank you so much.

We were delighted to find such exceptional respite care for my mother in law.
We felt able to go away knowing her every need was taken care of. The manager and staff were kind, caring and thoughtful. They were also very professional and efficient in their care.
They kept my mother in law engaged
and busy with tasks and activities which is exactly what she needed to settle in.
I would not hesitate to recommend St Mary's. In our experience it's a very special place and provides excellent care, often going above and beyond.

My mother has been a resident here for some time, and overall, our experience has been positive. She seems reasonably content, and there have been no significant complaints. The staff are attentive and ensure that her needs are met, providing a warm and supportive environment.
From what I've
observed, she is well looked after, with a good standard of care and attention to detail. The home maintains a subtle yet effective approach to security, which reassures me without feeling intrusive. This thoughtful balance allows residents to feel comfortable while ensuring their safety.
In terms of atmosphere, the care home fosters a peaceful and homely setting, which contributes to my mother's overall well-being. While no place is perfect, the consistency in care and the evident dedication of the staff to each individual resident make it a good choice for those seeking reassuring support for their loved ones.

In one word, OUTSTANDING, we moved my 95 year old Mother in Law who suffers from Alzheimer's and Dementia to St Mary's at the beginning of April 25 from another establishment.
The manager could not do enough for us, she really put our minds at rest right from the minute we walked through the front
door to have a look for a possible room for Mum.
You can tell that ALL the staff love working at St Mary's, every time we go to visit Mum she is taking part in some sort of activity, from Bingo to flower arranging to Easter bonnet making to nice walks along Worthing Pier for tea.
Mum settled in very quickly which is all down to great team work at St Mary's, the care she receives is totally amazing, the room is spotless (and you can move your own furniture in if you wish) the food is very nice, the activities are great, there is a quiet area, tv room, separate dining area and one of the nicest stained glass chapels I've ever seen.
Would definitely recommend.
Thank you

My sister chose St Marys for herself and was there for five and a half years. The care she had was excellent through out her time there right until she died in January 2025
The care she received was always appropriate to her needs and changed as she became more frail. As visitors we were always
treated pleasantly and we were always made aware of any changes to my sisters condition or care. I told the manager of the home that I never had any concerns about my sister as she was so well looked after. I can thoroughly recommend this home

Very good as usual. My dad has been at St. Marys Residential Care Home for six years now, and still think this is the place to be. I am not a person who is full of words, so I find it difficult to fill in this feedback.

St Mary's has cared for Mum for 4 years and she is so happy there. Mum can be anxious but the care she is given and the love the carers share mean that she is super happy and we are very pleased with her care.

My mum has lived at St Mary's for the last eight years and I can honestly say we are so happy with the care and attention she received. The staff are excellent, truly caring and always thinking about Mum's health and wellbeing.

My mother has been a resident of St Mary's since December 2023 and we have been extremely happy with our choice. There is a lovely atmosphere in the home and all staff members are very kind, caring and professional. They get to know the person and know their likes and dislikes which makes it feel
more family than care. I have seen many situations diffused with kindness, compassion, distraction or even a lighthearted joke. The building and the residents are kept immaculately clean (no funny smells anywhere). The food is tasty and there is a good variety to choose from.

All staff I observe are attentive with needs of residents. Also extremely patient where my Aunt is concerned due to some unrealistic demands. Great to see my Aunt in her wheelchair outside in Worthing Town Centre last week.

I am not a resident so can only review as a visitor. St Mary's is a very nice, well-managed home.
