View Full Details of Wellington GrangeMy sister stayed for 2 months in respite care. Wellington Grange is the best in class facility that I have come across.
All the management, care staff, nursing staff and housekeepers are lovely and super caring. My dad has been very well looked after and treated with the upmost respect and dignity, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Wellington Grange.
The warmth, professionalism and genuine compassion shown by every member of staff has made a world of difference to not only to my mother but myself The care team treat every resident with respect , patience and kindness which has built a good relationship with my mother Wellington Grange is modern, spotlessly clean and well maintained. There is a sense of home from the lounges and cafes to the beautiful garden. My mother is happy there which makes me happy All good
My father has received excellent nursing care at Wellington Grange. The staff are very welcoming and work together as one happy and caring team. The building feels more like a high end hotel rather than a Residential/Nursing home. Everything is clean and fresh with a lot of space in the rooms, corridors and different communal areas; which include a library, refreshment rooms and various lounges. The catering is very high quality with plenty of choice on the menu. All in all it has been a very positive experience for the whole family and my father looks in better health now than when he first came to stay two months ago. A big thank you to the manager and her wonderful team.
Every single member of staff who cared for Mum was gentle, kind, respectful, experienced and did everything they could, including spending a lot of time listening and talking with her, in the 18 months she was at Wellington Grange. Mum had a lot of visitors and everyone was blown away by the quality of the staff, building, catering, welcome and personal attention. As Mum's health declined the Management Team made time for meetings, and were incredibly attentive to all her, and our, needs. Wellington Grange is a gem.
Putting my mother in the care of the Wellington Grange was the best decision we could have made to make the latter months of her life such a wonderful experience not only for her but for us as a family. The rooms are luxurious and the facilities exceptional, but the best thing and probably the most important was the care she received by the highly skilled nurses and carers who looked after her. They were all wonderful and worked together as one happy team. The other reassuring aspect was a weekly visit by the doctor. My mother died very peacefully at the Wellington Grange and knowing she had the best care possible made her death a happy experience for everybody.
My mother has spent 3 months having respite care and the service and care have been impeccable. The level of respect and care shown to her by all members of staff has been amazing and my sisters and I have been able to relax and sleep at night, knowing that she is being so well looked after. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wellington Grange to anyone looking for an excellent place to live or visit for respite care.
The team at Wellington Grange are exceptionally caring and dedicated, and the facilities are of an extremely high quality. My mother has been a resident for around a year and from the very first she has been extremely happy, settled and comfortable. The leadership set the highest standards and the right tone, making Wellington Grange a home-from-home with demonstrably individualised care and great attentiveness. As a relative I feel totally confident that my mother is safe, supported to remain healthy through good food and the opportunity for exercise, and given a wide variety of social activities to choose from. Wellington Grange is spotlessly clean, purpose-built and above all a very happy place to be.
This is about as good as it gets.
I've been in my new home Wellington Grange over 18 months and feel safe, settled and lucky to be here. Firstly the building is an attractive one with a fabulous garden and is managed in a happy, efficient manner. We're well fed with plenty of choice. The wonderful staff deserve a special mention. Our rooms are warm and bright and kept spotless and the laundry is also wonderful. Our activities programme is excellent. If nursing is needed I am reliably informed that is exceptionally good. All in all as a care homes go Wellington Grange is well worth the money
I've been a resident at Wellington Grange for about four months. It was a big change of life for me as I'd been living in my own home and was alone most of the time as my husband died a few years ago and my son and grandchildren visited me but infrequently. I realised that my life was very lonely. A friend who lives here brought me here for a visit, I was taken aback by the amazing place. I was overwhelmed and decided to move here.
This is the first time I have stayed at a residential plus care home and it has been a delightful experience. The staff were happy to help you, any request was granted. The whole atmosphere was always friendly. The whole building was super clean.
Came for respite and decided to stay.
5 years ago I came to Wellington Grange, needing care having had frequent visits to hospital and no longer capable of living on my own. Having seen many care homes in my work as a nurse and physiotherapist in practical and managerial posts. I can say that it is the best care home I have ever seen. The kindness, care and help I have received from the staff have returned me to reasonable health and able to enjoy life even 90s. Part of this is due to the manager and her expertise in running the home.
I came to Wellington Grange Nursing and Residential Care Home in August 2023 as my son and daughter considered it to be the best in the area. I had been in the hospital with pelvic and spinal fractures sustained from a bicycle accident in June 2023. I subsequently required respite care to allow the neurological damage to repair and recover. I am now recovering well and convinced that it is all due to the excellent nursing and care support I have received here at Wellington Grange. Having sold my house, I have decided to continue my stay here, now with residential care. I highly recommend it for nursing care and care support.
I cannot speak highly enough of Wellington Grange for the care of my Uncle. From my initial enquiry, they were so helpful after he was no longer able to cope with living alone at home. They helped settle him in for his respite stay and he has continued to live there. They provide a very good standard of care with friendly and supportive staff. They have a beautiful garden for the residents to enjoy or for guests visiting to spend time with their loved ones. Being the only relative, I am very grateful for the care my Uncle receives which has given me peace of mind to know he is in safe hands.
Wellington Grange excels in delivering high-quality, consistent care through compassionate and approachable carers. My mother's survival beyond her six-week End of Life prognosis in July 2023 highlights the exceptional care she receives. The staff are welcoming, and the home features beautiful, restful gardens and clean, stylish interiors. Residents can enjoy a range of engaging activities, enhancing their quality of life and maintaining independent living. Families can spend quality time together in various break-out areas and cafes. The delicious food further adds to the comfortable and pleasant living experience at Wellington Grange.
Wellington Grange ensured a smooth arrival for my husband when he was repatriated from Greece following hospitalisation after suffering a subdural haematoma. Great care was taken to ensure he was monitored nightly and placed in an appropriate room. When there was cause for alarm the doctor was called. The nursing staff showed great consideration for his needs and also for my feelings about his condition and well-being.
We consider ourselves lucky to have Wellington Grange on our doorstep in Chichester. When my husband proved too much for me to look after he was welcomed into Wellington Grange as a permanent resident. The care, we think, is exceptional, providing a home from home for all the residents. The standards of cleaning are very good indeed and the furnishings kept tip top condition. That is a very full programme of activities with lots to interest. The medical, housekeeping companionships and reception are well staffed by such kindly, friendly people.
Wellington Grange was home to my mother for 6 years. The staff provided a high level of care, friendship and kindness. All the rooms are colourful, comfortable and uplifting. The garden is well-maintained and with shady places to sit. As I lived abroad I frequently stayed in the lovely Guest Suite which enabled me to spend more quality time with my mother and feel part of the 'family' there. I can't thank everyone enough at Wellington Grange for all their love and support shown to my mother and us her family over her years there.
