My mum has been a resident a Belmont House for a few months now and I cannot fault the care she receives. Everyone in the home is friendly, and helpful and cannot do enough for residents and visitors alike. They have always treated my mum with dignity and respect and go out of their way to honour any request we make. Having two parents that are terminally ill is hard on us as a family, but at least we know our mum is well cared for.
Cannot fault the care, hygiene or anything else with Belmont House. The staff are fantastic. Friendly and efficient. Mum says the food is generally very good and there is activities on daily to keep residents entertained. Regular pop ins from the staff if that's what the resident wants. Communal dining rooms are well kept And well used, a Lovely private dining area for residents and families to use. Fantastic hairdressing facility, with hairdressers coming in weekly, although personal hairdressers are welcome with the right insurances. Cinema room is a lovely touch too with a large array of DVDs to watch. All round fabulous home
Every time I visit my brother in law we are greeted very warmly. He is obviously well cared for and all his complex medical needs are managed expertly. In my professional life I visited many care homes but I have rarely experienced such a lovely atmosphere and there are lots of activities for the residents. The staff are so kind and look after him so well. I couldn't wish for a better environment for him.
My dad has been cared for at Belmont for 7 years and I cannot fault anything. The staff are exceptional and take the time to look after him with dignity and respect. Without their love and dedication, I know he would not still be here today. Belmont facilities are excellent and it is always clean and does not feel like a care home at all, more like a family/community. Thank you to everyone for all they do.
My mother has been looked after with great care and dignity. She took a while to settle in, but had now become more settled. She enjoys the food and has noticed an improvement from when she first arrived. She likes being taken outside and help with her walking. It is an advantage that a doctor visits each week.
Mum has been in Belmont House for 7 years and in that time Mum and our family have formed very special relationsips with the staff which has made a very painful process a calmer one for us all and we have made many precious memories which will help us now that Mum is at peace.I can not thank the staff enough for their care towards us all,we really could not have wished for a better experience. All the staff without exception treated us all with so much compassion and shared with us in our laughing and crying....everyone of you has played a special role in making Mum and us all feel loved, valued and so well cared for...thank you all from the bottom of my heart.xxx
Support and care of my mother has been exceptional. She is now eating and drinking well, is happy and more engaged. The change in her since she moved to Belmont House is remarkable.
Mum was cared for in Belmont House for seven years. It was a daunting & difficult experience at first, moving Mum from her own home into Belmont House. From the very first moment we, her family, were welcomed and made to feel at home equally as much as Mum was, by the care staff, the support staff and management team alike. Mum was a very private person and the staff respected her privacy whilst very much engaging with her on a one to one level. The staff cared for Mum with respect and understanding. The staff cared for us equally. Mum depended on the staff at Belmont House and they never let her down, they cared for her, they made her smile, they made her laugh, and for that we are immensely grateful. The staff were special to Mum and they were special to us! We thank them for taking such good care of Mum and such good care of us.
Belmont House is a wonderful place - the staff are exceptionally kind and they take great care of my husband. The activities team organise lots of events - residents recently took part in a cake decorating competition and it was lovely to see so many smiling faces enjoying the fun. The catering team do a great job of producing a range of food for all the Belmont parties. The admin and management team are welcoming and efficient, the cleaning and maintenance staff keep everything running smoothly. I'm so thankful for everything they all do.
Exemplary care given to my friend over a period of two and a half years. Special thanks for the 'end-of-life' care Belmont House Nursing Home gave to my friend over her last weeks.
I came to Belmont House Nursing Home for two weeks respite care following a fall in which I broke my wrist and injured my back. The kindness and care I received from every member of staff were wonderful and helped me recuperate enough to cope with life back at home. The house and gardens are beautifully equipped and maintained, providing everything one could wish for. I was particularly struck by the atmosphere of camaraderie between the various members of staff giving the impression that they really enjoyed working there together.
Excellent service and customer care. Dad at end of life. We, as family, are overwhelmed with the help and courtesy that all staff have shown to our father. Attention to detail. Any help and assistance required done very promptly.
A very good facility with excellent, caring and jolly staff. Very attentive and genuinely helpful staff. Everything about the home is good and it would be difficult to find anywhere better. We looked at six care homes before choosing this one and were so glad we did.
The staff at Belmont House care so much about their residents and they all ensure the residents come first which is how it should be. During my grandmother's final weeks, the staff arranged an Easter egg hunt for her to do with her young great-granddaughters. She was taken to the lounge to hide the eggs and then watched the children find them! Precious memories given to us by the staff at Belmont House. The staff also arranged a surprise visit to the garden centre for her. This was to be her last visit out and we as a family cherish that memory that again wouldn't have been possible without the staff at Belmont House. Towards the end of her life, they gave us the support, advice and hugs we needed and cried along with us. The respect given to my grandmother during her final moments and after was so touching and will stay with us forever. Thank you will never ever be enough for everything each and everyone at Belmont House did for us and Grannie.
This nursing home is exceptional. It is modern, clean, welcoming and friendly. Under excellent leadership, the staff are the best I have seen in the business. (I was an HR director in a hospice for seven years). The palliative staff are compassionate, caring, not only to their resident but to family too. Nothing is too much trouble, they work with a smile on their faces and are really engaged. The care provided is outstanding and this home should be rated as outstanding by the CQC.
All staff are amazing and really care about the residents, their safety and happiness is what's important. St Patrick's Day was lovely and all the residents that were able to attend were there. The staff make everyone welcome and are always approachable. Housekeeping and cleaning staff are always present. The standards are high and residents can have pretty much what they want when they want.
I am extremely happy with every aspect of the care given to my mother. Each and every one of the staff cares about her individual needs. If she wants to go for a walk, it is arranged. If she wants something particular to eat, she is given it. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I cannot praise everyone enough.
Belmont House in Sutton has proved to be an astounding care home for my Mother after moving from Parkside Nursing Home in Banstead. The standards are of the highest quality and the home is managed expertly and with his team of caring professional staff. The level of care provided is second to none and in my opinion, the home merits an upgrade of a CQC rating of exceptional.
I have visited my friend who is currently staying there for respite following an operation. As a social worker, I have been to many care homes, and I can honestly say this one is excellent all around. Nice, clean rooms, friendly and approachable staff, excellent food and a visible manager.
