View Full Details of Oulton ManorMy Grandpa died at Oulton Manor very recently. He had been a resident for a little over two years, When he moved in he was convinced it was a hotel - which is completely understandable given the wonderful environment of Oulton Manor. The environment is second to none and all the staff there play a big part in creating that from the nurses to the carers to the cleaners we couldn't have asked for a better experience for my Grandpa. He was treated with such care and dignity until the very end. I am sure there is nowhere else he would've wanted to be.
The care my father received during his two years at Oulton Manor has been excellent. His care in his last week of life was amazing and all staff members were kind, respectful and considerate and worked so hard to keep him comfortable.
Lovely staff, beautiful facilities very clean and well looked after.
Homely feel, fantastic views, friendly and welcoming staff.
Family get together - very private well executed.
Excellent home. Well ran, clean, tidy and great menu. Residents so well looked after. Staff so helpful. Great activities for residents.
A very pleasant experience, warm and friendly staff extremely homely place with great attention to care and everyone's needs.
Mum was welcomed immediately. The manager on the floor had already thought of a lady to show Mum "the ropes" and keep an eye on her. The atmosphere is very friendly. The carers are thoughtful, speak clearly and are sympathetic to the many anxieties my mum has. Her room is spacious, well equipped and very clean. The en-suite bathroom is excellent. Everyone is approachable and knows Mum well.
An unbelievably reasurring welcome by all staff on Dad's arrival. A pack detailing every aspect was issued as well. I cannot thank all the staff highly enough in what is a very professionally run care home. A great staff to resident ratio means that my dad's needs are all attended to. The friendly, approachable way staff work means a lot to dad and our family. I also like how all the staff knew my dad's name, this has helped him settling in. In a summary, brilliant!
The Oulton Manor staff make my mum feel very comfortable and happy at the home. It is difficult to adjust to not being independent. However, the staff are kind and caring which has very much helped my mum to adjust. The home is well cared for and run well. My mom doesn't want to be in a home but says "if I were to choose a home, it would be this one." High praise indeed. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work.
The home is a warm and caring atmosphere, dad is cared for very well and is happy, staff are brilliant and very attentive dad could not be anywhere better.
My mum was very happy at Oulton Manor. She often told me how lovely all the staff are. The food is varied and tasty. The care home is very comfortable and homely. Great activities daily. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a loved one.
I am extremly pleased with the home, staff and level of care that my father is receiving. The standard of cleanliness is very high and the home is very welcoming.
Oulton Manor is smart, modern, comfortable and spotless. The staff without exception are nice, very caring and generous with their time. The atmosphere is cheerful, calm and friendly. The restaurants serve great food and residents enjoy the company of each other and staff at meal times. We have been lucky to find it.
Well looked after and felt safe.
I have used this home once before in an emergency and they were brilliant. It was a no-brainer for him to come in again to give my mum respite. The staff are friendly and attentive and extremely helpful. The home itself is large and quite plush, like a hotel. I couldn't be more pleased and know that my dad is in safe hands.
After looking at many homes it was such a relief to find Oulton Manor! The staff really care, they are approachable and want to get things right for my dad. There are activities morning and afternoon and it is great to see that residents are not just left sitting in front of the television in communal areas, as was the case in other homes!
Plenty of caring staff, who looked after Dad so well. Dad was poorly a couple of times and they were quick to notify the doctor and get him treated very quickly. I cannot recommend this care home enough and would not hesitate to place Dad here again in the future.
Mum called 'Chester' (the unit) her home. A home that was full of compassion, empathy, and understanding. Amazing team of individuals. Thank you.
