Oak Park is a great care home. We have family members in there and they are very well looked after by staff who genuinely care. They do all sorts of activities with them. Keep up the amazing work guys.

Since we moved my father-in-Law to Oak park Care Home, in his best interests, as he had been found outside wandering at all hours where he lived alone before, and was not safe, he has been treated with dignity and respect, and the care has been fantastic. Myself and his son had been his primary
Carers, seeing him sometimes 3-4 times day and night, for months due to his deterioration in his health previously at his old address, but we feel so reassured knowing he is being looked after so well there, and they are doing everything they can to help him settle in well. He is eating and drinking well, and sleeping so much better, and in a better routine, and is socialising, and seeing more people than he has done in months. We love that he is so close to us so we can continue to see him every day, and our 5yr old loves to go to the Care home and see his Grandad and all the other residents there too. It really is a lovely place, we have no concerns, and appreciate everything the staff do.

Oak park have been welcoming and caring towards my Dad, and have acted as an advocate for him from the start. We live close but can always ring, and they will put him on loudspeaker for us to talk to him. Unfortunately they have had to deal with my 'Absent' Sibling who lives 200 miles away from my
Dad, and who doesn't help with his daily cares, but criticises me (his primary carer/ NOK) and my decision to move him into respite, in his best interests, and for his safety.
Oak park have always followed policy and procedure and taken advice from the police and social services when needed. They continue to give professional and fantastic care to my Dad despite all the added issues that have been caused. Dad has eaten/ drank better, his sleep has improved, he is joining in with activities, and is getting much more social interaction too. Can't thank them enough and would recommend them if you're thinking of making the difficult decision like we did but most importantly he is safe now there

I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the care my father is receiving at Oak park care home/bond care. Specifically, there was an incident involving a cut on my father's elbow. Unfortunately, the regional manager did not follow up with me as promised. Despite assurances that I would
be contacted by email, I received no communication, nor was an incident report created. This lack of follow-through is deeply concerning, as it directly impacts both my father's safety and my trust in the care provided. I request that this matter be escalated to the Care Commissioning Group so that it can be properly investigated and addressed. I expect a prompt response outlining the steps that will be taken.

Mum was a resident in the Nightingale suite for just over a month before she died, having previously stayed at Oak Park for respite over the last two years.
All staff, from the cleaners through to management, were very kind and caring. She had excellent care whilst she was there and enjoyed the
last month of her life.
All staff were very kind and caring to the family as well, and nothing was too much trouble.
07 March 2024
Mum has been in this care home for over eight years and enjoys every minute of every day.
She is now 103 and a little frail to say the least, but the carers do their utmost to ensure that she is well cared for in terms of her personal health and well-being.
She loves her carers and sees them as
an extended family as they are so kind and friendly to her which gives us peace of mind knowing that she is happy and in a very safe environment.
Thank you to all the staff at Oak Park for looking after our mum as it is very much appreciated.

Greeted at the door by the smiling lady from the office.
Given an update on Mum after a fall on each of the consecutive nights.
On the first night, Mum fell, I was telephoned and the situation was explained. Mum had hit her head and had a cut on the side of her eye. A little later, the paramedic
rang. He was wondering whether or not to take Mum to hospital. As Mum was in bed and okay, I said not to as she refuses to cooperate with hospital staff. The next day, she was up, dressed and in the lounge.
06 February 2024
Excellent care home - the staff are amazing and looked after Mum when she became ill in November and subsequently passed away - they were wonderful to Mum and indeed the whole family - absolutely wonderful - they all need medals.
06 February 2024
My mum came here for respite in December 2022, which then turned into a short stay until she was back on her feet. We were a little dubious about having to get Mum into a care home, but after only a few days, we were so happy, especially as Mum settled in so well and began talking about staying
full-time.
The whole building is spotlessly clean, and the staff are 100% dedicated to their job and the care and well-being of their residents. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and when I visit, I can see in my mum and other residents just how happy they are, especially when they're in the bar area doing activities, which range from jigsaws to live entertainment and chair Zumba.
I highly recommend Oak Park and the staff... Well done, and keep doing what you're doing.

Where to start. After a bad experience with Mum's previous care home, she was moved to Oakpark. What a transformation - beautiful furnishings and decoration. Mum settled in straight away. Staff are amazing with all the residents, fun and games, if you want to join in, I won't go into all the
activities they provide as it would take too long. I feel nothing is too much trouble from all the staff. Well done, Oak Park. Five stars.

The staff are kind, caring and always considerate towards my mother-in-law. They treat her with respect and courtesy.
They are always ready with updates when I can’t get to visit, meaning I stay informed when not able to be there in person.
The home is light, bright and filled with love.
I
couldn’t wish for a better place for a loved one.

Both our parents were cared for at Oak Park for approximately two years. The care they received was second to none. The care staff quickly became our second family, and we felt we were leaving our parents with family. The care was always delivered with empathy, dignity and a level of professionalism
you could only hope for. Their needs were constantly reviewed and catered for. Any issues we raised were dealt with and mutually resolved.
It's never easy having a relative go into residential care, but our parents and the wider family were lovingly supported throughout. That care was given by all members of staff, from management through to the domestic staff, who all went above and beyond to make it a true home for our parents.
The home was constantly cleaned and updated. The food was amazing and plentiful, and there was a full programme of activities and experiences to keep everyone entertained for those who wanted to engage in it. We are forever grateful for Oak Park.

My relative is being cared for with warmth and compassion. I cannot fault the care she receives. Her face lights up when she sees the staff.
Oak Park should be praised, also, for its excellent food. The kitchen team provide excellent nutrition that my relative enjoys eating.
A huge thank you to
everyone at Oak Park.

My mum has lived at Oak Park now for the last six months, and I cannot fault the care she has received. The staff are extremely caring and attentive and respond positively to any requests. My mum is extremely happy living at Oak Park and has benefitted enormously from the excellent food, all the
social contact and the range of appropriate activities. I would wholeheartedly recommend Oak Park.
16 January 2024
Wow, wow, what can I say? I moved my mum here from another care home as she wasn't being cared for... since moving my mum here, she has completely changed from existing to being stimulated on a daily, hourly basis, with lots of activities, food is lovely, with choice, rooms are clean and tidy, and
the staff are absolutely amazing. My mum has Dementia and Alzheimer's, so she's not easy, but she's back to being quick-witted, engaged, eating and sleeping.
I call all these things out as her previous home was shambolic and should not be allowed to trade, so I have a comparison.
I now feel content that my mum is properly cared for with dignity and respect. Staff are always happy and joining in with residents, singing and dancing... I call this a happy home. Check out their Facebook page to see some of what goes on.

From the moment I arrived at Oak Park Care Home, my initial anxiety on transfer was addressed with empathy and compassion. Accommodation and facilities are superb, staff listen and make time to cheer and support residents with challenging personalities. Activities - Zumba, aerobics, film nights,
chats, Xmas/New Year, etc - were a delight with staff efforts. When entering Oak Park Care Home, there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere - here, there is laughter, joy, music and caring staff - a complete package and fully deserving of its outstanding status.

I came here from hospital with a broken leg/knee and a broken wrist until my home is ready. I'm in a sit and wait bed. I am really enjoying my stay and have started to walk again with the aid of an A-frame. The staff are really great and there have been various activities. My friends visit regularly
and are also made to feel part of the community. Although I'm looking forward to going home I will miss the friendly atmosphere and the community spirit that the staff foster daily (I will be going home in approximately 3 weeks).

I am very happy with all staff.
All residents are happy and we are treated with respect.

Very friendly and caring staff. Like the room and used the hairdresser who was marvellous. Look forward to staying again.
