The care my mum received at Bourn View was as professional, compassionate and warm as we could possibly have hoped. It's a luxury-styled place, but that would be nothing without the staff. They are gentle, patient, kind and attentive. Nothing and no one is trouble. My mum was so safe, happy and
healthy, we stopped worrying. I can't say better than that - we stopped worrying. Bourn View is a wonderful place that you can trust, without question.

My grandad initially came for respite in June for 4 weeks, he loved it so much that he became a permanent resident in August. As a family we noticed such a difference in him, he was happier, his mobility improved and it was lovely to see him getting involved in the activities. The care home is
beautiful, bright, clean and the staff are incredible. I have already recommended Bourn View to a couple of people whi have been looking at care homes for their family members. Thank you to everyone for taking such care in our family memories.

Staff on reception are always welcoming and friendly. Care staff, from all units, when I have seen them while in the bistro, are friendly, always saying hello to relatives & residents from different units. When I have had any concerns, management been caring and have listened. My concerns have been
dealt with promptly and with compassion. Catering/hospitality/laundry/house keepers are also friendly.

Bourn View has given me time to recover after major surgery. All of the carers have assisted me, where necessary, with great kindness, care and compassion. I am so grateful to every one at Bourn View, but in particular the carers. Nothing is ever too much trouble to them. The fantastic meals have
also aided my recovery.
Cannot find fault, I am so grateful to all.

Every time I have visited or telephoned I have found the staff friendly and efficient. Only too happy to be of assistance, the home is very clean and the atmosphere caring and upbeat. I have working as a senior manager at an acute hospital and only wish the NHS could aspire to the high standards at
Bourn View Care Home.

Visited on 10th February - Monday. He falls a lot and his mat was not plugged in. He was served lunch in room & his chair was not adjusted so he could eat easily. In dining room, 1 lady against wall had a plate of food & was incapable of feeding herself. Food was all over her table. No one was
feeding her. There seemed a staff shortage. For the feed being paid care should be better.

Dad has been at Bourn View Care Home for over four years now. He is happy and very well cared for. Staff always go above and beyond to ensure residents' safety and well-being are maintained.
Despite a change in management over the past eighteen months, standards have been maintained in a time that
must have been unsettling for staff.
As a family, we are 100% happy with the excellent care Dad continues to receive.

The team are 100% professional, efficient and empathetic. They have made my mum feel supported and welcome as he has moved into the Bourn View Care Home from an extended hospital stay. The team have also helped us, as a family, to manage the transition into care home living which required our
modification of approach with my mum. Thank you.

I can’t fault the care Mom has received since she has been here. The staff have the residents well being first and foremost. They truly care about the people that we as family have entrusted to their care. That is a great comfort for all concerned.

I am really pleased with the help and support my mother is given at Bourn View. The frequent activities are ideal for her, although she doesn't have to join in, she is delighted to do so. This is particularly helpful, as she has dementia and being active is so positive.

The care for my sister continues to be excellent. She is very well cared for and happy here. There are always going to be some issues, but I do feel that once raised they are addressed or at least explained. I would like to see a more consistent approach to actions promised e.g. making phone calls,
cutting nails and phone calls. That said, I am very happy with the care my sister is receiving and feel the staff work hard, often going above and beyond.
