We've visited many homes before settling for Lavender Oaks, and it hasn't disappointed. Residents are encouraged but not forced to join in. They have a wealth of experience in dealing with residents. Food is in abundance with good choice. Afternoon tipple of G+T or other drinks help everyone! Entertainment and activities are great with trips out to nearby towns and garden centres. Everyone looks well cared for and most importantly, happy.

This December will be the eighth year that my friend will have spent at Lavender Oaks. She is in Butterfly, the Dementia suite. I am so pleased with the care that she is receiving. She is very happy and the staff are marvellous with her. The care and attention she receives is first class, they really know and understand her and it is always a pleasure to visit her. The home is so warm and welcoming to visitors too. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the Bistro is a lovely area where we can sit and have coffee with the residents.

The best, most efficient home I have come across, food is superb, staff second to none, and surroundings are fantastic.

My uncle was nearing the end of his life due to terminal cancer and gone blind due to macular degeneration. He had been in and out of hospital on several occasions towards the end of 2024, so was no longer able to be at home and Lavender Oaks accepted him into the Care Home without a moments hesitation. The care and attention he received was first class and his family and friends couldn't have asked for anything more. Although he was only there for less than 2 months all members of staff and medical specialists were exceptional, keeping him comfortable and pain free to the end. His family and friends were able to visit and share final moments, the church minister too which was important to him. As he loved listening to the radio his room was generally filled with music and a good collection of Christmas cards during the festive period. Thanks Lavender Oaks for all you did.

From initial contact to moving in, the experience has been excellent. All of the questions have been answered or anticipated. All the staff have been amazing, smiling and making us feel at home. My mum has felt special and wanted from the first meeting. I can honestly say I saw 5 homes and this home was the best one for atmosphere and warmth of welcome. I am very happy to entrust my mum to the care of the home and I know she is very happy.

From our initial enquiry to my sister-in-law being placed here everything has gone smoothly. The client services manager made a big effort to get my sister-in-law in quickly as she was so unhappy at her previous care home. All the staff have made an enormous effort to get her settled and happy. We can't fault the home.

It took me a while to make sure I found the right place for my mum. I am so happy that I have found Lavender Oaks Care Home. Since I found this beautiful place everything has been brilliant, from how we have been greeted until the present. I have notice a significant change in my mother's well being and cannot be more grateful. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.

I can't recommend this facility and staff enough. All Staff, accommodation and food outstanding and so helpful. I was recommended by a friend and was met with standards surpassing his high marks. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful at the start, I recommend this place 100% and they offer both respite and permanent care. The care system is a minefield when you enter it for the first time and Lavender Oaks and the staff were the only ones who had any sort of knowledge and help through the process. Thank you again.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Lavender Care Home. The staff here are truly incredible, attentive and always ready to go above and beyond. The facilities are excellent and clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Lavender Oaks has been a fantastic option for respite care as they are very accommodating and make every effort to meet individual needs. It's reassuring to know our loved ones are in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend this home!

When we first walked through the doors we felt welcomed and all the staff have been amazing. Nothing is too much for them. The home is clean and homely, the food is great and the facilities are great. The care my father-in-law has received has been incredible. They're so kind and caring we couldn't ask for more. Can I book my space now.

From the very first viewing, we have been so impressed with the caring, empathetic staff. Everyone at Lavender Oaks goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are cared for. My dad has taken time to settle, which they have allowed him to do. He is now a permanent resident. We are very grateful for all the wonderful care, food, activities, etc, he receives on a daily basis. We feel supported too. Thank you.

All the staff are amazing, very friendly, supportive and caring. There are lots of opportunities to take part in activities, my dad particularly enjoys using the interactive table for music and the quizzes. His room is lovely with a view over the gardens. Dad has said he feels safe and secure here and enjoys the company of other residents rather than being alone. The food is excellent and we are kept informed of any health or well-being concerns as they arise.

A beautiful care home. Relaxed and welcoming. The staff are so kind and helpful I could not ask for a better place for my mum to stay. I have already recommended Lavender Oak to a friend for her mum.

We have found Lavender Oaks to be excellent. From arrival, we were made to feel welcome. My Dad has been well cared for. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are amazing, caring and dedicated. We could not wish for a better place for my dad to be.

My mother-in-law spent a week at Lavender Oaks in April as we went on a family holiday. Her room was beautiful, all of the staff were kind and pleasant. My mother-in-law has very disturbing conversation topics due to her dementia, the staff took this in their stride and were very tolerant. My mother-in-law had a birthday while there and they made this special for her.

Staff are understanding, proactive, very friendly and accommodating. Their commitment to making the residents feel 'at home' starts from the moment of entry. The views from the rooms at the first-floor level are comfortable and pacifying to the mind and allow a superabundance of daydreaming. Absolutely no complaints about heating, there's plenty of it! A place to recommend to trusting friends.

My mother was cared for at Lavender Oaks for 16 months before her death in August 2023. I lived fairly local and used to visit every couple of days and the way I was treated made me part of the team. She was always smiling as her care couldn't be beaten by all of the staff, I have moved further away now but I still pop in and visit the staff in a way of thanks.

All the staff are amazing, very friendly, supportive and caring.
