Lavender Oaks Care Home

Daily life at Lavender Oaks Care Home is well managed. Nearly all the staff are incredibly friendly and always make a genuine effort to spend meaningful time talking to the residents. Sue leads the entire team brilliantly, always taking the time to listen and act on any and all requests. Key staff members like Alex, Michaela, Bianca, and Lisa know my mother incredibly well, having invested real effort into understanding her personality and preferences. Whenever my mother gets distressed, the team proactively helps her contact me, ensuring I always feel fully informed and supported through the process. The food is also beautifully prepared and presented, with the catering staff regularly checking in with my mother to find out exactly what she would like to eat. Overall, the home provides a clean, fresh, and inviting environment. While I would naturally prefer for my mother not to require this high level of care, since we do not have that choice, the support they provide is lovey.

The home is set in beautiful grounds which are excellently kept. The staff are so kind and they treat the residents with so much respect. The quality and quantity of food is amazing. My aunt is very happy here.

I am so glad that I that I found Lavender Oaks for my mum. The care she receives is exemplary. All of the staff in all departments care deeply for the residents and go out of their way to engage with them so helping with their wellbeing. I would thoroughly recommend Lavender Oaks to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

A very good experience, for me because I can rest assured that my wife is very well looked after. Sue is treated as one of the Lavender Oaks family. Well fed and cared for.

My husband and I have no negative comments to make at all. We have encountered bar none during my aunts stay have been amazing. They are regularly in touch with us regarding my aunts wellbeing and we are very happy with the home and the care my aunt receives.

I enjoy the 2x weekly exercise sessions; I enjoy the lovely garden - and playing grand piano. I'd happily play Christmas carols for residents, if invited. From assessment until now, I have realised good organisation by managers. If I need care in future I would happily live here if you would consider me.

We've visited many homes before settling for Lavender Oaks, and it hasn't disappointed. Residents are encouraged but not forced to join in. They have a wealth of experience in dealing with residents. Food is in abundance with good choice. Afternoon tipple of G+T or other drinks help everyone! Entertainment and activities are great with trips out to nearby towns and garden centres. Everyone looks well cared for and most importantly, happy.

The home is so warm and welcoming to visitors too. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the Bistro is a lovely area where we can sit and have coffee with the residents.

He had been in and out of hospital on several occasions towards the end of 2024, so was no longer able to be at home and Lavender Oaks accepted him into the Care Home without a moments hesitation. The care and attention he received was first class and his family and friends couldn't have asked for anything more. Although he was only there for less than 2 months all members of staff and medical specialists were exceptional, keeping him comfortable and pain free to the end. His family and friends were able to visit and share final moments, the church minister too which was important to him. As he loved listening to the radio his room was generally filled with music and a good collection of Christmas cards during the festive period. Thanks Lavender Oaks for all you did.

I can honestly say I saw 5 homes and this home was the best one for atmosphere and warmth of welcome. I am very happy to entrust my mum to the care of the home and I know she is very happy.

The client services manager made a big effort to get my sister-in-law in quickly as she was so unhappy at her previous care home. All the staff have made an enormous effort to get her settled and happy. We can't fault the home.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Lavender Care Home. The staff here are truly incredible, attentive and always ready to go above and beyond. The facilities are excellent and clean, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. Lavender Oaks has been a fantastic option for respite care as they are very accommodating and make every effort to meet individual needs. It's reassuring to know our loved ones are in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend this home!

When we first walked through the doors we felt welcomed and all the staff have been amazing. Nothing is too much for them. The home is clean and homely, the food is great and the facilities are great. The care my father-in-law has received has been incredible. They're so kind and caring we couldn't ask for more. Can I book my space now.

From the very first viewing, we have been so impressed with the caring, empathetic staff. Everyone at Lavender Oaks goes above and beyond to make sure the residents are cared for. My dad has taken time to settle, which they have allowed him to do. He is now a permanent resident. We are very grateful for all the wonderful care, food, activities, etc, he receives on a daily basis. We feel supported too. Thank you.

All the staff are amazing, very friendly, supportive and caring. There are lots of opportunities to take part in activities, my dad particularly enjoys using the interactive table for music and the quizzes. His room is lovely with a view over the gardens. Dad has said he feels safe and secure here and enjoys the company of other residents rather than being alone. The food is excellent and we are kept informed of any health or well-being concerns as they arise.

A beautiful care home. Relaxed and welcoming. The staff are so kind and helpful I could not ask for a better place for my mum to stay. I have already recommended Lavender Oak to a friend for her mum.
