Lavender Oaks Care Home

The team are always inclusive and respectful and adapts to everyone's individual needs. They never apply a one size fits all approach and genuinely go out of their way to find ways to engage and generate interest in the residents, even when they can be challenging because of their condition. The environment and facilities are always spotlessly clean, and the food is good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lavender Oaks; I never felt Dad was getting less than the best care.

Even after my mum passed, they are still in contact and also welcoming my dad to the home still.

My mum was in Lavender Oaks for two weeks of respite care. All the staff were excellent and very caring. My mum really enjoyed herself and her mobility has definitely improved. The facilities are amazing and very clean, as was her room. I could visit her anytime and was always welcomed by the staff. I was very happy in the knowledge that my mum was being very well cared for.

Our mother was in Lavender Oaks Carshalton for a few weeks to receive nursing care. Throughout that time, the staff and carers treated her and the family with the utmost care and compassion, especially in the last few days of her life. Their professionalism is outstanding and we are extremely grateful to all who helped us through a difficult time. We would not hesitate to recommend Lavender Oaks.

My sister has been in this care home for about three months with Alzheimer's disease. I have visited her several times and I am very impressed with everything I have seen. They bring her down to the lounge where I can chat to her in comfort, either inside or outside with a cup of coffee or tea. The staff have been very friendly. The home is spotlessly clean with wonderful gardens. I can visit her any day. I have seen her room which is excellent. I know she will be very comfortable there and perfectly safe.

My mother was made to feel at home by the care staff on Butterfly Wing which was a tremendous help in her transiting from living in her flat to a care home. She has built great relationships with the staff and she enjoys the trips arranged in the minibus by the home. Overall as a family, we feel mum is safer and happier.

My mother is 86 at Christmas and has not been eating properly for years and has many health issues. She became really weak and frail and at last decided to at least try a short stay in a care home. We looked at 4 for her and chose Lavender Oaks. She has been there a week and I cannot believe the care and attention, kindness and time her carers spend with her. Every aspect is excellent and Mother is actually eating regular meals and gaining strength. I saw a card in the foyer to write a review and happy to do so! I'd recommend this establishment to anyone!

Food very enjoyable.

The staff at Lavender Oaks Care Home were extremely professional and kind and caring. Nothing was too much for them and they went out of their way to ensure that my elderly mother got the end of life care she needed and was comfortable and able to eventually pass peacefully. The rooms are spacious and modern and the home itself has a lovely atmosphere and is set in beautiful surroundings. There was always a friendly greeting and regular tests for Covid were carried out to protect the clients. I highly recommend this wonderful care home.

I want to thank all staff for their warm welcome and friendliness over the years in making my visits to Lavendar Oaks so special. The home certainly excels in its real home from home feel and my lovely friend spent the most wonderful time there. To sit with her over a delicious coffee and cake in beautiful lounges, overlooking amazingly well-tendered gardens, made my visits and our time together so special and relaxing. Particular thanks to those lovely reception ladies and those hardworking, well-trained staff for being so attentive in providing such excellent care for her, treating her with dignity and respect. Her room was spotless, food excellent and the home catered for her every need. All staff were her good friends. I feel comforted that she had such first-class treatment, it suited all her needs and I don't hesitate in recommending this fabulous place to anyone considering first-class care for a loved one.

My aunt has been at Lavender Oaks since 04/01/2022. she is extremely happy and everything is well run and very efficient. The staff seem to enjoy their work and are very obliging.

I am very pleased with the care my brother receives at Lavender Oaks Care Home and feel he could not be in a better place. The best part of the service is the friendly staff who couldn't be more loving and considerate. From my first meeting with the Home Manager and Head Nurse who put my mind at ease, I felt very confident I was making the right decision. Over the years my brother has settled in well and through his stay, he has received excellent care with respect and dignity. With the 24 hours care and support for my brother's well being, I feel very confident I have made the right decision and wouldn't fail to highly recommend Lavender Oaks Care Home when the first opportunity arises. A huge thank you to the Managers and all the staff for their kindness and care.

After a bad experience in hospital, I came to Lavender Oaks in December 2021 and straight away received nothing but kindness and care, all staff are amazing including catering and handymen, my improvement here has been amazing all with help from the wonderful staff.

Mum arrived at Lavender Oaks care home just before Christmas in quite a bad way, she had been mistreated in hospital in several ways. The day mum got there and got settled into her room the first thing she was asked was if she’d like a cup of tea, to my mum that meant everything. The level of care we’ve experienced by the team at Lavender Oaks has been absolutely superb, I finally feel okay about leaving her somewhere where I know she’s being looked after properly. I’m extremely grateful for what you do and continue to do for my mum. She’s come a long way since she left the hospital and that’s all down to you. Thank you.

I have been amazed at the overall consistency of good care and friendliness of the staff. Occasional issues were quickly dealt with. The covid pandemic has been a challenge considering this I have nothing but praise for the staff I come into contact with at Lavender Oaks on a daily basis. The Senior Management are not overly responsive or helpful but luckily they are not directly interacting with mum! This does not include the Home Manager who is great.

Lavender Oaks provide responsive, thoughful and caring support for my 93-year-old father. Even in the difficult virus times, they continue to ensure the family is kept informed and care standards are maintained at all times. Issues raised, if any, are promptly addressed.

Mum is so well looked after. The Manager and the team are so kind and helpful. Always giving great support. Mum is very happy and always looks lovely and well-groomed.

My 94 year old mother has settled in extremely well (moved in only 2 months ago) at Lavender Oaks Care Home, mum has made friends and started to join in activities that are on offer. All the staff are polite, attentive and courteous. Lavender Oaks is clean and well presented with a good atmosphere surrounded by attractive gardens.
