My parents were moved to 24-hour care together at Marigold and the team there are providing excellent care not only to them but also supporting the family through one of the most difficult things to face. All the team members are friendly and helpful, they all go above and beyond to provide the
highest standards of care for my parents who both have very different needs, nothing is too much for them. I would highly recommend a placement there and the confidence I now have about them being safe is priceless!

The care home is well run and the nursing staff and care staff are well run.The management are helpful and caring and seem concerned about residents.The is good support to outside agencies for example occupational health.The entertainment is good and various church people attend.

My mum has been at Marigold Nursing Home for 2 years now the staff are excellent. The new management are doing a fantastic job, everyone there makes you smile. My mum is looked after really well, thanks to everyone for being there for not just my mum, but for all the lovely residents. God bless you

Care is professional, compassionate, personal. Room is exceptionally clean, warm. Food is excellent, varied and personalised if requested. Staff are warm, gentle and friendly.

On entering the Marigold I knew this would be mam's residence. The atmosphere was special the place was very clean and when I was shown my mother's room I was over the moon. Recently decorated in beautiful grey and yellow and a pleasant outlook. My mother was 104 years of age on 17th April and the
manager and the staff went over and beyond to make a special day for her. I can only say that The Marigold is special as are the staff and facilities.

Marigold Nursing Home managers, nurses, carers, housekeeprs and everyone. The care home was clean, well ran. My mother was kept immaculate. They gave 1st class care. Everyone in Marigold deserve recognition for a superb ran nursing home. Mam passed last night and I can only give heartfelt thanks to
all staff.
Staff also cared for the family too.

Staff are very patient and caring, and go out of their way with residents. The food is nice the home is kept clean + tidy and warm. I have had very good experiences with the past manager, the home is awaiting a new manager.

My mam was in a previous home but we brought her out after a short time, we managed to get her into the Marigold nursing home, this home is amazing, the staff are so caring, and friendly. all there needs are met. both medical and social. they have a very good entertainment schedule and everyone is
included they have a rabbit called billy who is brought in, in a pram they all love him. the staff all keep you up to date at every stage of mams care. i could not have chose a better home

My views on home is very good mam gets well looked after and gets on well with staff and residents, daily activities are good for all which mam joins in most of the time. She love's her room which she calls her house. Which has just been decorated. Which is very nice.

My experience of Marigold care home is one of positivity in every aspect of care, respect of both residents and their families and superb consideration, support of residents and staff.
Having knowledge and experience of most care homes in Sunderland due to my previous employment I can, without
hesitation state that there is absolutely no comparison with any other home due to the outstanding thought, care and management of Marigold care home.

It is coming up to two years now that my mother has lived in Marigold Home, Mam has had no hospital visits and no health issues, which speaks for itself. Mam lived in two previous care homes which were not good experiences so when Mam moved into Marigold we felt that we had hit the jackpot. I think
about Mam a lot and miss her but I no longer worry about her.
I would like to thank management and all the staff for their continuing care and support and thank you for making our family welcome.

We were extremely lucky in finding a place in the Marigold Nursing Home. From the manager through to domestic staff, we have found all members of staff to be caring and give 100% of attention to the care they give to my husband. They have made the transition comfortable and easy for both my husband
and me.

The moment I walked into the Marigold I felt a warmth and friendly environment. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The care home was very clean. This is what I wanted for my husband and I have not been disappointed. Also, my husband says the food is very good.

Right from the beginning of my husband's residency, the staff have shown a sense of togetherness. They are very approachable and friendly, I'm always seeing smiling faces. They have strong values showing a commitment that forms a very productive caring working relationship. More importantly, they
have patience, understanding and respect for the resident's health, well-being and safety. When I leave after visiting I know I am leaving him in their capable caring hands.

The Marigold Nursing Home staff provide the utmost professional care for my mother who is suffering from dementia. I cannot praise them more. This was recently demonstrated in the family day where residents, staff and family enjoyed a great activity together. It must be said that the manager is
outstanding.

This is a great care home for my mother-in-law which really satisfies all of her needs and care and goes beyond our expectations. The manager and staff genuinely care for the residents. I cannot say enough good things about them. It's like one big, friendly family.

My husband and myself are very happy with the ongoing care and support given to my mother. We have always found the management and staff to be responsive to my mother's needs in a competent, caring and compassionate manner. She is living the best life possible and we have no concerns that she is not
receiving the care and attention she needs, which is of great solace to us. Marigold has a friendly, positive attitude, is immaculately clean, well-equipped and maintained, staff are always available to allay any concerns. Simply can not praise them enough!

Mam has now lived in Marigold Nursing Home for over five years. She is very well looked after and happy, the care team go out of their way to make sure her needs are met, as they do whenever myself or family visit. It gave me no option that when my father was diagnosed with dementia to approach the
home to ask if he could move in, without hesitation they agreed that Dad should be with Mam, it's lovely to visit and see them together again.
