My mum has been at the home 2 years now. I don't think she will ever fully settle. She has become very attached to some of the care workers who are so kind and patient with her. I would like to thank Sue in particular, she is lovely with my mum. My mum hates anyone finding out that her brain was not
as it should be; she would be mortified at her behaviour. All the staff are lovely. I am happy my mother is safe.

The managment and staff have been very kind and helpful in my mum's move to Millers Grange. We as a family have tried to keep mum at home, which she wanted, but this has proved impossible as it just was not safe anymore. Mum is finding it quite difficult to adapt after being to independant, but is
gradually settling in with the help of staff at Mullers Grange. I always feel very welcome whatever time I visit, and any concerns are dealt with.

My wife went into Millers Grange Care Home in Witney in December 2025 for a period of Respite Care, and when I came out of hospital after a knee replacement it became obvious that I woudl be unable to care for her at home due to her dementia. The family had a meeting with the care home manager who
was very understanding of the situation and we decided to accept the offer of permanent care.
My wife has a lovely room on the 'sunny side' overlooking the front of the building. It's very well equipped and we were able to take a lot of her personal things into the home including her CD player. The care is extremely good with lovely carers who go out of their way to ensure the residents are kept well and happy. The family are able to visit 24/7 and there is always a warm welcome to those visiting from the staff.

We have confidence that mum is well cared for and safe in a friendly environment.

My parents have been resident for nearly 2 years.
I cannot fault the care staff, domiciliary and lifestyle teams are good.
There have been a few problems but without exception addressed and resolved promptly.
It has been testing time all round recently following a fall and serious injury.
Now that mum is back in the care home they are making efforts over and above my expectations to care and support her.
This is a good home and not just because the CQC say so!

From the day of arrival 3 years ago my wife and I were made to feel welcome. All the staff, from the managers down, have been kind and approachable and naturally caring but professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.

I would like to commend the staff at Millers Grange for their kind, considerate and professional approach during and after my mothers unexpected passed. They were so organised, competent and calm they helped also instill that calmness in myself. After her passing they made her look so dignified, and
dressed her in her favourite clothes holding a flower. I would like to comment specific staff if this is permitted.

Millers Grange is a very welcoming Care Home in every way & we are very pleased that my sister Jean has been a resident since August.
It's the nicely laid out communal garden & each downstairs room having patio area with table & chairs & being able to walk around the complex for a little exercise
that is a bonus.
All the staff are very caring & understanding towards my sister who has dementia. It's really nice to see all the different activities that are provided for the residents to take part in as well as the lovely coffee shop.

Mum needed urgent respite care following an illness requiring hospitalisation. From the initial phone call onwards the manger and staff have shown real compassion and empathy. Their professionalism turned a crisis into a calm security. I will be forever grateful.

My mum has been in hospital for 2 weeks and it has been stressful and worrying. The care team at Millers Grange have been wonderfully supportive during this time, sending love and best wishes through the whole period. They were also extremely helpful guiding me through how mum would be transported
home and how to get her rehabilitated once back. They were also flexible and accommodating when it turned out mum would be brought back late on a Sunday. I wasn't surprised by this, given how lovely everyone is day to day, but is was much appreciated during a tough time.

I am always welcomed by all the staff at The Grange care home. Everyone is always cheerful. The home is a happy place to be.
I am always offered a drink on my visit. I love that the residents are encouraged to help out in the garden if they would like to.
The cafe is a nice place to be to have a
cuppa and a good chat.

Millers Grange was a fabulous home for my great aunt. The care she received was so kind and caring and all the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. We were all treated so well, thank you to all the staff.

We have received the most wonderful care as a family in helping my mum settle into her new surroundings.
It was very tricky initially as Mum wasn't keen but all the staff have been so kind and helped her settle as well as providing regular feedback to me.
She is safe and warm and cared for. A
weight off my shoulders.
They were always confident that in time she would be ok and they were right with their help of course. We are really very grateful and would highly recommend it.
They put her pictures up on the walls to help make her feel at home prior to her arrival. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

Have been coming to Millers Grange since it opened. Have been impressed with the friendliness of the staff. This includes people not directly involved with their care e.g.: maintenance. Millers Grange is small but this allows for a personal approach to care where everyone is part of a caring
community.

My husband recently came to Millers Grange for 2 weeks of respite. Having heard very favourable reports about Millers Grange we were ready to see for ourselves. The manager and staff assured us that my husband would be safe and well cared for. My daughter and I can now confidently confirm that he
was safe and well cared for.
As a high-risk, vulnerable person, every provision was put in place for his safety. The staff are so friendly and the welcome you receive is an attitude that staff maintain effortlessly. Nothing is too much trouble and the recommendations that we made were implemented and encouraged. There is a really positive staff/resident ratio and from our observations, the staff are accommodating, approachable and friendly.
The well being app for relatives of residents at Millers Grange allowed me to follow daily reports of activities that my husband enjoyed which I found reassuring.
We would have no hesitation in using Millers Grange again for respite care.

I think the best way to evaluate Millers Grange is through my mother's eyes, and she is extremely happy with all aspects of her new life - her room, the food, the friendly and helpful carers and the facilities more generally. Having initially rented a room on a short-term respite basis, with some
reservations - this, without prompting, and after only a few days, turned into a decision to stay as she was so happy in her new surroundings. I am impressed with the way that my mother was welcomed to the home and put at ease, the way that staff interact so considerately with residents and involve them in a range of activities, the excellent help and advice received from the outset from their management team and the way that the building itself is presented and maintained. I live a considerable distance away and, for me, the most important aspect is that I feel reassured, every time I visit or speak to her over the phone, that my mother is happy and in safe and caring hands.

Mum initially booked 2 weeks respite whilst I took my family on holiday, albeit Mum had reservations beforehand about staying at a care home, and agreed to try out whilst we were away, her prior perception based upon care homes of the past. After 2 days Mum was saying how lovely the home was, how
very friendly all the staff were and that the food was excellent. Upon our return from holiday, Mum said it was so nice that she wished to stay permanently. The daily activities are posted a week ahead, with regular organised visits, the highlight this week to Boscombe beach rounded off with fish and chips and ice cream. My personal thanks to all the staff at Millers Grange for making Mum so welcome, with a special mention to the manager at Millers Grange, making the whole experience from the initial visit through to Mum's residency such a success.

What a great place, Millers Grange is. I had heard it was the best in Witney and was lucky enough to get Mum in fairly quickly - thank goodness.
The staff on arrival were really caring and helpful. It made the move much easier than I thought it would. Visitors are encouraged and welcomed in every
visit. Reception welcome you with a friendly smile.
The permanent staff team are kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble. The social team are friendly and encouraging and put on lots of activities for the residents.
I can recommend that the move into care for my Mum was easier with the staff and building that Millers Grange provide. She is happy in the situation and encouraged to stay as independent as she can be while needing more help in her old age.
A great setting and purpose build home with beautiful gardens.
Food is good and lots of choice offered.
All in all a great place for your relatives that need more care in their old age. Thank you.

My gran has now been living at Millers Grange for nearly 18 months on the Dementia floor. Despite a difficult time settling in at the beginning she has now adjusted to her new life in the care home with the support of all the staff is now much more relaxed. She now has the confidence and familiarity
with staff to regularly participate in activities such as live music sessions and even a visit to the local day centre. Overall we are very happy with the care my gran receives and as a family are always made to feel very welcome.
