View Full Details of Parkfield GrangeMy aunt was repatriated to UK after an accident on a cruiseship. Arriving at Parkfield Grange she was very weak, barely walking and lost all confidence. From the moment we arrived at P.G we were welcomed as family. Nothing was too much trouble and although her stay has been short (2 weeks) every member of staff has treated her as a relative. She has been so well looked after that she is returning to her home almost back to full strength. This was the best decision we made and would not hesitate to encourage her to return if she needed support. Brilliant!!
Truly outstanding care received by my mother for over 3 1/2 years. It is a wonderful home with great facilities but most importantly, the Carers and everyone who works there are totally professional, extremely caring, compassionate and respectful. My mother was looked after so well and she really did consider Parkfield to be her home. It is a happy place to live and the food is excellent (especially the cakes!). I could not recommend Parkfield more highly - I'd like to book myself in.
From the minute you walk through the reception door every aspect is very professional and welcoming. All the staff are kind & courteous, during a difficult time our family and my mother in law have found the complete experience to be of a very high standard.
Very few times in life do you come across somewhere that is run so professionally. I cant fault the staff, the way they care for ma and interact with her. The first time I came here to visit ma the staff new all about me because they had taken an interest in her stories. Not only do they look after your loved ones in here but when you visit you are well looked after too. The staff all seem so happy here which shows in the care they give and the attention to detail. Yes it is on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and I personally I think it very good value for money.
Mum originally came to Parkfield Grange for respite care. The level of care she is receiving is of such a high standard she has decided to stay. I can rest assured she is having all her needs meet in a loving professional way. All the staff have shown my mum a high level of compassion.
You have always been very cooperative, kind and welcoming when I visited mother. It was always a pleasure to see how happy comfortable she was and surrounded by lovely staff who were always so kind to her. She loved the star and they seem to have a good respect for her too It was unfortunate due to her blindness that she could not take part in a lot of the activities, but the ones that she could do she enjoyed. Everything was spotless and the bathroom was clean and all the staff were very vigilant about personal hygiene Not the not got the best appetite but what she did eat she enjoyed and although only have a meal at night she loved the company on the table. We would strongly recommend Parkfield Grange to any of our friends as we felt the personal touches we are excellent All the staff were easy to talk to and tried very hard to help if and when necessary
Parkfield Grange has a homely feel to it . My father refers to it as a cruise ship and calls his room his cabin. The Home Admissions Advisor and the team are second to none and can't do enough for us . They really make it home from home.
Really lovely welcoming environment, friendly staff, excellent standards of care, exceptionally clean and a great range of activities. The home has a lovely feel about it. We cannot thank the Home Admissions Advisor and the team at Parkfield Grange enough. They have been amazing.
Dad only moved in to Parkfield at the end of January. He was made very welcome and we hoped his quality of life would greatly improve. Unfortunately his health declined quickly and unexpectedly but staff cared and supported him, encouraging him to get up and about when possible. He suffered a number of falls which were unavoidable and he moved into end of life care. Staff were diligent in making him as comfortable as possible and were very attentive to family needs at a difficult time. Sadly dad died without really enjoying all the facilities Parkfield has to offer. The family is very grateful for the care and support received.
I chose Parkfield Grange as it's said to have a good reputation and it's recommended by the surgeon who carried out my hip replacement. This has certainly proved to be the case especially when I had pain in the chest and staff called an ambulance and went to hospital. On my return the good service resumed and I have to say I'm so pleased to have come here and would do so again if necessary.
My lovely mum had 4 weeks of excellent respite care at Parkfield Grange. It gave us valuable breathing space to sort out care going forwards (relocation to be nearer to me) and during her stay she was well fed and received kind and compassionate care from the wonderful manager and his team.
Parkfield is a lovely place. Care was second to none and they really looked after my mother very well. Staff are well trained and very caring. Highly recommended.
Very pleased my wife came straight from hospital. She had time to recover and all round the staff and the service they have given is very good. She is very pleased with her stay here.
Choosing care facilities for a loved one is a frightening experience. Parkfields from the start alleviates your fears. All of the care staff share one characteristic in common and that is they are all very kind. Whilst care is professional there is a very relaxed feeling about the care home. My mother arrived 6 months ago, she took time to settle as I was worried but now I rest easy knowing she is safe, warm but above all happy. In the circumstances Parkfields have achieved everything in my family.
Most impressed with the home, more like an up market hotel than a residential home, but it was the staff that that I noticed most. They were to a person helpful, friendly and genuinely gave the impression they knew their job and enjoyed working there. I have visited people in a number of homes over the years and nothing comes close to this one. My Godfather feels safe, very well cared for and content, he is now a permanent resident, also your meals are something else. Well done.
I've found all the staff at Parkfield Grange really kind and caring. My friend, who resides here, always says how kind the staff are. The environment is warm and welcoming. Rooms are a very good size with excellent amenities. I've appreciated the fact that anyone can help themselves to drinks and cakes etc. each day. Being here when there was a choral group singing was a real treat! Also, the care home's attention to the wishes of my friend when she is nearing her end of life and subsequently has been equally caring and kind.
The rooms are clean, and modern and feel like a mini 5-star hotel. The carers are friendly and build up a nice rapport with Mum. The food is good and Mum likes going to the dining room. She has started doing the social events which is good for her happiness.
My dad has been a resident for about 3 months now and wow, what a change in his well-being and confidence. He has come on leaps with everything. Being fed healthy good food is a prime factor in this, alongside the wealth of great care from the staff. This ranges from many of the departments, not just the carers. Everyone is friendly and considerate and always has a smile on their face. Nothing is too much trouble to make my dad comfortable and his health is closely monitored. Parkfield Grange has far exceeded my expectations. The smile on my dad's face says it all. Thank you.
My dad initially went into Parkfield for respite care but circumstances have changed and he has decided he loves it so much he's staying! He is enjoying the sociability of it and has made many friends and the food is incredible. I know he is well looked after and cared for and that is a big weight off my mind. Thank you from all of us.
As part of respite stay my Grandma has enjoyed her stay so far. The staff are kind and caring. The food is good and the rooms are always tidy.
