My aunt has been a resident just over a year, and she is very happy at Holbeach Meadows. The staff are all very friendly and professional, and have built up a great relationship with her. They offer and encourage her with personal care, and they are always willing to have a chat with her, which is
very important to Ann. Staff are always welcoming when i visit, and the management team are very responsive and proactive. I get regular updates, and im kept informed regarding any health needs and appointments. The activities programme is fantastic for all and the events are so well planned and families are always welcome and included.

Overall, I am happy with the room given. My husband is very emotional, so he gives the impression he is unhappy, but I think after 6 months here, he's finally settled.
He does enjoy the social activities, and I am pleased he is encouraged to join in
I think he is not always offered enough to
drink, but I think he does enjoy his meals.

Holbeach Meadows is the best for my husband. His care is excellent, and nothing seems too much trouble. His room always looks like a hotel room - clean, tidy, fresh bedding, etc. Since Mick has been here, I can sleep at night and never worry. Thank you to all for the excellent care.

We have found the care home to be a great place for our dad to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and have kept us updated regarding his welfare. He is happy to be around other people, even if he is not joining in the activities. His room is kept clean and tidy and feels homely.

My sister was recently in here for 2 weeks' respite. She's of sound mind and physically disabled. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Assured fully staff.. not the case, 3 staff to approx 30 occupied rooms. Falty paperwork. Regular catheter checks are not done. Left in own urine as too busy for over 2 hours.
Dementia patients wander in and won't leave, using your private bathroom and floor and floor. Another threw a plate of food on sister's bed. Buzzers were not answered very quickly. Lovely building (3 years old) and amazingly kind carers (bar one). Food not good. Paperwork re your needs not read. Fetched her out early. Mix dementia and sound-minded, and it does not work.

My pops moved into Holbeach meadows in January after a stay in hospital, he could no longer look after himself independently. As much as we wanted him to go home and live his day to day life we knew he needed the extra help. Since moving in he has had such good care! The activities team provide
activities that let him socialise and be around others which he wouldn't do so much at home, they are so upbeat and give a sense of purpose and happiness. Each person that works there has the upmost respect for the residents and provide personalised care! I couldn't recommend them enough.

Such a helpful and welcoming home. Without the help from Meadows Care Home and the use of their facilities myself and my mum would struggle tremendously. Gemma, and indeed all the staff have been amazing and I am very grateful to all.

My mother came into the home in October. The care and service cannot be faulted. The staff go out of there way to make my mum feel loved and cared for. There's always plenty of activities going on. A truly amazing care home.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful patience and care given to ny mother who has moved here from another care home. We were conscious that if would really affect her as she has early dementia and is 94 but they have helped settle her in and cared for her as if she was their own family.
We are so pleased we moved her as she is now much closer to where we live.

Holbeach Manor looks the part but be wary of the actual level of care. Always short staffed (or that is the reason given for failings), and no response to formal complaints. Manager is a brilliant salesperson, we naively believed the pitch. Too much time spent making decorations and playing Hungry
Hippos instead of basic care. Food items frequently not available.

As a relative, I am so proud of the manager and staff team for achieving an outstanding rating with the regulator.
This is well deserved, and I am grateful that Mum is cared for by outstanding staff. (they really are!)

My mom came into Holbeach Meadows Care Home in April 25. I cannot believe how well she has settled, she absolutely loves the company, staff and home. I wish we had made the decision sooner for Mum to be here. Highly recommend this home. Mum loves the activities and is happy to try anything. So
grateful to all the staff for making my mum happy.
I asked my mum what she thinks to her new home, as follows: the home is smart, nice and clean. Gets looked after very well, plenty to do and loves all the staff, I think one happy Mum.

The Meadows is suiting my mother in law, who went in for respite care and is now a permanent resident.
The rooms are homely, comfortable and airy.
The manager is receptive and the receptionist is outstanding; she always has a warm welcome.
My mother in law is thriving here.
A challenging job,
but some staff just need to smile and welcome visitors more.

Always a warm welcome by the front of house manager or his colleague. Mum is currently upset with the loss of Ruby, her dog, which seems to have made her withdrawn. The staff very approachable and the home is bright, clean and well run.
Thank you to the whole team.

In sum, Holbeach Meadows has made a difficult transition for my mum simpler and easier. Communication between the staff and my family has always been clear and productive. They have consistently actioned problems raised and made a substantial effort to really get to know mum.
