My Mother has been a resident here for over two years and I must say we a very pleased with the care she has received
Any issues are delt with promptly and the care is a very high standard
I would recommend this home to anyone

From the day mum moved to Merlin Manor she has been given the greatest respect and care as if she was the staff's own family. Recently her health deteriorated and the support and what I can only describe as love was shown to mum and myself was amazing.
The attention and support she was given at a
time when she was at the most vulnerable time of her life showed no bounds. Anything she needed was provided in no time; taking care of her needs and wishes. Staff working in care homes rarely get the recognition they deserve for the hard work and effort they put in when caring for residents. I have the greatest respect for team Merlin and would like to say a massive thank you to them for their care and support.

My father in law has been here about six months now. Everything about this facility is positive in my opinion:
Staff - Kind, Patient, Friendly and Understanding.
Facilities and Building - Welcoming and inviting to visitors and family members alike.
Food and Dining Areas - Excellent,
Comfortable, Well laid out.
Bedrooms and Living Areas - Comfortable and as much like home as you could possibly expect.
Entertainment and Social Activities - Excellent.
My mother in law has recently joined her husband (On a different floor as she has different needs) and she is settling in really well. I honestly can't say anything bad about Merlin Manor and it's always a pleasure to visit and see how happy my relatives are in there.

I think the overall experience of the whole its service is marvelous it is good value for money, security is marvelous, nothing too much for them its clean and tidy in always good do you anything you want is no trouble. The overall cleanliness is absolutely high standard, and you are treated with
dignity.

I was very upset that my husband had to go into a home but we couldn't have picked a better one, he has settled well (due to the staff) which I am very grateful for.

Dad has settled really well since arriving in the home. Due to the amazing staff! It has put our family's mind at ease tremendously.

I am very happy with the care given to my mother in law. She is always treat with respect and dignity at all times.
We are always kept informed of any changes.
The manager is always very approachable and is an excellent manager.

I couldn't ask for a better home for my mother. The staff and facilities are all first class. Merlin Manor is a wonderful place.

Myself and my family are very happy with the care our mother is receiving in Merlin Manor. She is also very happy to be here and is content with her care, the staff and the food. We have no worries about our mother since she moved into Merlin Manor.

My mum in law Agnes is having so much more social interaction since she moved into Merlin Manor. Today she has been to the cafe for coffee and cake. Yesterday she spent the morning dancing to music and the afternoon enjoying watching the under 4s playing including her very own great granddaughter.
She seems very content.

I have found that since my nana has been in Merlin Manor, the care and the staff have improved significantly.
The staff are always helpful, pleasant and professional.

The care received is excellent, most members of the team (those I have met) feel like family members and go above and beyond for my mum.
When mum first arrived, it took time for me to accept the situation, however I was supported and considered as important too. The senior team are brilliant, the
care staff carrying out day to day care look after her every need and keep us informed. They are funny, kind and accepting of mum.

I visit the home occasionally and it always appears to be a nice friendly environment and Tony seems to be content. Food looks good and the layout of the home is good. His room is quite good and he seems happy with it.

Merlin Manor is a lovely, spacious care home. My dad is very happy in Merlin Manor, he loves the food and the staff. The staff are all friendly, caring and professional. They take really good care of my dad. Carol, who runs the care home, is very approachable and is very involved with the residents
and their care.

Care home in general is very good but do need to have more communication with family as sometimes thing are said that is not needed to say, and be more informative about there health and things that may need doing regarding health care. On the whole v. good but can be made better, + improvement
made. The staff are v. good as this is a big care home and a lot to do with the staff they have got working.

Merlin Manor is a very bright, modern nursing home, it has a very relaxed feel and the staff are friendly and always happy to help, the food is good and always varied, Tony always enjoys and clears his plate. Everywhere is kept clean and tidy. Tony enjoys joining in my fun things that are going on

Having tried two previous care home within the Hartlepool area, my mother's placement at Merlin Manor has proven to be by far the best choice. The care and support she has received has been of a really high standard with the staff and management always willing to go the extra mile, whatever our
requests. In our experience the entertainment is really good and helps so much with my mother too. A special mention to Josh, who is one of the seniors.

Staff are excellent, just like a family (Margo's words). Margo loves the singers and activities that are provided. Staff attend to the residents all day and provide a lovely atmosphere (again Margo's words). From my point of view Mother is in the best place possible. Excellent. 10 out of 10!!!

Celebrating Mam's 80th Birthday with Merlin staff was such a lovely day, they made a fuss of her and enjoyed her 80th birthday with her.
Very kind caring staff
