View Full Details of Wilmslow Manor Care CentreThe staff are absolutely brilliant - nothing is too much trouble. Their attitude, help and general approach enormously helped mum settle in.
The manager and the entire team at Wilmslow Manor have been incredibly welcoming to my mother, who was recently admitted. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff have been exceptional. The food is excellent, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The team consistently go above and beyond to ensure my mother's comfort, even offering a carrot to our dog during a visit. An incredibly thoughtful touch that really stood out. Staff handle delicate matters with great sensitivity, preserving my mother's dignity and making these conversations feel respectful and kind. Their empathy and professionalism have made a world of difference to our family. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Wilmslow Manor. I cannot recommend it highly enough!,
All the staff at Wilmslow manor are exceptional in the service they provide to the residents and their family. My mother in law came here on respite and is now a permanent resident. She is so happy here and talks very highly of all the staff. Her needs are met to a high standard and she is extremely happy to the point of not wanting to leave.
Such an amazing care home! Staff are always so welcoming & the standard of care is exceptional. I'm lucky to live close so was able to visit my Mum most days for 2 years (Residential dementia). How staff interact with residents & how residents respond to staff was magical. Some of the most precious interactions I witnessed brought me tears. To see residents so happy, to the point that some would regularly hug or plant a loving 'maternal' kiss on the cheeks of staff was priceless & most humbling to witness. This is also something my Mum would do often because she loved every single member of staff, no matter what their role was, simply because she was so well cared for and I always looked forward to visiting . My Mum's dementia journey is now over and although I miss her terribly (not the dementia), I didn't expect to miss Wilmslow Manor & our 'extended' family as much as I do. This certainly wasn't a grief I was prepared for, but goes to shows what an incredible place it is.
After spending several weeks in hospital, I was taken to Wilmslow Manor Care Home for respite care before I could return home. During the twenty-five days I was there I received nothing but the best care and treatment in the most clean and luxurious surroundings. The room was spotless and comfortable and the food was varied and extremely good. The nurses and all the support staff were excellent in anticipating and catering for my needs and welfare and I can not praise them highly enough. I am sure that this helped a great deal with my recovery.
Viewed 4 homes when needing residential care for active lady with dementia. The staff were really understanding of our requirements & listened to our concerns. We felt understood & reassured that this was the best care home for us. It's modern, bright friendly & clean. The bedrooms are a great size , the bathroom is lovely. The gorgeous garden setting is a great place to be when visiting. This is like a home not a care home.
I viewed several homes for mum . Her care package was no longer suitable at home . Wilmslow Manor stood out as being a great place to chose for respite care . All the staff at my initial visit were warm and welcoming. One staff member came out to visit mum in her own home to assess her needs. The manager has been prompt in answering any queries. It's a huge decision to make to leave your own home . It was always mum's wish to remain at home . The care given in her first week in respite persuaded mum that she was safer and in kind hands and she has decided to stay . It's the little things that have made the difference. Mum has enjoyed others company at meals and in the lounge and her quality of life has improved. She has been able to ask for poached egg for breakfast if she fancies it , a bowl of ice cream and showers which she was unable to have in her flat . I know although it's hard to let go of your home , staff will help mum to feel at home .
My aunt moved into Wilmslow Manor in January 2025 and has been treated with dignity, care and kindness from the entire staff team. All the staff are friendly and professional and go the extra mile in their job role. The home is very clean with beautiful decor and a lovely atmosphere. The entertainment team is amazing with lots of various activities each week that my aunt really enjoys. My aunt is treated as an individual in her preferences and values. She has found a new joy for life thanks to the amazing staff. I would not hesitate in recommending this care home and thank you again to the manager and staff for all your hard work and kindness.
The day we went to look around Wilmslow Manor we knew straight away, that was the place we wanted for mum. The decor is beautiful and airy, everywhere is so clean and each and every one of the staff are amazing. They literally think of every little detail to make life as comfortable as it can be and always go the extra mile. My mum has been at Wilmslow Manor for 2 1/2 years now and we are so happy with the care. I would highly recommend.
Very responsive action to any issues that arise - always do their best to resolve issues & concerns. In particular, the head of care has been very helpful and proactive - answers my emails promptly. The activities provided are excellent - so diverse! The maintenance manager is superb - he has been trying for weeks to resolve the issue with the satellite dish to enable my husband to watch TV. The problem is with the dish & needs to be sorted by the owners of the care home.
My Dad had been a resident at Wilmslow Manor since January 2025 following a sudden deterioration in his health. As a family, we have a number of people working as health professionals, and as such have extremely high expectations in regards to how we hoped Dad would be treated. I have to say, since the first day all of the staff exceeded those expectations with every interaction with Dad and with us as a family. Dad became very unwell last week and passed peacefully Friday evening. I have never seen staff offer such compassion, care, dignity and respect in all of my years working in healthcare. As a family we cannot express how the staff made this difficult situation so much more comforting. We all knew Dad was being looked after, and that offered us the reassurance we needed. Although all of the staff were amazing I feel we have to name 7 staff members in particular. Thank you so much for all that you did. This home is simply outstanding!!
What can I say about the Care Home other than it is outstanding! The staff are so invested in providing exceptional and bespoke care for the residents. The facilities, activities, food and hospitality are excellent and the building is spotless. My father-in-law had issues settling in at first because he was so independent beforehand. However, the staff enabled him to retain as much independence as he could given his condition, meaning it was very dignified for him. He worked his way from residential floor through to the nursing floor, where he passed peacefully away in line with his final wishes and those of the family. Management and the whole team are like a family and I will forever think of them as an extension of my own given how they cared for our family member.
Over the past few weeks I have visited Wilmslow Manor several times to see my 93 year old Aunty. The atmosphere at this Care Home is wonderful. All the staff from reception, management, and carers have been exceptional. My Aunty has been cared for with great kindness and respect and I couldn't wish for anything better.
My husband has been cared for at Wilmslow Manor the last four months. He has a diagnosis of Lewy Body dementia and the staff did all they could to help him settle into a new environment following a spell in hospital. The staff all seem to enjoy their work and always have a welcoming smile whenever I go to visit. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel confident that my husband is safe and is well cared for.
Lovely facilities and atmosphere - amazing, kind, caring team. Nothing too much trouble and such understanding of the residents Very well managed and maintained. Lots of activities and effort made to include everyone.
Mum had a struggle settling in. The staff have been so supportive and caring for both of us, gently encouraging her and assuring me. The Manor is beautiful. The staff so welcoming and kind. Mum is doing so much better now. Thank you.
Very welcoming atmosphere. All the staff are very professional and make sure the care is first class for the residents. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The home has alot of very good facilities I have been visiting a freind who is very happy there and feels at home.
After my independent father of 92 was taken ill after Christmas he was in hospital and then sent to The Manor Care Home Wilmslow, for rehabilitation. He was treated with total respect and care, they helped to build up his confidence and reassured him. All of the care workers work very hard to make this care home the wonderful place that it is. I would 100% recommend this care home for anybody who is considering care for a loved one.
This place is amazing! And I have experience of other care homes which also try hard to do a good job but this place is just on another level! My father has been a resident on the dementia floor for 19 months and I visit him once or twice a week so I know how this place works very well now. The carers are extremely good, not only are they highly professional and qualified but they are deeply empathetic. Just one example: I often see them holding residents hands and stroking their backs to show the residence love as well as professional care. The food is first class, which is very important - meals are definitely something to look forward to for residence and visitors are like! The entertainment team are also fantastic! They organise simple inclusive events that go down very well. Finally, on the 16th of February 2025 the catering team and carers organised a beautiful 94th birthday party for my dad which will live in my memory always.
My uncle is very happy and healthy at Wilmslow Manor. I'd highly recommend it! They have gone the extra mile to find him small jobs and responsibilities which helps him keep his mind active which is very important for his neurodivergence traits.
