View Full Details of Statham Manor Care CentreMy dad transferred to Statham Manor following 3 weeks in hospital. He had been very poorly and required additional care, rehab and physio to enable him to be well enough to return home. The care provided at Statham Manor has been exceptional 5* and we couldn't thank all of the staff and carers for looking after my dad brilliantly.
You only get one chance to make a good first impression and at Statham Manor the front of house receptionist understands this concept very well. Highly professional but at the same time instantly building a close and harmonious relationship with visiting relatives. She goes the extra mile for everyone who walks in or walks out. I was a hotel manager for 20 years so I know when someone is exceptional at front of house reception based on my own experience.
My mum has been in Statham Manor for 2 weeks respite care following a hip replacement. She can't speak highly enough of the care she has received. The staff have been amazing, the environment has ben great and she has loved the food. I would not hesitate to recommend Statham Manor to anyone.
My mother spent 2 months in Statham Manor Care Centre. The building is modern and very clean. The staff were positive, sensitive, kind, caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. She received exceptional and compassion care right to the end. Thank you.
This was a really lovely care home. The rooms are very nice and all the staff very attentive. The food is really good and the staff did their best to help my mum find something she liked when she lost her appetite. My only criticism is that the chairs in the bedrooms aren't suitable for the elderly, the price increased significantly (over £100 a week) while my mum was a resident, and for the cost, I wouldn't have expected the family to have to buy a chair for her to sit in.
My husband came to Statham Manor for respite care for 2 weeks after a week in general hospital where he was treated for UTI. As always the hospital care was excellent as is the care at Statham Manor. The staff are kind and caring. The food and service is excellent. It is reassuring that medical care is available if necessary and the district nurses can continue their visits under the supervision of the general practice.
Mum has been in Statham Manor Care Centre for a period of rehabilitation after a month in hospital with pneumonia. She has been made very comfortable and has been well looked after. Food has been good and the staff are very friendly and caring.
The home is well-appointed, comfortable and very clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. However, there seems to be a high turnover at present. Management could improve communication about key staffing changes as this is important to us to know who is looking after our loved one.
Very happy with all aspects of the service and care provided for my father upon receiving an end-of-life diagnosis. We also appreciate the sensitivity and care towards us as visitors to the home. With many thanks.
I (and my family) cannot speak highly enough of Statham Manor. From a friendly, warm welcome in, to a beautiful and clean home, to the responsive and safe care delivered by a wonderful and genuinely caring team. It is quite easy to see that this home is well-led. All staff introduced themselves, they explained their roles and knew who to approach if they could not answer my questions. My mother could not have been better looked after. Superb care - thank you!
I can highly recommend Statham Manor Care Home. All the staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The nursing staff kept accurate, detailed records of drug administration and ensured that tablets were given within safe time periods. There was always a very wide choice of food at meal times and lovely tasty meals. The care staff were really helpful, easy to talk to and responded quickly to requests for help.
From the minute you walk in, a lovely greeting and anything isn’t a problem. The care given to my parents is second to none, and even when I lost them four days apart, there were genuine tears and condolences. Absolutely spotless and a beautiful place to stay. Keep up the brilliant work, guys, and thank you so much.
Mum is well looked after and seems comfortable. She is often confused, and the staff are very patient and caring with her. The food is excellent and nutritious, and Mum enjoys most things offered to her. A safe and caring place to be at the end of life. Thank you.
My 94-year-old mother stayed in Statham Manor for a week’s respite care. She has previously stayed in a different care home for a short period last year but she hated that, so we were uncertain how she would take to being in Statham Manor. However, we need not have worried. She has enjoyed being there. It’s clean, modern, well designed with all the facilities necessary for an older person and the staff could not have been more welcoming. Thank you to all the staff who have looked after her.
Throughout my stay at Statham Manor Care Centre, I have received nothing but excellent care from all the staff; love, care and smiles have been so helpful when I have been feeling down in spirits and for that alone, I shall be eternally thankful!
Very good.
It is a lovely place. Lovely staff, always knock before entering (nice). Staff are very willing to help you with anything. Food is good. Bed is comfortable.
Amazing place. Staff on second floor absolutely wonderful. All friendly, kind and considerate. Food is wonderful as well. Guaranteed to help fill you up after being ill. Having access to a local G.P if you have a problem is also an excellent thing for someone like me who has had numerous small things develop whilst here.
I cannot recommend Statham Manor enough. The staff and the facilities on the whole are outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for my mother and the staff ensured an extremely stressful time for Mum was eased beyond belief for her and myself. A huge thank you to them all for their kindness, friendliness and professionalism.
Excellent care, only one criticism: no physio, very disappointed during stay. My husband, who is struggling to walk, needed this, but was only seen by physio once during period of stay, which was seventeen days.
