My dad was at Watermead Rose Care Home for 3 weeks respite following his knee operation. All the staff have been very kind, caring and have tended to all of dad's needs as and when needed. He has enjoyed his stay and the care he received.The care home even helped make arrangements for my dad to be brought to my daughters wedding with a carer, which meant a lot to me, my daughter and to dad.Thank you!

My mother was admitted due to end-of-life care. Over her 3 months' stay, the visiting family were made to feel welcome at all times/any time of the day. All the staff always acknowledged your presence with a warm smile, giving a welcoming atmosphere. The management were equally pleasant with an open-door policy for any queries/issues. Regular updates on my mother's condition were forthcoming. Two improvements: 1) Staff sometimes need reminding of care duties, 2) Premises are lacking air conditioning in rooms, some of which can get very hot in summer.

Brought both my parents in for a 2 week respite following my father's fall, nothing was too much trouble to look after them, and what a difference it made after a good rest and good food. Hope they decide to stay.

I had a three-week short break, during which time I was welcomed and supported by everyone. Unfortunately, some of my underwear went missing when it went for laundry, but it meant I could have some new items, so a blessing in disguise. I would stay at Watermead again.

Although my mum was only with you for 5 weeks. The care and attention given to her was outstanding. Every effort was made to include her in the activities and make her comfortable in her final days. We would definitely recommend Watermead Rose Nursing Home to anyone who was interested.

A care home that feels like a home! This care home gave my mum a comfortable home-from-home experience for the last five weeks of her life. All of the staff from management to carers, receptionists, activity staff, cooks, cleaners and maintenance are all fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

My mother has been in Watermead Rose for 3 months now. The way she was when she came here to how she is now are worlds apart, for the better for my mother. The care she gets and how she is treated are brilliant here.

We are so thankful to all the staff at Watermead Rose. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of warmth and genuine care. The team treat residents with kindness, dignity, and respect, and it is clear that they go above and beyond every single day. My mum is so well looked after here - her needs are met with patience and compassion, and she is always encouraged to join in and feel part of the home's community. The staff not only provide excellent personal care, but they also take the time to really get to know her, which makes such a difference. The home itself is welcoming, clean, and has a lovely family feel. The meals are thoughtful and nutritious, and the activities are engaging and tailored to different abilities and interests. Most importantly, we have complete peace of mind knowing that mum is safe, happy, and valued. Thank you to everyone at Watermead Rose for the outstanding care and support you give - it means the world to us.

My mum has been in the Watermead Rose Nursing Home for just under two months with Alzheimer's, she came in for respite and ended up staying. The staff and management are fantastic and cannot fault them for going above and beyond for my mum's care. Thank you.

From day one of my husband arriving at Watermead I knew he was going to be looked after. We have had experience of the care home system and I can honestly say Watermead Rose is 5 star care, from every aspect housekeeping, care and support you are the best. Its only been a couple of months but the difference in my husband is wonderful he looks well and fresh. His personal care is second to none as a family we can't thank you enough. I have regular up dates on any changes and we all feel part of the Watermead Family. I know know we have found his forever home. Thank you.

My mother has been in Watermead Rose for the past two weeks. She has enjoyed her respite stay. Made some new friends, enjoyed the daily activities. The staff have made her stay lovely going above and beyond. She has enjoyed the lovely food which she has had a wide variety of choices. I would like to thank the wonderful team for all the support with care. I highly recommend Watermead Rose to anyone looking for a very welcoming home or respite for a loved one. I will be using Watermead again and again knowing how happy and comfortable they have made my mother.

Lovely caring home, all staff polite and professional whilst also being caring and kind. Could not do enough to help mother to settle in and enjoy her stay. Food choices were great and varied, the activities were brilliant and the activities staff ensured that all could take part.

My husband had to spend the last 6 weeks of his life in nursing care and he could not have received more expert or considerate care. Likewise his family were given warm and indeed loving support at this very sad time.

Loving, caring staff. Showed my mother the dignity she deserved right up to her final days when she passed away. The manager and his team went the extra mile not only for my mother but also for us as a family. 10 out of 10 regards the staff. Lovely location, very clean rooms. Thank you for everything you have done. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work. You are amazing.

Although our time at Watermead Rose was brief, just 12 hours, it left a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like part of the family. Every question we had, no matter how small or unsure it felt, was answered with genuine care and knowledge. Our visit was during a very difficult time, as our loved one was receiving end-of-life care. The compassion, communication, and commitment shown by the staff were truly second to none. They didn't just care for our loved one they cared for us too. We were regularly checked on, offered tea, coffee, and food, and made to feel as supported as our loved one. After her passing, the kindness we received was deeply moving-sincere, thoughtful, and offered as if from a family member. We are so grateful for the dignity and love shown in those final hours. We would wholeheartedly recommend Watermead Rose to anyone seeking not just professional care, but human kindness at its finest.
