My father arrived at Watermead Rose from hospital in June 2025 on palliative care, with a prognosis of only 3 months to live. Today he is back home, and this is entirely due to the wonderful care and professionalism shown by the nurses, carers and management. We cannot thank all the staff enough for
their kindness, dedication, and unwavering support. The facilities at Watermead Rose are exceptional, and there is always so much happening to engage and entertain the residents and their families. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend Watermead Rose to any family in need of compassionate and high-quality care.

From the very first day my husband came to live in Watermead Rose Care Home, myself and my family just knew it was going to be his forever home. We felt so relieved and grateful for the support and love from the management and staff. We instantly felt part of the special Watermead Rose Family. My
husband was only with you for a short six months when he sadly passed away. The love and respect we were shown by all the staff was exceptional and genuine. We can never put into words the thanks and gratitude we feel for what you all mean to us. We will never forget the Watermead Rose Family.

My mum is staying at Watermead for end of life care. I could not be happier with the care being given. She is treated with dignity and such kindness. The staff are truly amazing, not just with my mum, but also lending me emotional support when needed. I feel blessed that my mum is at Watermead and
receiving the care that she is. Mona in particular is a stand out member of the team. She has such warmth with the residents and nothing is ever too much trouble. She always makes time if I have any questions or concerns.
Thank you Watermead Rose.

The care shown to my Aunty Doreen in her final days was second to none. Staff treated my aunt with love, care, humour and dignity. As well as being so supportive to our family.
My Aunt was extremely well cared for from housekeeping, catering, nursing and care plans. Her views were paramount and
listened to. An extra special mention to Mona who was an angel in our time of sorrow, she did take my place as I dashed across the county to be by her side. I will be forever grateful. Nursing/ palliative care will treat your loved one like family. I can assure you of that - I have high standards and these were met. 5 stars
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

When my brother and I first visited Watermead Rose in April 2025 on our search for a suitable care home for our elderly mother who has extremely limited mobility, we were both impressed by the vibe, the cleanliness, the quality and layout of the bedrooms and social areas, and, in particular, the
friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we met.
This continues to be the case over the eight months since our mother became a resident.
The staff are looking after her health and well-being in exemplary caring and patient fashion. We specifically wanted a care home with nursing provision, and the nursing team are proactive and keep us updated on her needs and the steps taken to meet them, including arranging visits from GPs, chiropodists and appointments at the on-site hairdressing salon. The food always looks delicious and there is a busy activities schedule.

excellent as Watermead Park is very close by and when time.weather permits we visit as often as we can. The whole package of being in Watermead Rose Care Home is excellent.

My mother was admitted due to end-of-life care. Over her 3 months' stay, the visiting family were made to feel welcome at all times/any time of the day. All the staff always acknowledged your presence with a warm smile, giving a welcoming atmosphere. The management were equally pleasant with an
open-door policy for any queries/issues. Regular updates on my mother's condition were forthcoming.
Two improvements: 1) Staff sometimes need reminding of care duties, 2) Premises are lacking air conditioning in rooms, some of which can get very hot in summer.

Brought both my parents in for a 2 week respite following my father's fall, nothing was too much trouble to look after them, and what a difference it made after a good rest and good food. Hope they decide to stay.

I had a three-week short break, during which time I was welcomed and supported by everyone. Unfortunately, some of my underwear went missing when it went for laundry, but it meant I could have some new items, so a blessing in disguise. I would stay at Watermead again.
