Generally very good, staff caring and responsible but room cleaning was erratic, and reminders were sometimes needed. The food - the menu was often unbalanced and the meat in particular was of poor quality. Ordering seemed to be disorganised. At times , often at weekends, there was no orange or
prune juice, no ice cream, no plain yoghurt (the most healthy type) cheese or fresh fruit.

Our auntie stayed here for 1 1/2 years. She was very well looked after by everyone from the staff and management.

A beautiful, modern residential home with every facility for the less abled. Wonderfully comfortable bed with facility to alter height etc. Ensuite well thought out. The staff very friendly and obliging. During my friend's respite stay everything was perfect except the food. My friend felt there
were a lot of 'value' products used and some strange combinations. Not as menu suggests.

Mum came into Tarring Manor in Dec 23 and it was like a luxury hotel with a menu and food to match. Unfortunately due to staff recruitmate, the standards of both food and cleaning have dropped. The staff at present do a wonderful job of caring for mum but there are not enough staff, especially at
weekends. The entertainment team are excellent.

I cannot too highly rate how happy I am having visited Tarring Manor on numerous times in the last 4 weeks. To know that my loved one is in such a caring environment is the greatest comfort and I thank you all at Tarring Manor.

One of the best care homes I have ever seen and visited. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff all of whom were unfailingly polite, kind, helpful and fastidious in the execution of their duties. The food was consistently nutritious as well as being very tasteful and well prepared. Delightful
gardens were well maintained and provided a comfortable and attractive ambience in which to relax and take in the afternoon sun. I would unhesitatingly recommend Tarring Manor to anyone seeking rest and retirement. At the same time there is a good range of activities available.

Our mother required some respite and from the time of initial contact with Tarring Manor we were treated with kindness and understanding. Two members of staff in particular provided excellent service during the initial communications and really took the time to understand the personality and
requirements of our mother.
Upon arrival with Mum, we were all made to feel very welcome and there was some lovely personal touches in her room, which made her feel very special. Mum was taken on a tour of the great facilities and it was wonderful to see a sparkle in her eyes again, that we had not seen for a long time.
Tarring Manor is a lovely place for respite or permanent residency and made extra special by the considerate and attentive staff.

My sister is always cheerful and is well looked after. My wife and I are welcomed on every visit. The atmosphere in the home is very cheerful and welcoming.

I have always been pleased with the care my husband receives. The staff show a great deal of care and have always kept me informed of his condition. They are friendly, caring and supportive. His needs are always met.

My mother stayed at Tarring Manor for palliative care for a few weeks before she died. As a family we cannot thank the manager and another specific staff member enough for their kindness and help during this time. From the moment we made contact with the manager the process was made very easy and
my mother moved into Tarring Manor for the last stage of her life as we could no longer meet her care needs at our home. This enabled her to be in a position to see all her family and friends before she died with 24 hour care. All the carers were lovely and helped her with dressing and washing. We will be forever grateful to you all for her time at Tarring Manor in a lovely room overlooking Tarring Park.

My dad has been in the home for just two weeks now after a four-month spell in hospital. He has settled in and improved massively in that time thanks to the excellent all-round care of the home, its facilities and most importantly its staff. I can't thank them enough.

Mum has been very well cared for at Tarring Manor. The staff are delightful, friendly, and attentive. The building is beautiful, light, spacious and airy.

The staff have also been exceptionally supportive of my Dad as her carer.

The care my Mum received at Tarring Manor was outstanding. The moment she arrived she was greeted by the smiling manager, who warmly welcomed her. The kind and understanding way Mum was spoken to put our family immediately at ease. Unfortunately Mum was not well and only lived at Tarring Manor for a
month but during that time we felt we saw 'our real Mum' again and treasured those precious times. The whole staff showed excellent knowledge of dementia care and always took the extra time to listen to Mum. The deputy manager is amazing and the way she advocated for Mum with medical professionals allowed us a family to focus on Mum.

My father resided at Tarring Manor Care Home for just over ten month until, sadly, he passed away on Boxing day. I have nothing but praise for the care he received both before and during his passing. The staff have always been very attentive and shown great compassion. Thanks to everybody there for
their kindness.

Within one week the staff have rightly assessed Dad's needs and personality. We as a family, knew immediately and instinctively that Tarring Manor Care Home goes beyond meeting Dad's care! Superb staff and start. Thanks to all!

I was having lunch and catch up with an old friend. Lovely to see her. The food was fab and the staff attentive. Feels more like a hotel.
