View Full Details of Langham ManorMy siblings and I are happy with the care dad is receiving at Langham Manor. The staff are friendly, compassionate and caring and management is always happy to answer any questions we might have. The facilities are good and the garden is a real bonus as dad enjoys walking around it and looking at the plants. The food is nutritious and plentiful which is not always the case in other care homes.
In June, we moved my dad into Langham Manor for palliative care. He was there almost 2 1/2 months before passing and unquestionably, we had extra time because of the care and love he received. The caregivers were exceptional! They were so kind and respectful. They talked to my dad and told him funny stories. They made him smile. Their spirit and humour made for a wonderful atmosphere. For us, they were a shoulder to cry on, our strength and always reminded us to eat on the long, hard, emotional days. The entire staff were excellent! Understanding and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was exceptional quality! The rooms are spacious and always kept clean. I had complete trust in the medical team. The special touches of homemade birthday cakes were lovely. We came to Langham Manor at quite a sad time, but somehow they made it okay. They were wonderful and we couldn't be more grateful. We felt their kindness, their love and my dad died peacefully and with dignity. Thank you.
I had the most amazing experience with all the wonderful staff at Langham Manor, The carers/nurses etc went above and beyond and us as a family are so very grateful. I will never forget the way we were treated here, The support, care and compassion was second to none and I genuinely want to thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart. I never expected the level of support, going above and beyond and making our family feel so welcome and at home. Shame about the circumstances but they made my mother's last days dignified and the manager offered incredible support during our short journey. It was nice for my mother to be around friendly faces, In her home town and knowing she was in safe hands. Me and my family can't thank you enough and will certainly make sure you get the recognition you deserve.

I am very happy with the way my husband is looked after. The carers are all very good with him and understand his moods.
Mum has been a resident for 3 months, we cannot fault the environment and standard of fixture and fittings. Mum and ourselves as family including extended family have been made to feel very welcome and supported during her transition by everyone on the team from the management and care staff to the staff working behind the scenes. The care team have taken the time to get to know Mum and her preferences. The activity coordinator has supported Mum to participate in the group activities both in-house and in the wider community ensuring that she feels confident to do so. I feel that this home is the right fit for mum in this next chapter of her life.
Mum said that she would never go into a care home! She moved into Langham Manor, and over the months that followed the care and attention she has received from the staff has won her over. Recently she did not like her hair and wanted it coloured. A member of staff told me that she would do it for her and which dye to buy that would not have to be on for too long. She dyed and blow dried her hair - mum was so happy. She has her nails painted on a regular basis which she loves. Langham Manor has wonderful decor, is really clean, meals are great and staff are very accommodating. There are many activities for residents to take part in. If they wish. The mother's day afternoon tea put on for residents and their families was that of a top notch hotel. The birthday cake that was made for my mum was wonderful. Thank you.
The home is beautiful and well-designed. All the staff and management are very pleasant and caring.
My brother was only in your care for 4 days, where he had excellent care and dignity. The staff that I met from cleaners to nurses etc were so thoughtful and very caring.
My mother spent the last few weeks of her life at Langham Manor. The care and compassion that all the staff showed my mom , was truly amazing, nothing was too much trouble. I can not thank the entire staff enough for all the help they gave myself and my family at such a difficult time. I would recommend this home with out any hesitation.
My mother received excellent care at Langham Manor. We found the deputy manager particularly helpful.
When told we needed a nursing home for my mum it was a shock and a large undertaking to find one that we would be comfortable with and could cater for her changing needs as her health was going to deteriorate at an unknown pace. We vistited a few, some had wonderful views of the coast but were decorated as though from the 1970's; others were newer but were tired. Then we went to Langham Manor in Stowmarket. Thankfully. The home benefits from several wings, each catering for specific needs, whether its residential, mildly confused or more serious health challenges. My mum had a good sized room, en suite and all was purpose built for its intended use, along with the rest of the facility. Staff are brilliant, and all the care assistants as well as the Medical staff and the housekeeping team too! Food was always fresh and plentiful, all the facilities were clean and welcoming. Only negative, is could do with more parking!
I went to Langham Manor to visit my sister. It was her first day there. It was a very positive experience as the staff were all so friendly. My sister was so happy to be there and to be so well cared for.
My mother is a resident in Langham Manor Stowmarket. It was her 96th Birthday just one month after being admitted and they couldn't have been lovelier about it. They really went the extra mile to make her feel special, with a cake and decorations. I know my mum is very happy there and all the carers I have met have been wonderful, patient and caring people. I cannot comment on the food as I have not been there to see it but my mum is happy and is getting what she wants.

Whenever I visit my Aunt there is always a great welcome, all the staff are very friendly and extremely caring to all the residents. I had to wait while my Aunt was being washed and just watching all the staff I thought how lucky she was. They all had time and a friendly face for everyone even though they were very busy.
