We are proud to introduce Jade as our administrator/receptionist. Though this is her first time working in a care home environment, she is used to being customer-facing, which suits her in her role as administrator here at the home.
As the administrator and receptionist, Jade is the first face that residents and visitors see when they come into the home, and she always endeavours to provide a warm, homely feeling of welcome.
Jade feels it has been such a rewarding and meaningful experience since joining Langham and truly loves her job.
From the moment she joined Langham Manor, she has said that she felt welcomed, supported and part of a family. Every day brings new learning experiences, and she looks forward to continuing her journey at Langham Manor.
From a young age, Amelia Bannister was driven by a singular ambition: to become a nurse. Her lifelong passion for caring for others has shaped her career, leading her to focus on providing dedicated, compassionate care to the elderly. Every step of her professional journey has been centred on delivering respectful, individualised care that honours the dignity of her residents.
Amelia’s guiding principle is to treat all residents and their families with the same kindness and respect she would expect for her own family. This commitment underpins her work, whether she’s providing hands-on care to residents or building trust and openness with their loved ones.
For Amelia, nursing is about more than just meeting medical needs; it’s about fostering a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, heard, and genuinely cared for. Each day, she is reminded of the importance of providing not only physical care but also emotional support that is vital to her residents' well-being.
Natasha Streatfield finds immense job satisfaction in her role as Activities Lead at Langham Manor. She loves bringing joy to residents through a variety of activities, whether it’s crafting sessions, lively dance parties, or quality one-on-one time. Natasha is dedicated to creating memorable, engaging days for residents, knowing that each activity—be it a room visit or a group gathering—adds meaning and warmth to their lives.
For Natasha, supporting residents who may not have daily family visits or the opportunity to go out is particularly rewarding. She feels truly humbled to be part of their journey, enhancing their experience of life in a care home and making each day a little brighter.
