Care Homes Owned by Morar Living

My mother aged 101 years has been a resident in Escan Manor for 6 months. I cannot praise the carers enough. From carers to cleaners and management they have all been outstanding. My mother is completely dependent and bedridden. Staff treat her with the utmost respect and honour her wishes. As a visitor I have always felt welcome any time of day. It is truly heartwarming to see such kindness and compassion mixed with great humour. I am so, so grateful that my mother is being well cared for. Thank you all!

Mum arrived at the home on 30th July 2026, the staff on Sugar Mill settled her in and even though she was quite upset they gave her time to relax and sleep. She has been looked after very well, always clean and fresh and a nicely made bed. Although Mum has very limited speech all of the carers take time to talk to her, especially Jemima, the home goes way beyond what we as a family were hoping for, it is spotlessly clean, bright, friendly and above all it doesn't smell. All of the staff, from the manager to the cleaners are very approachable and kind.

Mum moved into Tantallon very recently. As a family we have been impressed with the care received in helping mum settle in and the staff have all been very helpful, answering any questions that we have had as we all adapt to this change in circumstance. The home itself is very welcoming and the staff friendly and approachable; a call out to reception who have been very kind and reassuring. We are pleased to see mum joining in group activities and outings and there appears plenty going on. We feel very lucky to have mum staying at Tantallon, keeping her safe and very well looked after.

On my first visit to Hatfield Manor, I was impressed with the overall appearance (like a hotel), on my daily visits to see my wife. I always found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The staff are always around to help residents. The lounge and quiet rooms are always kept clean and tidy. The home has a magic garden area with comfortable seating, including a BBQ area

Morar Highland is a place of peace and security and much love and care, My Mum arrived just over a month ago to a warmth and care so very genuine that my husband and I had no worries about her safety. Frith and her wonderful team have made Morar Highland a truly happy sanctuary for the very vunerable and frail. My Mum is so very happy and settled, in fact she's putting on weight, the meals are so good. The warmth and kindness of ALL the staff comes from the loving hug generated from Frith herself. We highly recommend this remarkable home.

My wife has been a resident of Tantallon House since November 2023. Her condition has sadly worsened and she is no longer mobile and seldom verbal. The care she has received at Tantallon House has been consistently professional, sympathetic and appropriate. The carers and other staff have also kept me informed of developments, care reviews, etc.

The carers, receptionist and nurses are all very kind and look after my Mum well. She is comfortable there and enjoys the routine that the carehome can offer her. There are also a wide variety of activities on offer.

General standard of care is good with helpful friendly staff and good facilities. Inevitably there are significant numbers of residents with a degree of dementia and the only area of real concern is food where choice is limited and calorific value seems often to be favoured over nutritious value.

Mum has been staying at Langham Manor for the last eight months now and, in that time, has been treated with care and much-needed support. The care team are fantastic, friendly and patient. The management are welcoming and supportive. The home is always clean and well-looked after. I have had no cause for concern and it has been immensely reassuring knowing that Mum is getting the care and attention she needs.

Sincere thanks & appreciation to the kind & caring members of the Team at Oakeshott that have been gently looking after Mum... it's not easy seeing any parent in a nursing home but I'm thankful that all the staff there are so caring...

We are very satisfied with the care my aunt receives in Morar. All her needs are catered for. Her personal care is delivered with care, patience and dignity.

Oakeshott has been an excellent choice for my brother who has complex needs and have all been met with no issues at all, He is very happy here, staff and management are all so friendly, helpful and look happy to be at their work, Rooms are lovely and no complaints about food either , Overall I'd say an excellent home

My father came to Oakeshott in December 2025. He settled in very quickly and was made to feel so welcome by all the care staff. He is still fairly independent but loves that his meals are all prepared for him and that his room is cleaned. He is more content now than ever as he has far fewer worries! The family and Dad are very happy with the care and kindness Dad has been shown and could not recommend Oakeshott more highly.

I sent an email after her death to the manager, thanking the home for the care provided, and received no reply.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough. My parents have been here since October 2025 and from initial contact upto today we have experienced invaluable support and kindness, from the transition from home, settling them in and their continuing care. It is more than we could have hoped for. They are happy and content, well looked after and known by every member of the staff, who often go above and beyond with helping meet their needs. It is to the credit of Ben and Malou that the home is a happy settled place to live and work. Their influence is reflected in the positive attitude of the staff and therefore passed on to the residents. We couldn't be happier with their care.

The only aspect is the financial maths is a challenge but the manager is very good and thoughtful.

My mother in law went into Morar for two weeks respite care. This was her first time away from us in two years and we were slightly apprehensive about how she would be able to cope. We were welcomed by amazingly friendly competent staff, a dog (excellent) which belonged to a resident, residents excited to meet someone new, a lovely room which was spacious and immaculately clean with plenty of room for all belongings, wheelchair, stroller and zimmer. Nothing we arrived with seemed a problem as long as it was all named clearly. Two weeks later having heard nothing which in my eyes is a good sign, we collected a very happy lady. She had been showered daily, obviously well fed as she'd put on weight, and she had clearly been well stimulated as she was very chatty for a few days afterwards. Unfortunately due to her dementia she forgot everything and everyone the moment she returned home but occasionally she would say how lovely the ladies were and what a lovely place she had stayed in x

I would highly recommend Wimborne Manor to anyone looking for a really high standard of care for their loved one.

If I could give 10 stars I would, My Mother has just had a higher calling but her last few months in this amazing care home with the even more amazing team has been nothing short of perfection ! Giving me & my family the most wonderful final memories. Mum was adamant she wanted to stay at home & at 92 years young & in the same house for over 60 years we finally convinced her to go for some rest-bite due a series of falls. Having to self fund we made one call & a instant reassuring connection was made & within a couple of hours we arrived with mum at Abbeygate Manor & WOW, this is not a care home that we have ever seen or dreamt off - it's closer more represent of a 5* Dubai Hotel ! Fast forward one week & a frail old lady who remained closed off for the past few years in her home was now thriving - getting to bed rather than her chair every night, eating 3 chef prepared meals per day & fully integrating with other staff/residents & throughly enjoying allthe various activities on offer.

We genuinely couldn't have asked for better with regards to the care and attention that Dad received during his short stay at Langham Manor. All of his carers were thoroughly attentive to his needs and he was receiving all of his medical needs in a very professional manner. The home itself was always spotlessly clean and well cared for. As Dad's family we were always made to feel very welcome and it was always quick and easy to speak to the management as well as the care team. Sincere thanks for the care you provided to our dad.
