Care Homes Owned by Morar Living in Suffolk

Mum arrived at the home on 30th July 2026, the staff on Sugar Mill settled her in and even though she was quite upset they gave her time to relax and sleep. She has been looked after very well, always clean and fresh and a nicely made bed. Although Mum has very limited speech all of the carers take time to talk to her, especially Jemima, the home goes way beyond what we as a family were hoping for, it is spotlessly clean, bright, friendly and above all it doesn't smell. All of the staff, from the manager to the cleaners are very approachable and kind.

Mum has been staying at Langham Manor for the last eight months now and, in that time, has been treated with care and much-needed support. The care team are fantastic, friendly and patient. The management are welcoming and supportive. The home is always clean and well-looked after. I have had no cause for concern and it has been immensely reassuring knowing that Mum is getting the care and attention she needs.

I cannot recommend this home highly enough. My parents have been here since October 2025 and from initial contact upto today we have experienced invaluable support and kindness, from the transition from home, settling them in and their continuing care. It is more than we could have hoped for. They are happy and content, well looked after and known by every member of the staff, who often go above and beyond with helping meet their needs. It is to the credit of Ben and Malou that the home is a happy settled place to live and work. Their influence is reflected in the positive attitude of the staff and therefore passed on to the residents. We couldn't be happier with their care.

If I could give 10 stars I would, My Mother has just had a higher calling but her last few months in this amazing care home with the even more amazing team has been nothing short of perfection ! Giving me & my family the most wonderful final memories. Mum was adamant she wanted to stay at home & at 92 years young & in the same house for over 60 years we finally convinced her to go for some rest-bite due a series of falls. Having to self fund we made one call & a instant reassuring connection was made & within a couple of hours we arrived with mum at Abbeygate Manor & WOW, this is not a care home that we have ever seen or dreamt off - it's closer more represent of a 5* Dubai Hotel ! Fast forward one week & a frail old lady who remained closed off for the past few years in her home was now thriving - getting to bed rather than her chair every night, eating 3 chef prepared meals per day & fully integrating with other staff/residents & throughly enjoying allthe various activities on offer.

We genuinely couldn't have asked for better with regards to the care and attention that Dad received during his short stay at Langham Manor. All of his carers were thoroughly attentive to his needs and he was receiving all of his medical needs in a very professional manner. The home itself was always spotlessly clean and well cared for. As Dad's family we were always made to feel very welcome and it was always quick and easy to speak to the management as well as the care team. Sincere thanks for the care you provided to our dad.

My husband receives excellent care at this home. The staff are always friendly, caring and professional, and they go out of their way to make residents feel comfortable and valued. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is very good, and the home is always clean and well looked after. As a family member, I feel reassured knowing my husband is receiving such high-quality care. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for everything you do.

The home feels so relaxed with the current management and you can see and feel they are well supported in their roles.

I am happy because mum is happy, and I would like to send a big thank you to all at Langham Manor.

This is the second time my mother has been in for respite care this year. The care my mum has received has been outstanding, the staff are very careing and helpfull. The food is excellent plus there are snacks always available.

My mother spent her last 10 days here, and the team kindly allowed me to stay with her. The experience, though very sad, was made so much easier by the kindness, professionalism and genuine care of the staff, from management, nursing and care, to admin and domestic. We were treated with respect and courtesy throughout, and the food and facilities were excellent. When mum died, the staff gave her the greatest possible respect and dignity, lining her route from the home. Very uplifting at one of the saddest times of my life.

Morar at Bury St Edmunds was exceptional. The whole team of staff went above and beyond their job to make sure that residents are comfortable and happy. The food was of excellent quality. Everyone appears to work well as a team and enjoys their job. The modern facilities are comfortable, and the shared social spaces for relatives are very well throughout with provisions for drinks, etc. Overall, a superb experience and highly recommended.

The care staff are very friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble and genuinely care about residents and family. The building has been furnished to a very high standard and has the appearance of a hotel rather than a care home.

We had a christmas meal for the resident - 8 of us. We all had a great time.The meal was provided, and we did the extras. Everyone was so kind and helpful. A christmas carol sing a long for the residents, which we joined in completed the event.

Beautifully decorated new care home with lovely caring staff who have gone out of their way to welcome Mum into a safe and happy environment. She has a gorgeous ground-floor room with access to her own patio and small garden. Keep up the good work, everyone! Thank you.

We have tried a few care homes for respite since my husband had his stroke seven years ago, but this was by far the best. We hope to use their services again in the near future.

I was told that before I went 15 steps into care home I would know if the home was suitable for my wife it is definitely from the happy faces/ nothing is too much trouble staff always polite the whole care home clean and always tidy son years ago had to come up with a name for clay models they were carrying out at school he said the classy clay company. I would like to say Langham Manor the classy care home excellent place.

What can I say - we struck really lucky with Langham Manor! I looked at a few homes in the area. Narrowed it down to two. We went with Langham Manor. My father was quite poorly where he entered, but he certainly rallied with the fantastic staff, surrounding and most delicious food. None of us could have asked for more. Friendly staff, who couldn't do any more for either my father, or us. His family. Definitely a 5 star place.
