Infection protection and control guidance was not followed. Staff practice and behaviours including that of management toward resident and myself as his legal representative did not align with professional codes of conduct. I had to involve adult support and protection. I complained to the care regulator regarding this and all of my complaints were upheld. There is currently an improvement notice served on the home.

Days leading up to my mum passing, I received that same care and consideration. I will be forever grateful that my mum was a resident at Castlehill Care Home. She was very lucky to have been there with such lovely people.

senior nurse is so lovely and so approachable and you can see home much she cares about the residents. She is brilliant with my mother-in-law and you can easily see how much my mother-in-law likes her. All in all, the staff and management are all very caring and approachable.
