Care Homes Owned by Morar Living in Renfrewshire

We are very satisfied with the care my aunt receives in Morar. All her needs are catered for. Her personal care is delivered with care, patience and dignity.

I visited my friends mum and could not believe the friendliness off the staff/management it was so welcoming just walking through the front door of this beautiful home. My friends mum is soo happy and content and said she is loving life being in this home. I could see the difference in her from my last visit she is soo contented. It means the world to me knowing she is being cared for soo professionally and the friends she has made in this home are her 2nd family now. Keep up the great work.

Our friend, who was suffering from MND, was treated with dignity and respect. The staff were very caring and always went the extra mile to ensure she was as comfortable as possible. Management are visible, approachable and involved - very impressive. Overall excellent service

I can't thank every member of the team enough.

Since moving to Morar care home she has improved physically and mentally. The staff have been brilliant in helping her settle in. The care home is clean, homely, bright and cheerful. Every day there are numerous activities. There really is something for everyone and we have been amazed at how much our ( mother) wants to participate. Our family member seems to be far more stimulated and gets more out of life. This is such a relief to us as a family knowing that she enjoys her surroundings and that she is being so well looked after.

My father spent the last 6 weeks of his life at Morar. He received excellent care inspite of him being a danger to himself at times. The support for the family at this time was amazing. We knew that his stay would only have a short duration but everything possible was done to maintain a normal routine and keep him entertained and comfortable. Access to his care notes from a phone or tablet helped my brothers see what was going on from the south of England, a great resource. Genuinely caring staff.

Didn't want my husband in a care home but hes safe and cared for. Cant ask for more.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while as my sister and I want to thank everyone at Morar Bridge of Weir for the friendship, care and compassion shown to our very special Uncle Joe. He came to live at Morar at a very traumatic time in his life and the whole staff team were wonderful in how well they supported him. He loved you all but was especially fond of Claire and Joann! Joe was happy at Morar and made many friends. He was always treated with respect and dignity and , as a family, we felt welcome and were kept informed about his welfare. Thank you so much Claire and team for everything you did for Joe. I know you miss him as much as we do!

My experience of Bridge of Weir has been nothing but good in every respect. The staff can't do enough for me. I feel safe and well cared for in the home. They have a very full activities programme which I am very involved in. My room is lovely and looks out onto a patio.

Care homes have a difficult job to do but this one should and could have done much better. Once the initial decision on provider is made it is unfair to relocate. I wish i had looked under the covers and further afield

My mum joined Morar living at bridge of weir in February and I can't believe the change in our mum. The team have made us all feel so welcome and show so much care and respect for our mum. They really know how to bring the best out in our elderly parents and I am so impressed by the level of care and attention they give to mum. I didn't want my mum in a home however the Morar team have put my mind at rest and gave me a chance to be a daughter again and not my mums carer. The pink ladies are amazing and the home manager and her team should be proud of what they do. Love to all

The activities they offer have been fantastic, giving mum the chance to socialize and stay engaged in a way that has made her feel more settled. It's such a relief knowing she's in a place where she feels at home. We are all so reassured by the excellent care, and I can't recommend this care home enough. Thank you all for your dedication and compassion

Bridge of weir care home staff exceptionally helpful, friendly and supportive. Our Dad is well looked after and knowing this and feeling that he is safe at all times is of great comfort to the family.

The management and staff at Morar Living, Bridge of Weir are kind, professional, caring and treat residents and families like their own family. The team ensure residents are treated with respect at all times and that makes my journey less traumatic, seeing my husband cope with dementia. I have the utmost respect for all the caring staff who have a very challenging job. The manager has an open-door policy for families which is unheard of in these times.

The nurses and care staff are brilliant, they spend time with my aunt, encourage her to remain independent but support her when she struggles. Domestic staff keep her room clean and tidy, kitchen staff give her meals she actually likes with lots of snacks and treats. I can not sing their praises enough. Thank you to all the staff, from myself and all of our family.
