Care Homes Owned by Morar Living in Stirling

The carers, receptionist and nurses are all very kind and look after my Mum well. She is comfortable there and enjoys the routine that the carehome can offer her. There are also a wide variety of activities on offer.

General standard of care is good with helpful friendly staff and good facilities. Inevitably there are significant numbers of residents with a degree of dementia and the only area of real concern is food where choice is limited and calorific value seems often to be favoured over nutritious value.

Sincere thanks & appreciation to the kind & caring members of the Team at Oakeshott that have been gently looking after Mum... it's not easy seeing any parent in a nursing home but I'm thankful that all the staff there are so caring...

Oakeshott has been an excellent choice for my brother who has complex needs and have all been met with no issues at all, He is very happy here, staff and management are all so friendly, helpful and look happy to be at their work, Rooms are lovely and no complaints about food either , Overall I'd say an excellent home

My father came to Oakeshott in December 2025. He settled in very quickly and was made to feel so welcome by all the care staff. He is still fairly independent but loves that his meals are all prepared for him and that his room is cleaned. He is more content now than ever as he has far fewer worries! The family and Dad are very happy with the care and kindness Dad has been shown and could not recommend Oakeshott more highly.

My dad was a resident of Oakeshott House for just over a year until his recent passing. During that time we found that the care he received was exemplary. He was always clean and tidy, well fed and providing with a range of activities. The staff without exception treated him with kindness and dignity and as a family we felt very well informed. I cannot recommend Oakeshott House highly enough.

My mum came to Oakeshott House for respite care on 06/10/2025, and I must say how impressed I am with the care, dignity and kindness shown to my mum. Mum is continuing to stay on at Oakeshott as she is no longer safe living on her own. The kindness, reassurance and support given to me by all of the staff is second to none - this genuinely is a five star facility, and I cannot thank all of the staff enough for their care of mum.

From the day that my Dad entered Oakeshott House, I knew he was getting the best care available in a clean, safe and welcoming environment. The staff dealing with him were just lovely, so kind and attentive, just like a big family, whilst continuing to be professional at all times. The staff are so dedicated and really take time to get to know each resident and their peculiar needs, likes and dislikes. The staff were also a great help to us at the end, helping us through a very difficult time.

Oakeshott House is beautiful well run home with superb staff. We will always be grateful to the manager and all the staff for the exceptional care they gave to my brother and the support which was extended to us as a family.

The carehome is a great place, clean, welcoming and all staff are very caring and helpful. My mother has settled well and that's down to the people who are caring for her. Not had any issues or concerns.

My experience was always been palliative staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always clean and tidy. Not always easy to keep old people happy but this place does a good job

We visited the community cafe at Oakeshott house today, myself and my 2 visitors. We sat amongst residents, including my dad enjoying wonderful scones and cakes. We looked through a files of photos logging all activities and events through the years - every resident smiling! The atmosphere was lovely and the activities co-Ordinator was great. Dads visitors were thoroughly impressed in this and facilities. Oakeshott house has to offer, accommodation, activities, lovely garden etc.

Oakeshott House is a modern, well laid out 3 storey building, with a small but pleasant secure garden that is accessible easily for mobile of wheelchair bound residents. Interior decor in modern light and airy with lovely carpets and furnishings. Rooms for my parents are large and ensuite - ground floor rooms have french style windows and a small patio. All is very clean and easily maintained. The staff are friendly and very caring - even the 'bacl room' personel and maintenance staff which found surprising.

My mum has only been in Oakeshott for a couple of weeks, but the standard of care she has received in that short time has been nothing short of excellent. Oakeshott has an exceptional and very approachable management team who will stop short of nothing to ensure my mum receives the best care possible. Oakeshott is a beautiful nursing home which is immaculately kept and would give many 5-star hotels a run for their money.

Great facility with individual needs carefully considered and catered for.

The only downside is it's very expensive.

I wished my friend to feel safe, secure and happy in the care home, and that is the status quo.

My mother has been a resident of Oakeshott House for six months now. She has been well cared for in all that time. Unfortunately, Mum's health has declined and is receiving palliative care. As a family, we believe she is receiving care second to none and we cannot thank the staff enough for the care and support they give Mum and us as a family.

My mum suffered a stroke and was on an end-of-life pathway for 12 days. This is when we truly realised how much she was loved by everyone at Oakeshott. From incredible nursing care and dealing with her medical needs to the dignified way she was physically cared for, nothing was too much trouble. The lasting memory I will have is of how close the staff were to Mum and how they were personally affected by her passing. You have no idea the difference they made to us and we will never forget it.
