Having spent the last 10 years caring for mum at home with her condition gradually deteriorating, we know exactly how demanding mum can be and how difficult the job is, which is why I want to say a massive thank you all the staff at Squadron Manor for the professionalism and excellent care provided to mum over the host four months. Thanks also for making her 90th birthday celebration with all the family so special, a memory we thought we couldn't get and will always remember.

What a beautiful care home, the staff are absolutely wonderful, they make you feel so welcome, my mother-in-law loves it here, there is so much for her to do. She can get her nails and hair done, also her feet, the activity she loves. I would highly recommend this care home 100%.

My nan had taken the decision to move to a residential home, chose Squadron Manor and then told us as a family! She chose brilliantly, as even though there were new home teething (brilliantly resolved by the team), we feel SAFE when we leave her like we never did at her home.

I would recommend the home for any family looking for supportive comfort.

We moved our parents into Squadron Manor in March 2026 after several years of live-in care. I had always dreaded the moment we had to make this choice, especially finding somewhere to keep them together. But from the outset, the Management team have given fantastic support and advice to us as a family. The care being provided is exceptional, the rooms are spacious, well furnished, and the carers have been fantastic. The food i've seen so far has looked really nice, which was one of my concerns prior to the move. There is an onsite salon which i recently used with the relief that my Mums long term hairdresser was able to use, essential to be able to keep some familiar faces for my parents. The challenge i faced dealing with GPs and the pharmacy is now overseen by the care home which has lifted a big weight off my shoulders, allowing me to spend more time being a son and spending precious time with my parents. We are so happy we chose Squadron Manor.

Squadron Manor is a beautiful new facility where the staff are first class . So happy to have finally found a place where we are comfortable with leaving our dear mum to be cared for and confident that she is getting the best care possible which she so deserves. It's a family environment where everyone feels comfortable family and friends included . We have experienced many care homes and this is the best by far. So grateful for the staff and management for providing this wonderful opportunity for mum to spend her remaining years .

It has been a huge step for our entire family to place my grandmother in the care home. But we have been very happy and reassured of our decision from the onset at Squadron Manor. Staff are friendly and helpful, everyone is approachable and happy to answer any questions. The care and attention she receives is excellent. Special mention for the chef team- food is amazing! As a family, we now have peace of mind, she is in the right place!

Due to my Mother needing to be repatriated due to a diagnosis of dementia we, as a family were extremely concerned that we find somwhere that would suut her needs but allow her a very fullfilling and comfortable lifestyle.
Thankfully we found Squadron Manor.
Since being a resident there my Mothers health has improved tenfold and her general wellbeing is so much better.
The staff are very attentive and treat her with respect and maintain her dignity.

The home is of an exceptionally high standard and I cannot rate the place high enough.

I visited Squadron Manor to enquire about the possibility of placing my father there, and I was impressed. It is a beautifully building with lots of facilities for the residents. But what impressed me most was the staff who showed me round and those I met on my visit. They were all very caring, interested and helpful - it gave me confidence that my father would be well cared for there.
We have chosen another care home for Dad, but only on the basis of geography - this was my first choice if he was to stay in the area.

I would definitely recommend everyone looking for a care home to visit Squadron Manor.

This is a brand new care home with no review so far but I can highly recommend it. Although my mum was only with them for just over a week she could not have been looked after better, all the staff, nursing and admin were brilliant. The nursing staff were so so kind and patient with mum and the admin staff helped me navigate the system and was very knowledgeable and guided me throughout. I had looked at 5 other homes before deciding on this one and it was definitely the right decision

A big big thank you guys
