I spent 3+ weeks in Arkall Manir on Respite Care and cannot fault them at all. You just need to ask the Chef for something if it's not on the menu and he will always do his very best to prepare this. He usually succeeds.
The food is freshly cooked and hot when it needs to be and served on proper
plates. Cups and saucers on the tables and everywhere spotlessly clean.
The carers are all friendly and will always help if you need help.
I had my hair cut in the little salon and one day did easy exercises to music I could sing along to, just my era. It was planned for residents of my age group, those who lived through the 60's.
With a little notice, my visitors were also given lunch.
I give them my very best thanks for caring for me.

I moved my father from another home in Lichfield to Arkall Manor in September 2024. Since moving in, he has improved considerably - he eats properly, he has people to socialise with, and he is cared for with kindness and respect. The home is absolutely beautiful, the staff are amazing and the
atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Arkall Manor to anyone considering temporary or long term care.

Wow, wow .. and again wow! Been to visit a friend today and was totally blown away with this beautiful care home. It was more like a 5 star hotel!! The staff were lovely.. polite and couldn't do enough to help us. Stopped for lunch .. which was awesome.. and pudding was even nicer!! I've told my
friend to move over .. I'm moving in! beautiful grounds and clean modern facilities.. I can't fault a thing. Beautiful place and happy residents .. which is ultimately the most important thing.

We are absolutely blown away by the care provided at Arkall Manor. Every single member of staff is polite friendly and completely professional. Nothing is too much trouble and feedback is welcomed and acted upon swiftly.
The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful and yet there is always plenty going
on to keep the residents occupied and engaged. Everyone is smiling all the time !!
The food is excellent and being able to order a meal to share with our family member makes for a lovely experience.
It was our family members birthday today and 3 of us were treated to a private lunch with him in the garden room. We were spoiled with a lovely lunch and our family member received cards and gifts from the staff which was so moving. The balloon display and the homemade cake from the kitchen added a very special touch, with all the staff gathering to sing to him on his big day.
Even more special is the fact that the rest of the cake will be shared with all of the other residents ! Simply superb

I call it Sparkle Manor' because it is the most fantastic care home in the area with the best staff. From the moment you walk in it's obvious that every member of staff, not just the care team, is invested and involved in the welfare and care of the residents and every single member of staff is
professional, friendly, polite, attentive, responsive, happy, engaging, and helpful.
The sunny patio and garden areas are lovely, the bedrooms are beautiful, the communal areas are safe, light, happy, tidy, beautfully presented and relaxing or sociable spaces. The 'entertainment staff are amazing, with a varied weekly programme and something for everyone.
Joining mum for lunch is a treat (at no cost) and so is the free tea/coffee and amazing cakes for visitors!
We moved mum here from another care home and could not believe that care as good as this existed. Thank you to all the sparkling Arkall

My mother has been showering praises on the chef, saying how he knows her so well after only one week and really cares. She also praises a particular lady saying she is fabulous and so caring.

As a family, it has been a very positive experience to see Mum safe, content and well cared for. The experience so far has been wholly positive. Mum has improved a lot with the care, good food and great surroundings.

My mother has really enjoyed her stay at the care home. All the staff and residents have been so friendly and helpful. They have made all her family so welcome when they have visited Mum stayed for two weeks of respite and will if required again contact the home. The meals and care are outstanding
and will be visiting again very soon with Mum for a cup of tea.

My husband stayed for 2 weeks of respite care. The care was amazing, food was as good as any restaurant. The building was outstanding. I have visited many care homes and have never been to any better than this. He will definitely be going again.

Mum has been treated exceptionally well during her stay. Mum is very fussy regarding cleanliness and repeats continually how exceptionally clean it is. The staff are very welcoming and from what I have seen very accommodating to individual needs. I have enjoyed visiting her whilst here. I would
recommend this home. You are all doing an exceptional job. Well done.

My grandmother came to Arkall Manor for respite for two weeks. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful care they gave her. The staff were warm and friendly, always happy and treated her so well. My grandmother always told me how well she was looked after. When I came to visit they couldn't do
enough for me, offered me food and drinks. It's a difficult decision to choose care for a loved one but would recommend Arkall Manor to anyone as we are so happy with it.

It is always a pleasure to visit as the staff are so attentive and friendly, the facilities are amazing. The rooms are spacious and clean, lots of attention to detail has been made and yet it feels very homely.

Our father is at Arkall. The staff are amazing. Always friendly and helpful, and very attentive to Dad. There are lots of activities to keep him occupied, he's busier now than ever! Thanks to all the team.

I was visiting a friend of mine today and was amazed by this care home. It's absolutely beautiful. All the staff were very friendly and approachable. I could not fault anything, every corner I turned there was another beautiful room.

I call all the staff the Arkall Angels. Fantastic from the top to bottom. They have given my mother a new lease of life. She has changed from someone wanting to stay in her room (and sometimes in her bed), to becoming very much more mobile and sociable. Staff are very attentive and friendly and
provide a range of activities to stimulate and keep residents active. Residents all seem to be very happy.
Hygiene is top-class in all areas including personal needs.
The food is amazing. Always a good variety. My mother complains about there being too much!
The building itself is top class with very modern and comfortable furnishings and surroundings. All spotless and clean.
I can sum up by saying it's like being in a 5-star hotel! The best decision we made was to choose Arkall Manor for my mother's new home.

My dad has just moved into Arkall Manor and within the first 24 hours, he was back to his old happy, smiley self! Everyone on the staff are outstanding with their dedicated care and respect for Dad, in fact, he says he can't find any fault whatsoever and that he has become one of the family
immediately.
As a family, we have all been made extremely welcome for our visits and are always offered a drink and can book to have lunch with the residents which I did and can only describe the food as 5 stars!

My husband stayed for 2 weeks of respite care. The care was amazing, food was as good as any restaurant. The building was outstanding. I have visited many care homes and have never been to any better than this. He will definitely be going again.
