View Full Details of Lincoln Manor Care HomeThe care my dad received in the last few weeks was above and beyond. They gave me a room to stay in so I was near my dad. They treated him with dignity, respect, and 100% care. They also took care of my while I was there, nothing was to much trouble.
Mum stayed for a week's respite care, prior to deciding to move in - a really positive experience for us as a family. The manager was very thorough in ensuring all details regarding mum's needs were recorded & planned for prior to the stay. The rooms and all communal spaces were lovely and bright with excellent facilities. Mum settled well into her room, I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff - there were always several staff around on each floor to give an update on how she was doing. Mum really enjoyed the activities, she likes walking and staff accompanied her on several walks to the nearby park / common, she enjoyed the daily exercise class - we were delighted her needs to keep active & busy were met, she also enjoyed the music/ singing activities. Night staff were responsive & kind when settling her if she woke up at night. The food served by the chef looked lovely. We were confident that mum was safe & well looked after, she is looking forward to moving in.
We have just moved my mum in law into the Lincoln Manor and we are very impressed. From the first visit 8 weeks ago, the manager has been fantastic and super helpful. My mother in law commented that she feels she is in a 5 star hotel! The staff seem to all genuinely care and the planned games and activities are varied and look brilliant. Nothing has been too much trouble. Her room is very spacious and all the furniture is top quality. This is the standard she deserves at this stage of her life and I am very happy that the Lincoln Manor had availability. Thank you.
My husband was admitted to the Lincoln Manor as an emergency from an E.A department. The care and support from all the staff were excellent, especially the manager. Unfortunately he passed away shortly after but was treated with dignity throughout his life. On behalf of my family we would recommend the Manor to anyone looking for care,
My father-in-law has been at this home since it opened in February. He has always been very well looked after by staff members, who make up a friendly, caring and compassionate team, led by a committed manager with high expectations of the standard of care, and residents' wellbeing and independence. We were particularly grateful when the manager and another member of staff recently went out of their way to transport my father-in-law home from our daughter's wedding as he did not want to stay to the end. Unfortunately he was taken ill at the event and the manager started to organise appropriate medical support before even getting back to the home, which meant my father-in-law received medical attention quickly. This is just one example of how staff go above and beyond to look after their residents' needs. Thank you all.
Just an amazing place where they can't do enough for the residents. It's run by a manager who is so very passionate about giving residents the best life experiences. Thank you all for taking such amazing care of my mum.
The staff (management) are very helpful and attentive. They explain very clearly any query. I understand the access/egress to the building and we have to wait for the staff to let us in and out, but it is frustrating to wait outside.
A Beautiful home and excellent staff Mum has been well looked after since she went to the Manor home . Her room is perfectly set up for her needs and all the facilities are close to hand and the lay out of the home works really well Over all lovely
My father has recently spent 3 weeks on respite at Lincoln Manor Care Home with a view to spending long term if he liked it. I found the staff to be very caring and helpful, and also responsive to a few issues raised by myself. This was dealt with promptly. The staff were very good in responding to my father's needs when he had a slight panic attack, and that was reassuring to myself. The facilities provided were excellent, and his room also good size and catered for his needs well. At this moment in my father's life, he doesn't feel ready for permanent residence.
When Mum moved to the home her eating and sleeping patterns were poor. The friendly staff have helped her to settle and with a new routine she is now sleeping through the night. Her eating and appetite has improved. Care is taken to give her appropriate foods and they take the time to mash or cut food when needed. The first few weeks are looking promising for Mum.
I cannot praise the staff at Lincoln Manor enough. They have all made Dad feel so welcome since he arrived and they show so much care for not only his personal and physical needs, but also his emotional well-being. His interests are very much valued and taken into account when planning activities, some of these very personalised to him. Not only that, the home is modern, bright and stylish, making it a lovely place for residents to socialise or spend time relaxing in their own rooms.
My wife and I recently returned to Florida USA, after visiting Lincoln to see our 95 year old Mum, who just moved into this fabulous care home. We were truly blown away by the excellent quality of the home, and the professional caring FUN attitude from all of the team members. The facilities available for all the residents are top notch. The food is excellent. Mums bedroom suite is adorable, and everything is brand new. The super Manager, has trained a very special team of delightful employees whom we witnessed interacting with all the residents with a caring approach and genuine interest in their duties and responsibilities. If you are considering a place for someone you love to call home, look no further than Lincoln Manor - we feel blessed to know our Mum is getting the care and attention she deserves living there every day. Thank you to everyone involved, we loved watching you all interact with each of the residents, especially with our Mum.
