This is such a brilliant home, with staff that consistently go above and beyond for residents. The activities are like no other home we visited - a belly dancer and silent disco for example! They really ensure residents have a brilliant time here, and do everything they can to make sure residents
are looked after!

I find all the staff at Moorhill are committed to providing an excellent service to residents and their visitors. The carers always anticipate the needs of the residents and are totally happy to serve any requests I have to help my partner get ready to go for an outing and to assist her on our
return. The senior staff are always happy to report on my partners health and wellbeing and are providing great help to her daughter with funding requirements for ongoing care. The building is a superb purpose-built facility and has lots of communal areas, both inside and outside, for residents to get together and relax. I'm really happy that my partner is being so well cared-for in Moorhill and I know she is happy living there.

Totally recommend Moorhill! We moved Mum to Moorhill (from home) in January this year. With no experience of care homes, I looked at many before choosing Moorhill and I have never regretted that decision. The care is outstanding and the friendliness and thoughtfulness of all staff always goes above
and beyond, treating every resident with respect and a ready smile. The social activities are excellent - Mum is never lonely or bored. Facilities are new and varied - it's like a little village! And best of all, Mum tells me every visit how she loves Moorhill and how happy she is! From a family perspective, we know that Mum is safe and cared for and that makes a massive difference to us all.

My mum lives at home with me and my family, but I was in need of respite. Mum stayed at Moorhill Care Home for the month of January, and I felt 100% assured that she was in the best hands. The managers and staff were all extremely kind and caring. The vibe at the home is cheerful and relaxing. The
interior of the home is spacious, pristine, fresh and calming. The building is new and well thought out, and the grounds are beautiful. The Care Home is in a beautiful location. We live in Portsmouth, but this home is so conveniently situated just off the M27, that the 20 minute drive was not a problem. Mum had 9 night stay in a reputable Care Home in Emsworth last May, but Moorhill exceeded the Emsworth Home by a long stretch. I won't hesitate should I need respite again - I wouldn't mind booking myself into there!!

We had to make the difficult decision as a family to admit our mum needed to go into a home. I discovered Moorhill Care Home, when driving by. I emailed not expecting much but Rob replied and I went and visited the home the next day. Rob was so warm and friendly and was so helpful and gave me in
depth tour of the home.I could see our mum there but we needed our mum to visit and feel she could live there. Well in October, she did exactly that. She has gone from being withdrawn, lonely and isolated to someone who is flourishing. That is all down to the wonderful care, from everyone at Moorhill. Every member of the team do their bit to make Moorhill feel like a wonderful place to be. Our mum is treated with dignity and respect at all times. The facilities, cleanliness, food and drink, activities are all excellent. The safety and security is excellent and we know are mum is safe. The rooms are clean and mum has been able to add her own touches to it,which makes her feel safe and secure.

I had been looking for a Care Home for my sister-in-law for several months when I viewed Moorhill Care Home. After meeting with the Manager and being given a guided tour of the Home I was in no doubt that this was exactly what I was looking for, a newly built home, beautifully furnished with all the
modern conveniences and the feeling of genuine caring and kindness. I have not been disappointed. My sister-in-law has settled extremely well, is safe and very well cared for.

After visiting many homes, Moorhill truly stands out and I cannot recommend highly enough. You often hear of residents declining after moving into care - my mum has done the opposite and is thriving!
The care is exceptional, with staff encouraging independence and going above and beyond.
Residents have full access to the beautiful garden, unlike other homes where outdoor spaces are often locked away. Meals are nutritious, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. Lauren, the activities coordinator, is fantastic at keeping residents engaged - I love seeing the photos online.
Smitha, Genebel and Rob, the management team, are incredibly involved and know every resident personally. They've even trained staff on insulin to manage my mum's diabetes safely. The home is immaculate, residents are well dressed and active, and the atmosphere is positive - staff genuinely enjoy working there.
Moorhill is on another level. If you want compassionate, professional care, this is the place to choose

My grandad has been in this home for a few months now and has settled in really well. Before coming here my grandad would sit in his armchair not engaging in much but since being at Moorhill he is attending all activities and interacting with other residents. He is always complimenting the food and
is always keen to know what's on through the week. It's good to see the connection he is building with staff and him engaged in group activities.

Moorhill we're kind hearted from the very first phone call from Rob. We felt the care immediately. The house call from Smitha was equally as kind. When we arrived all the dept mangers came to say hello to my mother in law with in the first 30 minutes. We were all made to feel very welcome, and
stayed as long as we wanted to, which included watching an exercise class taking place that our mum was immediately included in.
The facilities are beautiful. She had a large bedroom with en-suite wet room. The dining rooms are all set up as if its a 5 star hotel, and the lounges are equally as inviting. The food looked delicious and there was lots of it.
There is a cafe in the reception area which is lovely when visiting. And the gardens look beautiful, even in the winter.
All the staff were kind, helpful, smiling and attentive.
It felt very secure and safe.
Mum really enjoyed her stay and will definitely be going back for respite again.
