My Dad required nursing care following a fall and a spell in Hospital. He has been living at St Brelades since 16th December 2025. I was very apprehensive after caring for him myself for 8 years. This home is exceptionally well presented internally and extremely. My Dad has a beautiful room with
ensuite facilities. The home is always spotlessly clean. The staff are absolutely wonderful, you can see how much they care about residents, they treat them like family. They have literally nursed my Dad back to health, not once but twice. I have totally confidence in Eileen and the wonderful team at St Brelades

My grandfather moved into this care home recently, and the transition into residential care was understandably a big change for both him and our family. Overall, the staff have been welcoming and have worked to help him settle into a new routine, which we appreciate.
The carers are always friendly
and welcoming and always check in to see how things are, and generally almost always get some feedback on how my grandfather has been through the day which is always nice to hear.
Adjusting to care home life takes time, but I have seen efforts made to support my grandfather and his needs and also efforts made to some requests from myself to which I feel will help support him.

My husband went in for 2 weeks respite I was very worried but he settled in very quickly and all the staff were very professional and polite treating everyone with respect. Visitors were made to feel very welcome. I would recommend the care home to anyone I would definitely use it again.

My dad has been here for a month and he's settled in very well. The home is clean, modern and welcoming and dad has a lovely room with his own private wet room. The staff have been welcoming from the moment we first visited for a viewing, and I am very pleased with care and attention dad receives,
although he is blind they still encourage him to come out of his room to take part in activities and if he or myself brings something to their attention they respond quickly. The staff overall are friendly and helpful and I have peace of mind that dad is well taken care of 24/7.

I was apprehensive about going into a care home, but once I was there and settled into my room, I soon adjusted and found my own spaces. I have made some new friends, and the staff have been welcoming and are all approachable. The property is still being renovated but despite this things are all
running smoothly.

I came to St Brelades Care two days after having a replacement hip operation to build up my strength. The staff were warm and welcoming and throughout my stay, unfailingly thoughtful and kind. My room was light and airy. The bed was comfortable, there was adequate space to store my clothes and a
wall mounted TV wtih a choice of multiple channels. I had a roomy ensuite with shower, toilet and wash basin. I opted for breakfast in bed, then I joined the other residents in the lounge and chatted, read or watched television. At lunchtime we relocated to the nicely appointed dining room. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Generally we had a light lunch and our main meal in the evening. Throughout the day tea, coffee and refreshments were available within a few days I progressed from a wheelchair and crutches to being able to walk unaided largely due to the care and encouragement I received.

Our family will always be deeply grateful for the care our granddad received during his short time at St Brelades Care. Although he was only there for a brief period before he passed away, the kindness, dignity, and compassion shown to him made an enormous difference in his final days.
The staff
treated him with genuine warmth and respect, taking the time to ensure he was comfortable, calm, and cared for as an individual, not just a patient. Their attentiveness and gentle approach greatly improved his wellbeing and brought him peace at a time when it mattered most.
They also supported us as a family with understanding and reassurance, which meant more than words can express. Knowing he was in such caring hands gave us comfort during an incredibly difficult time.
Thank you to everyone at St Brelades Care for the exceptional care you provided. It truly meant the world to us and helped make his last days as dignified and comfortable as possible.

Such a lovely atmosphere for the residents over Christmas, and supporting the families coming to terms with the family changes.
My mum who has dementia is so much happier and joyful after moving here after such a lonely time as her health diminished.
Special thanks to the Staff, who always seem
so happy to help, and care, and thanks to Karen, who has a permanent smile on her face no matter what, is so helpful and kind . And Eileen, the hands on Manager, deserves a medal for organising everyone and everything!.
Thank you

I am overwhelmed by the amount of care my uncle has received in just a short time being here. All the staff are amazing, they genuinely go out of their way to make sure that you are happy and that your needs are met.
The standards of care is very high and all the staff in the care home treat
everyone with respect, compassion and the quality of standards since throughout the home. I can't recommend this home enough and I believe its down to all the people (team) who make it work. It has 5 stars from me.

My uncle is a new resident of St Brelades. I have been acting on his behalf and from the very first visit I have been impressed with the care home and its facilities but even more so by every member of the management and caring staff.
From the morning he moved in and in every visit since I have
seen such a change in my Uncle. I haven't heard him laugh for quite some time and now he is laughing and smiling each time I visit. St Brelades is so welcoming and friendly. I look forward to my visits and to see how my uncle interacts with his carers. As the care home is newly opened the only matter I cannot comment comprehensively on at this stage is activities but I have no reason to doubt they will prove to be great for the residents.
On the administrative side all my dealings have been dealt with so efficiently.
I would have no hesitation in recommending St Brelades.
