My husband has been a resident for four years.The standard of care is excellent from housekeeping staff, kitchen staff, carers and nurses. The respect shown to my husband and myself is second to none.The management are readily available should I have any queries. A true home from home.

My sister is very happy at Woodside Grange, she has been there for 4 years. Its only a bus ride for me to get there. She has really settled there even though she has learning difficulties, she likes the staff as long as she is happy I am happy.

With my Mam living over 200miles away, it has been difficult not being able to see her as often as I'd like. After a previous care home didn't work out, I was anxious about finding somewhere that would support her wellbeing. I can honestly say that Laura and the staff on Sycamore have given me this peace of mind. From the beginning, they have been open, attentive and supportive - not just to my Mam, but to us navigating the distance. Angela and Brenda communicate regularly, keep me updated and make time to answer my questions. It's clear they genuinely care about her as a person, not just a resident. The patience, dignity and kindness show in how much more settled and comfortable she is now. The environment is warm and welcoming, and all the team make a real effort to create a sense of home for her. Being far away is never easy but knowing she is somewhere she is respected and truly cared for makes all the difference.

I am truly grateful for the incredible care my Granma, Margaret has received on Sycamore. From the moment she arrived, the staff welcomed her with genuine warmth and respect, making her feel safe and at home. Their professionalism is match by only their compassion - Laura, Angela and Brenda all take time to chat with her, understand her and ensure she is comfortable and engaged every day. The environment is clean, calm and thoughtfully maintained, all the team on Sycamore go the extra mile to create a lovely atmosphere filled with dignity & kindness. Whether it's helping with daily routine, offering a friendly smile or keeping us up to date as we live some 200 miles away, they consistently show the kind of care you hope for but don't always find. Knowing Granma is surrounded by people who truly care bring my family immense peace of mind. I cannot thank all the staff enough for the exceptional support they provide. Highly recommend Woodside Grange.

I can't thank the staff enough for the loving care they gave my Dad. They always promoted his independence, made him feel safe and most of all loved. Me, my Dad and our family will never forget you all. Thank you isn't enough.

Woodside Grange has provided my Grandma with reliable and empathetic care. After intially being apprehensive and reluctant to move Grandma into a care home, Laura and her team at Sycamore eased our concerns and gave us peace of mind. We know that she is safe and cared for by every member of the care team and cleaning staff, who regularly go above and beyond! The team is skillfully lead by Laura, who is one of a kind and provides regular communication and solves everything with a smile! The culture is one of being open to feedback and striving for the best.

My mam Annie has been in Woodside Grange for 2 years on Sycamore Suite. The staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful, my mam thoroughly enjoys living here. Laura who was a Senior on mam' s floor and promoted to management earlier this year has been absolutely brilliant, she has been so supportive to me and if there are any issues she makes sure they are dealt with. She has been a rock to me and has helped me to come to terms with my mam needing a care home and I don't know what I would have done without her. I also want to thank Angela she is so caring and attentive with my mam, she always helps mam to maintain her personal hygiene and regular grooming which helps me to keep my promise to my mam that I would always make sure she looks nice, and has her hair and nails done. I would also like to thank Matt, Brenda and Godstine (not sure of spelling), they are brilliant with my mam and very supportive to me. And lastly to the maintenance who helped mam move to a new room that she loves.

My father William Young has just arrived here at Woodside Grange and this is by far the best care home he has been in ,staff so friendly and helpful, nice large room ,thank you all who care for him .

I would like to say, the short time my Mum was a resident at Woodside Grange, she was treated very well, all her needs were catered for and the staff were excellent. The manager and her team were great. Thanks to all at Woodside Grange.

I am absolutely over the moon with all aspects of the care given to my mam. Carers, cleaners, in fact, every member of staff has gone above the job rolls. The staff are there to support family of the residents, the manager is approachable for anything and listens to you and acts upon any question you ask. Love seeing my mam happy, thank you managers and staff.

The staff in the Chesnut Suite do a great job in taking care of my brother, they are thoughtful and care for his needs. The atmosphere when you walk into the suite is always welcoming and everyone is always friendly.

My dad always seems to complain about the food and that the food he orders is not what he gets. There was an issue with a member of staff but he was reluctant to say anything in case he would be bullied or singled out and isolated. That situation resolved itself. He also agrees that overnight care could be better and he’s woke up at 0530 most mornings to take meds. Special mention to two staff members, both are very attentive.

My brother moved here from another care home because of his dementia. He has settled well and I know he is getting well looked after. The carers have a lot of patience and a good relationship with him. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Their loving, caring attitude obviously rubs off on to my brother. They give him their attention, also I like the communication between all the staff. Very happy and would recommend this home to anybody.

Lovely staff, lovely, friendly, warm care home. My elderly father was a resident at Woodside Grange for approximately 6 weeks to recuperate following a period in hospital. During his time there the staff were absolutely wonderful and caring throughout. The care my father received was so good he was reluctant to leave and return home, he was particularly complimentary about the food. The home is kept immaculate and the staff are on hand with any queries that may arise and are dealt with efficiently. Thank you to all the staff at Woodside Grange.

My dad is well cared for and the staff are really good with him. He has built up a good rapport with quite a few of them. They treat him with respect and will tell him when he needs telling as dad can sometimes be a bit much. Dad likes it here and it gives us peace of mind that he is safe at night.

Wonderful staff, all very caring and helpful, who are passionate about the residents. Care and attention is evident in a lovely home, well-kept, clean and very nice atmosphere. Staff at all levels are helpful and attentive. Food is wonderful, she is lucky to be in such a lovely home with hard-working staff - too many to mention. Thank you.

All the staff are exceptional - caring, always available to assist, friendly and highly trained. For a 39-year-old coming in for respite, it was easier than expected.

My mum's care for the last six months of her life was excellent. The staff are wonderful, caring people. Helpful, compassionate and professional. They are angels and I cannot thank them enough for looking after my mum until the end of her life.
