The staff are amazing, all of the staff are approachable, the activities coordinator keeps everyone entertained, there is always something going on for the residents. My mother in law says the food is amazing and plenty of it with drinks and snacks throughout the day. As a family we couldn't ask for any more.
Tracy and most of the team have been nothing but amazing for the years that my Grandad has been living at the Oaks. They have always made us feel so welcome and made us feel like my Grandad has been really looked after and cared for. Nothing is ever too much trouble and most of the staff have taken the time to get to know us as a family and show us nothing but love and respect. We appreciate everything you have done and continue to do so much and have a lot of respect and love for you.
A massive thank you to the amazing and dedicated staff. My grandma has lived with you for five years and sadly passed away with your care at what we knew felt like her home. Over the years, my grandma grew emotionally and socially thanks to your amazing activities and effort, which is clearly evident across the board. She loved all the staff there, and the family can't thank you enough. This is home to both staff and residents, and the family feel shines through. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts... you are all amazing. Kind regards and all the best to The Oaks family.
I find the care home very good with my brother, they are all very caring and interact with the residents. As I live a great distance from Wigan the management and staff always communicate with me and inform me of anything that is needed.
My mother was admitted into the Oaks at the end of last October. My brothers and I are very impressed by the standard of care our mother receives. All the staff are very supportive and go out of their way to make my mother feel secure and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The management update us regularly on our mother’s progress. The place is very clean and tidy and gives a very welcoming atmosphere. The food provided is nicely cooked and well presented. Activities are provided daily and recently many residents were taken to Blackpool to see the illuminations.
The care my mother received at the Oaks was excellent, in the 18 months she was there she presented many challenges and they met them all. The home know that it was not my first choice and I made that very clear to social services as I felt she needed more EMI nursing care then they could give but I was proven wrong.
