My sister has settled in really well at Woodlands Care Home. She is being extremely well cared for by the very kind, caring staff. Communication is excellent. I receive regular updates on her health and well-being, which is so important to me as I do not live locally. When visiting the care home,
there is always a warm welcome in a relaxed, homely atmosphere. There are plenty of activities which include music and singing, and occasional days out for those who are able to attend. I am extremely pleased with the exceptional service and care my sister receives at Woodlands.

I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful care home to anyone looking for a kind, nurturing environment for their loved one. After a nasty fall at home, we contacted Woodlands Park for urgent respite care. Following a visit arranged within half an hour of my call, my Mother-in-Law decided
that the home had a lovely feel to it and she would be happy to stay there. Despite it being late in the day, the staff pulled out all the stops to allow her to move in straight away. I will always be extremely grateful for the concern and kindness shown during what was a very difficult time for us. When she had a serious medical episode soon after arriving, which may not have raised concerns elsewhere, they knew her so well that they immediately called for an ambulance and almost certainly saved her life. From being critically ill in hospital, since returning she has improved beyond all expectation, undoubtedly due to the care she has received. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I went to visit my friend's nan over Christmas who I am very close with. It was so lovely to see how much confidence and how happy she is since moving into the care home. The staff are so friendly and you can see how much love and care goes into their work.

My impression of the home was one of warmth where individuals are valued and respected. The staff were active, caring and importantly light-hearted, chatting with residents and relatives. As a visitor I felt welcome and staff were more than willing to show me around. The staff also were more than
welcoming to my sister's husband who visits daily, enabling him to eat with my sister when appropriate. They had special treatment on their anniversary.
Location and grounds are good.

The staff at Woodlands are warm, welcoming and always so kind. They provide the highest standard of care and we have every confidence in them. Couldn't recommend them more and it's also a lovely, clean environment.

As you can imagine, the decision to put my wife into a care home was one of the hardest I've ever had to make but it's safe to say that choosing Woodlands Park has totally put my mind at ease as I've seen the progress she has made due to the wonderful care and compassion the staff have shown her -
and myself too. I am treated like a part of their family when I visit and everyone is so friendly.

Fantastic carehome team who have supported my father with the most attentive care. My dad has improved over the last year due to the teams support. They all challenge my dad to do activities that help with his mental health and well being. Its one big family working together for the best needs of my

My mum has now been a resident at Woodlands Park for three and a half years. They have taken great care of her during that time and, as her condition has progressed, have adapted their support to her increasing needs. They have recently obtained a special chair for her which ensures her comfort and
support at all times.
The feeling at Woodlands Park is one of love and care in a real home setting and we wouldn't want Mum to be anywhere else.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Woodlands Park to anyone who is looking for a home away from home for a relative. It's never easy making the decision to place a loved one in a home but the carers and staff at Woodlands have helped make the transition for our mum a great experience. The kindness
and compassion shown to the residents and their families is second to none. I live in America so knowing that my mum is being taken care of so well, treated like family and helped to rediscover a quality of life gives me so much peace of mind. My sister and father are able to visit whenever they want, and tea and cake are always offered - it's like our father's second home! You really can't ask for better than that .

My nanny has recently moved to Woodlands Park and the staff have been so welcoming and caring. Sadly my nan has deteriorated quickly but knowing she is in this home gives me some sort of comfort as everyone is so caring, especially with a (slightly) tricky resident.. They have worked tirelessly to
build up my nans strength to the point where she can now spend her days downstairs mingling with the other people living there and enjoy the activities that are put on and even have her nails painted in her favourite colour. Thank you to all the staff at Woodlands for all that you do.

The management and all the staff at woodlands care home go above and beyond to make sure my mum is comfortable safe and happy. It's not an easy job, not only to give my mother exceptional care but also for the rest of the residents. Just looking around and you see that all the residents are clean
happy and comfortable. They have also been such a big emotional support for my entire family. All the staff are brilliant but an extra special shout out to The manager Marie, Lara, Mandi and the house keeper Gina. They never fail to put a smile on my face making visiting my mother a more pleasurable experience.

I cannot recommend Woodlands Park highly enough - right from when they assessed my mum to her now living there, they have made us feel like part of their family. So compassionate and caring- not just to my mum but to all of us who visit but especially my dad who now feels like it's his second home.
The decision to put mum into a care home was not an easy one but we have definitely, 100%, made the right choice with Woodlands Park. Thank you to all the staff, residents and Kiki the cat for welcoming us with open arms and hearts

I am a long term friend/companion of a resident at Woodlands Park. After a bad fall earlier this year my friend's family chose this care centre for some respite care for her. While she was there she had a medical emergency to which the staff responded with total professionalism, calmness and great
care. My friend then became a permanent resident and is very happy here. She is very well looked after and enjoys some of the many activities offered here and is full of praise for the staff. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming whenever I visit and I love that they call me by my first name. The care centre is in a beautiful setting and has a lovely homely feel. Care and safety of the residents is paramount. My friend's family made an excellent decision when they chose Woodlands Park.

Just wanted to say that I had a wonderful visit to my sister today ( with my niece). Because it was 11/11 there was a short service with a visiting preacher and choir and a trumpeter to play the last post and reveille and all who attended seemed very moved by it all and it was obvious by her
behaviour that my sister loved it. Actually every time I visit,I feel Woodlands sort of puts a warm hug around all the residents and envelopes them with care and kindness and also welcomes visitors so that there are always smiles and gentleness and generosity to give a wonderful atmosphere. It is very reassuring that my sister is living happily and peacefully. Thank you.

My mother has been a resident here for nearly two years and me and my sisters (and Mum if she could say it) could not be happier. This is her second care home and although we were very happy with the first one, Woodlands has transformed her. One expects that with dementia the best you can hope for
is contentment but I really do think that Mum is happy. The setting here is lovely with excellent views across the valley where Mum has lived for the last 60 years. The staff are all so friendly and clearly are very fond of Mum which is so warming to see. It is a converted old country house with a rambling feel which I am sure is partly why Mum feels so at home.

My Mother went to Woodlands Park for some respite care, after struggling at home and getting progressively weaker. Despite being almost full, the staff were able to fit her in, and made my Mother and the family feel thoroughly welcome and safe. It was a big relief.
The setting is convenient for
access, but set well back and up from the main road, with greenery all around. We are always greeted warmly in a relaxed manner, yet a keen eye can see the safeguarding measures are in place discreetly. There are also regular visits from our surgery.
After three weeks, my Mother became critically ill (for pre-existing reasons), and the actions by the Woodlands staff undoubtedly saved her life. That she lived was a great surprise to the doctors in the Critical Care Unit, much less her being well enough to leave after only two weeks. When asked where she would like see out her days if she couldn't return home, she emphatically chose Woodlands Park as she loves it so much. Enough said.

I just wanted to thank all of the staff at woodlands. My sister and I visited mum today. Yet again she sat there proudly admiring her nails she had had painted. The staff are amazing, they spent time explaining how things are developing, for mum and answered all our queries. They went through all
the fun things that the residence had participated in eg mad hatters tea party and also trips out for those that can manage it. We find the Facebook page so helpful by keeping you up dated with all the fun the residences have been up to. I honestly don't know how they do it. All the residence are nurtured and well cared for. Thanks again we left content knowing mum was happy.

Woodlands is such a wonderful place not only is it set in a beautiful location the staff are amazing, always going that extra mile. My mum has been here for just over 2 years now and I can't thank them enough for the kindness, patience, compassion and love they show not just her but also me. It's a
beautiful welcoming home that we were so lucky to find, my mum is very happy and cared for exceptionally well.

Cannot speak highly enough, fabulous staff, home is always clean and friendly, plenty of activities and outings, my friend is extremely happy at Woodlands. She has a wonderful room with gorgeous views which she loves.
