View Full Details of AshburyMY DAUGHTER IS HAPPY, well cared for and loved. I am content to know she is in very capable, trustworthy hands, especially as she has acute medical needs which are met with diligence and precision. She has been in many homes over the years as her needs have changed but out of all of them Ashbury Care Home is the one that has a really gentle family atmosphere, without a doubt residents/service users welfare and comfort come first. There's a daily menu with good tasty food (I sometimes stay for lunch), loads of activities including craft, plus outings in their mini bus for those who want to join in. As her mother a heart felt THANK YOU
We have always found all the staff very friendly and always able to answer any queries we have. Our only slight criticism is not always informed about appointments being made as unfortunately my dad's family do not live locally it would be appreciated a quick phone call. Dad always looks clean and also his clothes. Room and bedding clean and tidy as Dad is bed bound this is important. Staff try very hard for Dad to join in activities and outings which unfortunately Dad does not want to do but nice to think he is included if he wanted to participate.
Any worries I have, I am able to speak to the manager and sort them out, they are always ready to listen. There was a safeguarding problem with the hospital which the home put in a complaint and got it sorted.
Very good carers, polite. Lovely room.
