Our mum was transfered from another care home.since mum has been at cedar tree she has gone from having a stroke ,lost feeling in left side and always in bed,not wanting to get up to wanting to get up most days and joining other residents in dinning room and lounge. And making friends.First thing we
noticed when we came to view the home was the residents smiling. The carers can't do enough for mum or ourselves too.love this place.

My mum originally went to Cedar Tree Care Home for six and a half weeks whilst her broken arm healed following a fall in her own home. With Mum having dementia we were really anxious about how she would settle. But, as soon as I walked in with her she was impressed, her comment being "this is
brilliant". We were met by the manager and one of her team and Mum was shown her ensuite bedroom and again said "this is brilliant". As the weeks went on and Mum's arm healed we realised how much she was enjoying the company, loving the staff and eating better so we made the decision (not a difficult one) for Mum to stay there permanently. Mum enjoys the activities and the family all enjoy the photos and video clips their lovely activities co-ordinator sends us. Mum has been living at Cedar Tree for four months now and when I was away this October it was so reassuring to know Mum was being cared for by friendly, caring staff 24/7. This level of constant care is something that we couldn't provide as a family.
