Mum stayed for a few weeks respite care and we're very happy with the experience. She was made to feel welcome from the moment she arrived, and we really appreciated that she was given the same room as before, its a lovely, comfortable space and familiarity makes a big difference to her. Due to her dementia, she doesn't always recall her stay, but fro, what I have seen on social media care home page, she clearly had a great time. There were plenty of activities and entertainment, which is so reassuring to see. The staff are friendly, helpful and caring. When she returns home, she is noticeably more stimulated.

Excellent home, excellent staff. The love and care shown to mum is second to none. Choosing Riverdale Court over 5 years ago was the best decision I have ever made.

I have been impressed by the infinite patience and sympathetic care given by all the staff. They take the time to build relationships with the residents and their family and friends. The residents are always spoken to by name, important in keeping that personal identity. The activities are designed to stimulate memory and interest but also with a sense of joy and fun. The rooms are kept spotless as is the laundry. The use of tags helps to keep residents personal clothing identifiable.Senior carers keep relatives / nominated friends up to date with care issues and are always available for consultation.

Mum came in July due to worsening Dementia. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the place for mum. Jackie on reception was so nice and welcoming. Mum has settled so well. She joins in the activities and she is laughing and joking with the staff. All the staff are caring and helpful. They are lovely with all of the residents. The activity ladies (Pansy and Vicky) and all of the other ladies and gentlemen whose names I don't know, are all amazing. I would highly recommend them.

My Father moved into Riverdale Court (Cherry) in September 2024, initially for respite but has since become a permanent resident. In December 2024 my Mother joined him and they both require dementia care. From the outset, the care they have received has been outstanding. The home is super friendly warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. Staff work exceptionally hard going above and beyond to care for the residents in a kind, compassionate, and considerate way, striving to treat them with dignity. Ideally, we would witness a few more organised activities for those able but slowly this is improving. As a family, we have no concerns and really cannot fault it.

My mum is happy and well taken care of. All her needs are met as much as possible. The staff are very helpful and friendly. All our requests are seen to promptly.

My relative has resided in Riverdale for nearly a year. All of the home staff and management have been amazing and so supportive of us. They have helped give my relative her life back, she is so happy again. All the care and support we have received has given me my life back. Thank you, Riverdale you've all been amazing.

Following a meeting with the manager in Nov regarding an earlier review points made have been satisfactorily addressed. For care, this home has met the needs of my mother-in-law completely and made us feel a welcome part of the community.

My Mum has been at Riverdale Court for 1 year. She has settled in as well as any dementia patient can. Her condition can be challenging, but the carers are great at dealing with her during these difficult times. They are kind, caring, and very empathetic with the residents. Thank you to all the staff for looking after my Mum.

Excellent. The staff is very good, supported by a good management team. Facilities are good quality and well maintained. The social enrichment including all the activities put on for the residents is excellent. I have seen my mum really enjoy these activities.

Mum has been a resident of Riverdale Court for the last 6.5 years. During this time Mum has been happy and well cared for. I cannot fault anything. On arrival, the reception staff are welcoming and helpful. The home smells fresh and is clean and tidy. The care staff know Mum well and go above and beyond to care for and support her independence. There is a happy atmosphere and great communication.

The care given to my mum is constantly at a high standard, giving her respect and dignity. She is always clean and tidy, wearing her own clothes. The hairdresser does my mum's hair.

The care my husband receives is excellent. The staff are very caring, thoughtful, helpful and kind. I am confident of the care and support my husband receives at Riverdale Court is good at all times. I always feel welcome whenever I visit, staff keep me informed of any health issues that arise. Thank you.

I accompanied my mother (a recent resident) to the annual BBQ and it was extremely well organised, and executed. There were staff on hand to engage other residents in the entertainment where no friends/family were present. It was really nice to see this display of inclusiveness despite their personal circumstances. It was evident that a lot of planning had gone into the event from the catering, entertainment, and seating arrangements - including preparing for any rain! - raffles etc. Thoroughly enjoyable day, thank you!

Happy to leave review. Mum has been here for 5 years now. We have seen the care industry suffer through COVID and despite this, Riverdale have provided amazing care at difficult times. There has been a new manager in the last year and he seems very proactive and family meetings are booked well in advance and a recent introduction of a "parents evening" style meeting gives us a chance to talk to the various departments. Really great care home and Mum loves it there.

We, as a family, are very happy with the care our mum gets. She is very happy and tells us she feels very safe. She told us she would not be able to live in her own home without her late husband. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The time that my mother has spent here over nearly three years has made me and my family feel safe for her. The dedication of all the team members makes Riverdale a very comforting environment. I feel that although for us it was a difficult decision originally, it was the best and I can only thank each and every person with all my heart for how they treat our mum. Thank you all.

My cousin came to Riverdale just as covid started so we didn't have an induction to the home, we went by recommendation. We can only comment on food by asking my cousin, she appears happy but I would have liked to see a menu.

Mum has been a resident of Riverdale Court for the last 6.5 years. During this time Mum has been happy and well cared for. I cannot fault anything. The care my husband receives is excellent. The staff are very caring, thoughtful, helpful and kind. I am confident of the care and support my husband receives at Riverdale Court is good at all times. We, as a family, are very happy with the care our mum gets. She is very happy and tells us she feels very safe. She told us she would not be able to live in her own home without her late husband. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
