Mum has been going to Greycliffe for respite since New Year of 2025. She tends to go in for a week at a time and while at first, she was reluctant, now she goes straight into the lounge to see what's going on and leaves me to unpack her belongings etc. She is always telling me how lovely the staff
are to her, and how much she loves the food. I witness for myself that everyone is very engaged with the residents and very quick to help if they need anything....from a cup of tea, or trip to the toilet, or any other questions. The manager and and the entire team are always very welcoming and I feel very relaxed about leaving mum in their care as I take a break.

The care and support which the team at Greycliffe provided to my aunt, and to all our family, during a difficult time was exceptional. We were able to visit at any time and were always met with a friendly face and a kind word. We were kept up to date with all that we needed to know, and given all
the time to talk through how my aunt's needs were being met, and how she was doing. As things progressed, everyone was so generous of their time and found ways of letting us know little things which helped us prepare for the end.
The building itself is very light and airy and the views into the landscaped gardens were lovely. I always found it to be clean and bright; the atmosphere was welcoming and homely. The team engage the residents with physical activities and mental challenges, as well as having visits from a therapy dog, cooking, and having 'country days'- e.g. Italy with a special menu and suitable bunting etc.
Highly recommended for wonderful care, kindness and personal approach.

Mum (aged 96) became a resident at Greycliffe Manor at a very stressful time as we had to find a suitable care home in just six weeks when her previous care home closed in March 2024.
From the moment we walked through the door, we felt it was a place where mum would feel at home. We were impressed
with the decor, the homely atmosphere and the obvious desire from everyone involved to give mum the best possible care and attention. Since that time, we have continued to be kept informed of how mum is doing; receiving regular emails and telephone calls if there have been any issues regarding her health or well-being, being welcomed whenever we visit and, most importantly, knowing how much mum appreciates all the love and care she receives from all the staff. She cannot praise the staff enough for all that they do for her.
I am so grateful for the excellent care, tasty meals, medical support and various activities that Greycliffe offers and would not hesitate in recommending it.

The management and staff offer a very caring and supportive environment to the residents. We are always made to feel welcome whenever we visit our mum and they give their time and a listening ear to the residents which is so very reassuring, this in turn encourages a very happy and positive
environment. The daily activities are wonderful and the residents can decide if they want to join in. We enjoy seeing the posts on social media of the residents at these events. Thank you for finding the time to do this.
The garden is wonderful and when we visited during the warm summer days it was lovely to sit outside - even then the staff were making sure that there was shade, hats and sunscreen available for the residents.
The meals are varied and always enjoyed by my mum.
We greatly appreciate all the love, care and support given. Thank you.

My mum went to Greycliffe in June 2024 and was not in a very good place either physically or mentally. The staff at Greycliffe have been outstanding in their care and understanding of my mum, they have made her feel so welcome as well as sorting out medical issues for her too. They have brought back
the Mum I had a year or so ago and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the whole team. Thank you all at Greycliffe.

Mum was at Greycliffe for just a month, as she had a life-limiting condition, but throughout her short stay, she was totally happy there. The care that she received was everything I could have hoped for. The staff were so friendly and dedicated and the environment was extremely welcoming and
comfortable. It may not have fancy spa facilities or a restaurant-quality dining experience, but the emphasis is on nurturing a skilled, homely and caring relationship with the residents and their relatives. I was kept well informed as to the progression of Mum's condition and had great emotional support from all the staff and management. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Greycliffe Manor.

At the age of 103, my mum realised that we could no longer care for her and asked to go into a care home. We could not have made a better choice as she was welcomed with affection from day one. We made several unannounced visits a week and invariably found her treated with care, respect and
compassion. Any minor complaints were immediately and professionally dealt with. When her health deteriorated, medical assistance was swiftly obtained and the carers could not have been more understanding, helpful and compassionate. Although Mum was only at Greycliffe Manor for a short while, it was a great relief to us that her last few months were happy. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, good humour, and professionalism.
