Holcroft Grange were very welcoming from the first phone call. Dad initially started as a 4 week respite stay, which has converted to permanent. The most important thing for me is Dad says 'he feels safe' and cared for, and he had stopped feeling safe at home on his own. Holcroft Grange is spotless
and the staff are warm and caring. There is a good range of activities available, and the position of the home means we can take Dad out into the village. I'm not sure we could have found anywhere better.

I have been at Holcroft Grange for just over eighteen months and feel that I have been incredibly lucky to have found a home from home here. I lost my husband this year, and the love and support I received here was wonderful. I can only wish that everyone who needs care can find such a place to
spend the twilight of their days.

I feel very safe.
Plenty of activities to me busy.
Food is excellent.
Staff are great.
Made lots of good friends.
What I love visitors can come anytime.

In the two months I was in respite care, I felt overall I thrived in Holcroft Grange, whilst offering my support, I was given as much independence as possible to allow me to retain my facilities to be able to return to my new apartment. I am grateful for everything Holcroft gave to me under good
leafers. As my son said at the end of my 2 month stay, he was pleased to get his mum back.

Mum came into Holcroft Grange for respite in mid June and is still there now. This is her first time in respite and it's fair to say that the staff have been caring, supportive, professional and friendly to mum and indeed our extended family during this time. We have found them responsive to
queries, patient and informative. The home is clean, calm and has a variety of facilities to cater for different needs. Mum settled in well and is enjoying the activities and is joining in but there is always a place you can find if you prefer a quieter environment.

My Mum was very happy here. The staff were lovely and friendly and did everything they could to make my mums stay safe and happy. The staff are very caring and also fun. The activity organiser did a fantastic job, my mum had lovely trips out and there was lots of entertainment going on and craft
classes.

An amazing team who care so much and show such motivation and enthusiasm for all they do. The activities are varied and provide fun for the residents.
High standards of cleanliness and general maintenance.
Recent changes are very welcome and great to see the resident's views are listened to.

After a lengthy hospital admission, the staff at Holcroft Grange supported the transition from hospital to residential care fully with facilitating preadmission visits, informal look around to mum-in-law spending a day and then having a trial week (which actually never ended as she elected to stay!)
Since coming to Holcroft Grange mum-in-law has flourished which is a joy to see.

Holcroft Grange has provided a safe, friendly, warm and caring environment for my mother since her arrival six months ago. The level of care she receives is superb, the staff are kind and attentive, there is all kinds of activities going on every day based in Holcroft and the local area, plus coach
trips out. I can honestly say that Holcroft has given me peace of mind when it comes to the care and safety of my mother.

My dad is at Holcroft Grange - been there for over a year. He is very happy and living life to the full. The entertainment is fantastic, seems to be something on every day. The staff are very caring and give him the support as and when he needs. As a family we are very happy with Dad being at HG as
we know he is now able to enjoy life and be safe/around caring people.

I cannot rate this home highly enough. The level of care received by my mum was truly that of a family standard, the staff don't just do their job, they genuinely care. I only wish we had found this place sooner to give Mum even more happy memories.

My Mum is in Holcroft Grange and has been there for about 18 months. She is very happy. The staff are amazing with my mum and nothing is any trouble for them. Their care is amazing and there is always something to keep them entertained. The team that organises this are the best.

Provides loving care with very caring staff. Entertainment is fantastic, there seems to be something on every day. The food is very good. My mother is very happy and making excellent progress with the care given.

I find all staff very welcmioing and I am updated on any issues regarding Mum on a regular basis. Mum is very well cared for. Staff are extremely kind and extremely helpful. Mum is very comfortable in her room. There is a good stand if cleanliness throughout. Mum enjoys the entertainment/activities
when she is able. She enjoyed an outing to the pub for a meal last year. Overall, I am very happy with Mums care.

My mother required urgent respite for a few days and Holcroft Grange provided the support. The staff are very welcoming and supportive and the place is clean and tidy and welcoming.

We were extremely pleased with the care, attention and affection given to my mother during her dispute. nothing too much trouble, first-class home.

All the staff have been very courteous and kind, atmosphere very friendly on the whole. Settling in okay.
Lovely that my family can visit in various rooms.

During Mum's time at Holcroft Grange, the staff have gone from reliable, regular full-time staff to mostly agency staff who cannot build rapport with the residents. This is significant as is the deterioration in the quality and variety of food on offer.

I have visited other care homes and consider that we are very fortunate to have found a place for my mother in Holcroft Grange.
