Mum had been reluctant to move into a care home, but after a couple of falls, made her decision to move into Brunel House. From the very start, she settled in and enjoyed the wonderful friendly staff team. Mum likened the standards to a hotel.
She really enjoyed the entertainments and the creative
classes laid on, also the Christmas Carol service. Mum frequently reported back that the food was delicious, especially the puddings!
Thank you all, for the genuine love & care given to my lovely Mum, you are a great team.

Mum arrived at Brunel House in Nov 2024 with some trepidation, however, the staff were absolutely wonderful & she soon settled in. Mum said on many occasions how happy & content she was & that she had made the right decision to move in. Mum loved chatting to the staff & fellow residents, taking part
in activities and being included in what was going on.
Mum, myself & my sister were given peace of mind knowing Mum was safe, loved and cared for.

My Mum has been a resident at Brunel since July 2025.
The lovely,caring staff and management are always on hand to answer any queries.
Entertainment is fabulous and fun, plenty of activities,lots of quizzes, crafts and trips, and my Mum loves having her nails done!
The nurses keep me constantly
updated with any health issues.
Couldn't wish for a better place for my Mum.

Have visited several times. My sister is at Brunel House & whilst she has no choice where she was sent after hospital release, it has worked out well due to proximity to her home & friends. Staff are excellent & on the whole caring & friendly. Food could be better. I have not rated activities or
value as I have no experience.

Brunel is an exceptional care home, made extra special by the fantastic staff and management team. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and they look after their residents and families so well. Mum really enjoys all of the activities and outings and the lifestyle team are very special! Thank
you for looking after mum so well. I would not hesitate to recommend Brunel to anyone!

Overall lovely setting and all the staff seem friendly and helpful. Greeted on arrival. My sister seems to like the place, but would like to be got up & washed a bit earlier.

My mother died at Brunel House this week.
The rest of your homes should use Brunel as a blueprint for the best care of both residents and family. Mums death was very quick but your staff not only took time to look after Mum but also us, as family. The speed of Mums death was a shock but I can't
fault all the home did. We we consolled, not just by carers, but also cleaners, maintenance and chefs.

Meeting appointment set up easily. Greeted by all cordially & courteously. Meeting went well, with staff understanding and sympathising with the situation, advising the next steps to be taken. Given calling card of main management member and they are happy to be contacted if more assistance is
required.
We left the premises feeling reassured and confident of a positive outcome for our long-term resident relative.

My dad (William) has been treated exceptionally well after losing my mum (his wife) and having to reside in Brunel House, my little family has also been treated so warmly when we visit. We love going to the entertainments and making memories with dad.
All the staff are very kind and caring :)

I can't express enough how helpful, caring and happy all the staff members are it's like one big family. The home is always spotless clean, and nothing is every too much trouble whether it is asking questions or just being supportive, I would be more than happy if any of my family members came to
live here.

My mum was transferred from hospital to this amazing home. All the staff from the managers, activity & care staff are wonderful. The care given to my mother has been/is first rate and I would not hesitate he recommend this place.

As a frequent visitor to Brunel House I have always found it welcoming and friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very warm and helpful and seem happy to be working there, and are always happy to help.

This is a fantastic care home. Management listen and understand the needs of the occupant. All staff are a pleasure to engage with and more than competent in what they do.
Also has added bonus of seperate nursing floor as well as residential

My sister and I, we are very happy with the staff, we think she's well looked after, we can get a cup of tea when we want one; there is a lot of activities she could partisipate in if she wanted to.

The staff here are brilliant! My friend was admitted as an emergency on a weekend and was welcomed with open arms and looked after really well. Can't fault the staff. Admin, nurses, catering and cleaning staff all went out of their way to make his stay as comfortable as possible.

My mother has now been a resident at Brunel House for eighteen months and from being very frail and ill when she moved in, she has had a new lease of life and feels happy and secure here, surrounded by the warmth, care and attention of all the exceptional, wonderful staff.
It has been a huge relief
to us, her family, to see how well she is looked after; with respect, patience, understanding and kindness and we feel we could not have chosen a better home for her.
She often joins in the daily activities that are provided at Brunel House and is able to voice her opinion and contribute to ideas such as menus, trips out etc. at the frequent residents' meetings that are held.
The staff here try very hard to enhance the outdoor space for the residents with a gardening club, flower planting etc. and if I have any niggles it would be that I think they should be more supported from the home's headquarters with a proper gardener on site for regular maintenance.
Otherwise, wonderful!

The care and attention given to my mother in law has been excellent. Despite being bed bound the staff have shown her immense care and attention and talk to her to make her feel special. They treat her with dignity and respect. They make the time to talk to her. The food is excellent and my
mother in law always looks forward to a cake in the afternoon.

The more for my mother into Brunel House was very smooth with a big emphasis on ensuring my mothers new room felt like home. My mother has settled in well and we are grateful for the support and care she receives The staff are always friendly, compassionate and dedicated. The communication between
the home and ourselves is excellent. The activities programme is outstanding and well organised ensuring a positive impact on my mothers well being.

My sister and I, we are very happy with the staff, we think she's well looked after, we can get a cup of tea when we want one; there is a lot of activities she could partisipate in if she wanted to.

The care and attention given to my mother in law has been excellent. Despite being bed bound the staff have shown her immense care and attention and talk to her to make her feel special. They treat her with dignity and respect. They make the time to talk to her. The food is excellent and my
